The staff were amazing from the doormen, the porters, cleaners, laundry, waiters and barman there was not a single one who did not do their work well and with a smile.. special call out to the travel desk who dealt with a multitude of our requests. Rooms were decent size, clean and comfortable. We had full board so all three meals for ten days at the hotel and every day there was something different and variety for everyones taste. The staff in Melange were outstanding particularly our waiters. Dessert bar was a special treat. Zanzibar was well run and pleasant spot for a drink. When our air conditioning started to trip the electricals in our room we were immediately transferred to another room.

Reported a maintenance issue (securty safe did not work) in our room three times and nothing done about it so we eventually gave up. Pool by day ten starting to look a little murky.

I love the look and feel, the history, the heritage, the maintenance of hotelier traditions, protocols. It is nostalgic to sample that. I also love the bold colours. And the garden and the view are beautiful. The restaurant - Melange - has a wonderful spread for breakfast and the staff are super attentive. One, Mr Hari Prasad, helped me get comfortable & have a hearty breakfast. My gratitude to the staff.

Room fresheners are needed. This is an older property with very good maintenance, yet such properties do need to be refreshed well. All cushion furniture needs deep-cleanse. Minor chips and cracks in woodwork need to be fixed.

It's just a lovely place to stay. This was our 3 or 4th time here and first after several years. It was just as good if not better than the other times. Some nice improvements too. As far as I can tell its not part of a large chain so is unique. Staff are always pleasant and this time there was no lingering for tips for the simplist of tasks. The hotel has a good connection to a taxi / driver company which offers a good price for a day hire. All in all a great hotel.

Bathrooms/showers can be a little cleaner and cubicle a little more water tight. Both rooms booked had wet floors after the first user. Missed the live band in the restaurant.

Awesome hotel, courteous staff, excellent location, smiley people. While the hotel has everything 5 *, they do have 2 MAJOR problems hence I have reduced their one star 1. Swimming pool without temperature control which is extremely important during winters to avoid falling sick. During our visit in last week of December, it was icy cold hence Management should have planned for temperature control water. 2. Cafeteria or breakfast place was running out of food and cutlery due to rush. Being such a great hotel, how can you imagine that you don't have food, TEA during breakfast time itself. We were in a situation when food is available but no cutlery and vice versa. It was the case for 3 days by the way during our stay.

No Wi-Fi for almost two days! Restaurant went to pot when the manager wasn’t in….. slow service, struggled to make each other understood, lots of staff stood around doing nothing when there were plates that needed clearing etc. was dirty at breakfast time on our last day. A spill on floor didn’t get wiped up, ran out of plates Pool was cold and soulless…… needs some Work! Nothing like the photos Got ripped off by taxi driver who was arranged through the hotel… not much but still not acceptable

Good location,free wifi,Buffet Breakfast.Choice of Restaurants/Bar.Air con.Restaurants dining times are good.Modern bathroom/Smart bedrooms.Water/Tea/Coffee making Room facility.Bathroom toiletries.Food Quality is good.Good menu choice.

No airport shuttle.Wifi signal is weak & constantly fails(log off/log on).Fruit juices/soft drinks/water need ice & to be served cold.Buffet hot food is not always hot.Western menu choices could be improved.

Providing a quick solution. My first problem in the room was solved. The phone was not working due to a device malfunction. I was very upset with the gum which stuck in phone by staff to fix the phone.The second problem was that fresh tea was not served. It was reported and changed. At the restaurant during breakfast, I noticed that the in live station chef was not wearing gloves and was moving around comfortably and touching things other than food.

Food is amazing 😻.the menu had lots of varities ,few items were infant friendly like oats ,ragi porridge,broken wheat , Some dishes were not spicy which we could offer my 11 months old baby . The staffs were very friendly too.well behaved .

Rooms could be lil more neater .sofas were lil dusty .vaccuming would be better but over all its clean and good .room service available anytime 24*7 no matter if it's for food or cleaning the room

Breakfast was exceptionally good Especially the fresh Dosa & Idlis with mouth watering chutneys steal the show Aman & the team were very supportive in providing what is needed to each & every guest You will surely sacrifice your sleep to have this lovely breakfast

Location is in the center of city with all the facilities around The moment you step out of the hotel you have all kinds of public transport available There are many restaurants & utility shops within 5 to 10 mins walking distance Swimming Pool is very clean with only 41/2 ft. height, You can enjoy with your children

Fantastic comfortable stay in the Golconda Hotel in the heart of City-Hyderabad Excellent facilities with super cordial staff are always ready to help with a smile. Exceptional hospitality will make you feel happy and visit again and again. The breakfast spread is superb, with freshly prepared food. We had lots of fun. It's expensive but worth it. We are going to revisit The Golconda Hotel properties. I appreciated the front office staff's fantastic hospitality, especially Miss Tusharika. Miss Ritu Mr. Shravan Ushasi They were super courteous and treated us with respect and generosity.

Everything was just excellent.
