Great location. 10 minutes walk from the city center. There are lots of bars and cafes and restaurants in the area too. Modern place to stay.

We had to meet the owner so he'd hand over the keys to us. The location on booking and google maps is not CORRECT. It's 2 streets away from where Booking is showing it. When we told the owner about it, he was like 'nah'. It was as if he knew and didn't do anything about it. And then he got irritated because we couldn't meet him on time. Not pleasant to be blamed for something you are not responsible for....... The room is also very small. There's barely any space to put your bags and move. However, it's very modern.

The location was close to almost every attraction in the city. The apartment was very clean and you had all the necessary supplies.

The wi-fi doesn't really work

Nice clean room, pleasant to stay at. Our apartment had a window facing a street, so it was nice to relax on the comfortable bed and feel the Budapest atmosphere. If you don't want to open the window, there's an air conditioner. The small kitchen has all the necessary equipment. The bathroom is new and really tidy. The building itself is quite old, but we love such vintage vibe that is so typical of Budapest. We'd read some comments saying that the apartment is located on a different street rather than stated on Booking. It's true, but the correct address is really not so far from the stated one + the correct address is sent in a message from Booking several days before moving in, so there's time to prepare and look at the map. The apartment building is located on a street with nice cafes, there's also a beautiful synagogue and Levantine restaurants close by. If you arrive by the 100E bus from the airport, it is convenient to get off at the Astoria stop and walk approx. 7-10 minutes to the apartment.

Travellers with luggage should consider that there is no elevator, the apartment is on the second floor. Also no lighting in the hallway at evening/night. At night the sounds from the street may be quite loud. One side of the mattress in our room had a 'deepening', so the person on that side rolled over to that deepening sometimes. For some people the kitchen may be too small. But in general these things did not spoil our travel at all.

Great position, near Astoria. The apartment is located in a shabby building but the room is very nice, comfortable and clean. The kitchen is small but it has got everything, induction plate and pot included (but we didn't use them).

The bed and the pillows are uncomfortable. During our stay (7 nights) towels and bed clothes haven't being changed but we didn't ask for them. And the same happened with toilet paper and cleaning.

It was a cozy and clean room near the Christmas Market. You don't need more if you're just passing through.

I would have liked everything to be digitalized, to be able to pick up the keys from a locker myself. Furthermore, on Booking is not specified the correct address, it was sent another one from e-mail; it is near the specified address, but could be edited.

it was very clean, great location within walking distance to 90% of attractions, airport shuttle 100E stop is not too far away, 24/7 mini market close by so convenient for late/early arrivals, a lot of bar, cafe and restaurants close by. check in was easy, location was easy to find on google maps. bed was comfy. apartment came with hot plate for cooking, plates, cutlery, pots and pans as well as microwave and fridge-freezer. basic toiletries provided. ran out of toilet paper as initially there was maybe enough for one day, took a while for them to replace as I think they forgot when I notified them the first time, but upon calling them in the evening they came within 30mins. hairdryer and towels provided.

If I’m being picky, more pillows could be provided rather than cushions. toilet seat was too small for the toilet. if you’re staying there on the weekend it can get quite loud from the bar-goers, we went during a non-peak season and it was still fairly loud on Friday and Saturday night. also you can hear other holiday makers in the hallway especially when they come back at 3am drunk, it didn’t bother us but just something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper.

The property is located in a really nice neighborhood close to the nice restaurants and bars. You can walk to the city center or take a tram/bus which is located nearby. The staff was helpful, we didn’t have an iron in our room (as was listed on the website), but when I asked the staff they brought it in couple of hours.

The room has a handle from both sides of the main door so you need to lock yourself in every time. It wasn’t a huge problem for us, but it might for some guests.

Perfect location, and one of the best hosts I had in my life, super responsive, super kind, and super helpful, well worth it in my opinion :)

Bed weren't so comfortable, and you can still hear people walking outside your room which means they can hear you as well, so it is not 100% noise proof

The location couldn't have been better! Right in the middle of the Jewish neighborhood where you can find a lot of cultural and historical places as well as restaurants and bars. There's plenty of public transportation around and the area is absolutely safe. Host was attentive and helpful, waited for us as we arrived later than expected and showed us everything there's to know about the place. Bed was comfortable and warm. Never felt any cold while in the room and it was -3 outside! There's an AC for both, cold and hot air. Room was quite, could sleep with no bothering noises. There was a mini fridge, toaster, microwave and portable electric burner, plus a pot and a pan to cook simple things. Shower was great, perfect water pressure and instant hot water. Wouldn't change a thing! Extra info: If you arrive when it's already dark, the building might look a little old and strange but that's just common in Budapest :)

Very convenient to all amenities in the city of Budapest

Quite noisy from early morning with road traffic/ people noises. Also noisy at night with people shouting. Pillows ((or the two cushions) on the bed were very hard to behold gave preferred proper pillows. No hob for cooking in the room. It would have been nice to have the facility to change the tv to English
