The staff was phenomenal and they were very attentive to our needs, going out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible. The breakfast menu was quite extensive which gave us the opportunity to try different options that felt homey and family-like. It's very much worth the value for money. The rooftop has a lovely view over the Taj Mahal.

The room was quite cold due to the (beautiful) marble floors. It took us some time to understand how to use the heater but after that everything was fine. The wifi in the room was not very stable but it was just enough for our needs.

I stayed at Aman home stay for 3 nights and I really can’t recommend it enough! It’s honestly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Aman and Ranjana look after you so well, from arranging airport pick up and drop off to sightseeing and drivers. I had Mohammad as a tour guide who was absolutely amazing he took me to the Taj Mahal and the Agra fort he gave me lots of information that I would not have known without him and he told the story so beautifully I was actually in tears! In the evening we all sat down to dinner with all of the other guests and I got to meet some amazing people from all around the world it was such a fab experience and not to mention the exceptional food which was home cooked and delicious. Along with the beautiful rooftop terrace and amazing view of the Taj I honestly don’t think you will find a better place to stay in Agra. Thank you for an amazing experience you really made me feel welcome and a part of your beautiful family.

There was nothing not to like.

Excellent, choice of many things for breakfast and we had different things each morning. Eggs cooked any way you liked and toast and many other things if required! The dinner was delicious and just what we needed, very tasty and and Aman and Ranjanna were just the loveliest of people who couldn’t do enough for you. The bed was exceptionally comfy and I slept very well. It was very lovely to be able to go out onto the terrace/roof and see the Taj and the city view. The owners have spent a lot of care and money in making this a very nice place to stay and they should be very happy with what they have achieved. We were very thankful for such a warm welcome after arriving from hectic Delhi! ❤️

Fantastic place to stay in agra. Very clean, good showers, lots of communal spaces to hang out in. Excellent location, only a 3 minute walk to the entrance point for the east gate of the Taj. The staff couldn't be more helpful. Aman organised a tour guide for the Taj, very cheap (500 rupees for a group of 7) and very good - Muhammad Tariq was our guide. They also helped with organising transport to our next city and options for dining out. We ate in at the hotel one night and the meal was great. Thanks for a great stay, lives up to the comments in the other reviews. Would definitely stay again!

We had a very good stay at the Amman homestay in Agra. it is extremely well run. Nothing is too much trouble for the family. The food is so delicious and for dinner everyone sits around a table and they provide delicious vegetable Curry’s, rice and breads, followed by a small desert. I wasn’t very well when I was there and the staff couldn’t have done more to help us - including finding us another room in a local hotel to stay as they had a no availability to stay on one more night, I would highly recommend this lovely homestay to anybody looking to visit Agra. It is a little Haven in what can sometimes be a challenging city.

It was all great

Ideal location for the Taj Mahal - five minutes walk to the gate where you can catch the golf buggy. It was more of a hotel than a homestay, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The rooftop has a great view and the staff let us sit there after checkout, whilst they looked after our bags for us downstairs, which was kind.

We had dinner at the homestay, which was tasty, if expensive at 790 rupees each, and was very gently spiced, presumably to suit an international palate. We decided against having breakfast in the hotel as it was also expensive. Access to a steady supply of free drinking water would have been helpful.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Aman Homestay! The hospitality here is unmatched – the family that runs the homestay is incredibly warm, kind, and attentive to every guest’s needs. They truly made me feel at home. The rooms and facilities are spotless and in excellent condition, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm. The food was another highlight – delicious and prepared with so much care. It was such a treat to enjoy authentic and flavorful meals during my stay. Aman Homestay also went above and beyond to make my trip seamless. They arranged a taxi for me to Jaipur when I checked out, which was incredibly helpful. Thanks to their guidance and support, my experience visiting the Taj Mahal was absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Agra. It’s the perfect place to feel welcome and well taken care of. I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m back in Agra!

A charming peaceful boutique hotel in a perfect serene location, only 5 min of walking to Taj Mahal entrance. Very convenient. Perfect location, immaculately clean, modern, build in a very aesthetically pleasing style. Super comfortable foam memory mattress and pillow, I slept like a baby. It’s very peaceful and quiet which is important to me as I’m a light sleeper. Bathroom had a great shower, and is very clean. There’s Netflix in the room if you desire to watch something. Beautiful lightening, great curtains blocking the sun and heat. Very quiet aircon and fan. There are slippers and dental kit ready for you. Also kettle and teas included. There are 2 lifts in the building that will help you to go up to 2 roof tops where you can see Taj Majal and relax in beautiful swings. Very romantic and chilled atmosphere. Also white gran piano is there! Very cool! The best part about this hotel is Aman and his family. They are very welcoming, professional but very warm and it really feels as if you’re coming to home away from home. You MUST try their food! You need to notify them that you want to eat dinner at home as they are preparing everything fresh and from scratch. But you MUST try it! I am even not a fan of Indian cuisine and yet I couldn’t believe how full of flavour, aroma and taste was their delicious food! It was truly a celebration for my taste buds. I also noticed that it’s on the healthier side of Indian food. I wish I could eat it every day while travelling in India! I haven’t had anything close to that yet, and that’s why I definitely recommend to eat at their place and not to be bothered to spend extra in some mediocre overpriced restaurants where the food is the same as all over the world. There’s also laundry service available and breakfast that you can enjoy after the visit to Taj. They will give you all info on what you can visit, help you with logistics and really with anything else needed for a smooth travelling.

Absolutely nothing

If you are going to Agra book this Amazing hotel, you will not be disappointed every person who works their were so friendly and helpful, Aman booked all of our excursions for us and everything was perfect, big shout out to sunny the tuk tuk driver , we booked him for a full day and experienced all agra had to offer and then some, the food in the hotel deserves its own 10 out 10, the food is the best I have ever had in india, traditional and cooked perfect.

Great home stay with lovely staff especially Aman who can help you with everything, great rooftop area for relaxing and on a clear day you can see the Taj Mahal in the distance. They have their own tuk tuk driver Vicky who can take you to the Taj and anywhere else you’d like to go in the city in a brand new tuk tuk. They also have a great driver Lakan who can take you to and from the airport and also other cities. The thing I most remember though is the food that is cooked by Aman’s mother it is absolutely delicious and my mouth is watering now as I write this remembering those delicious flavours of curries and freshly made chapatis that never stop coming.
