Valet parking associates were very helpful and experienced. They would always be ready to park our car and take it out whenever required. The breakfast served in the restaurant was also very good. Helpdesk was always responsive and ready to assist at any time of the day, except for one little issue regarding the smoke alarm beeping. Location was also great, air conditioner was flawless, housekeeping was also good at their work.

We had an issue with one room where a smoke detector suddenly started beeping. Although we called the helpdesk and they informed us of an immediate resolution, nobody came to help upto half an hour from the first time we called for help. Finally the housekeeping staff came and helped turn it off quickly, but by then a good 60 minutes had passed of constant beeping. There were no other issues noted with our stay and it was peaceful. Worth it.

I had a great stay here as a solo traveller. It made me feel totally safe. The entire staff was friendly and very courteous. I infact had an early check in which was way too early. However they made it a point to give me a room as soon as it was available which was 9:30 AM. I really appreciate their help regarding this. The entire stay was just amazing without any complaint. The food is great and the stay overall is totally worth your money. The beach is just few meters away and has shopping stores, massage centers nearby apart from their in house massage center. I would totally recommend this stay for solo travelers too.

The rooms are very neat and clean. Generally good ambiance. The live music in the lobby is a nice feature. The staff in the lobby and restaurant were very friendly and professional.

The breakfast and dinner buffet spread was disappointing for the non vegetarian dishes. Only chicken and fish, and fish was limited to Basa. The daily replenishment of coffee and tea bags was not consistent. On the first day there were 4 types of tea but on remaining days only 1 or 2. The A/c controls in the room was hard to use.

The staff at the restaurant were a delight and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable n make your breakfast as enjoyable as possible. Especially would like to mention Chiranjit who went above n beyond to help us during breakfast. The musician performing during the breakfast was also a highlight!

There was a particular smell in the rooms which was maybe from the carpets also the additional Wing of the hotel had a stink on the ground floor which was very unpleasant when we walked past to go to the elevators.

The STAFF! Their empathy and desire to make things right was excellent. Without that, we would have been very unimpressed, but, they really were trying hard to make things better for us. The location was conveniently close to the beach and quite a few lovely places to eat and drink! Once we got the room we had seen pictures of, it all became much better a proposition but that's only because a room became available, luckily. Again, a Great Big THANK YOU to the Staff!!

1st floor sunrise view room without a view (1st night)... Too firm matress, only 1 towel each, no flanel, no bathrobes, no hairdryer, average breakfast... Definitely not a 5 star hotel, a 4, perhaps. In a 5 Star, all the above is granted. We're well travelled and always book 5 star hotels as a treat. This wasn't a treat. The 2 bad pictures of the outside our balcony view on 1st night (Hotel was full). The following 3 nights were as per their website pictures.

Room size, facilities, proximity to the beach, staff's attitude

Upon arrival I could feel the room was not ventilated and I needed to open the terrace door so that some fresh air can get it. Yet, the terrace door at my room did not have a net against mosquitos and as a result I couldn't sleep well since I needed to stay awake to protect myself against the mosquitos. This was the only unpleasant part regarding the room experience. I also had a massage which was great! I was a little bit surprised to understand that the price mentioned in the leaflet was without taxes so upon payment I needed to pay almost 1000 rupees more for taxes. It would have been nice to have that mentioned/communicated that better.

Friendly staff and lovely clean rooms. Great view from the balcony. We loved the little cake they brought us for our honeymoon. Spa was nice, and basic gym was good. Fantastic breakfast options and spread.

Breakfast was advertised from 6.30am. We went at this time one day as we had a flight to catch. However, it wasn't ready. As we were leaving around 7am, most of the breakfast still wasn't ready. They shouldn't advertise for a certain time if they can't stick to it - we'd have made alternative arrangements, had we known. Local beach didn't have much going on - very basic, quiet. Service in outside areas was a little slow.

Exceptional breakfast, warm staff. Clean rooms and linen. Great location, 5 mins walk to the beach.

While check-out, the reception said that we have to pay for the mini bad consumables. When asked what we consumed, they said one of the cashew container's seal was broken. Lol, if really wanted to break the seal of the cashew box, I wouldn't have eaten just 1 or 2. Would have finished the whole thing if I'm gonna pay for it anyway

The location of the hotel is awesome and most good restaurants and Candolim beach are accessible by a short walk. Breakfast spread had almost everything you can think of. The room was comfortable and large.

The sound proofing in the rooms is poor. You can easily hear every word someone is saying in the next room.

What a fantastic hotel. Greatly exceeded our expectations. We struggled to choose accommodation in Goa - there are lots of options at varying price points. We are SO glad we chose the Holiday Inn. The rooms are just excellent, comparable with a 5 star hotel in a capital city. We were upgraded to a pool view room. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms big and the rooms are very quiet. The breakfast is extensive and delicious. The pool area is lovely. The gym is well appointed and air conditioned. The location is good - beaches & tourist sites in walking distance, and some lovely restaurants very close by. To top it off, every single staff member is exceptional. So helpful and kind, always a big smile! The staff helped us arrange some activities and were always available. When you consider the price point as well… great value for money. Strongly recommend!!!
