We stayed here for 4 nights, so the virsat mahal quickly felt like home to us during our stay in jaipur. the first night we checked into a room in which the ac did not work, and the staff kindly relocated us to a room of similar size/value that had a working ac. the room was very comfortable and big enough to feel like more than just a hotel room, but like an apartment. the bathrooms are less than luxurious, but you come to expect this after traveling for so long. there are very heavy traffic sounds coming from just outside, as the hotel is on a main street. it does die down a bit late at night, but it also resumes very early in the morning. we were okay with this, but perhaps for someone who has difficulty falling asleep with loud noises.. this may not be the right choice. the staff was very helpful, arranging tuk tuks for us a few times at very fair prices. it is walking distance to many great restaraunts and sites as well; the hawa mahal is literally around the corner. (and a fantastic bakery across the street)

the wifi is a little spotty. sometimes works really great, and sometimes doesnt work at all.

We had a lovely stay-rooms are clean & common areas are also clean. The staff was kind and accommodating and helped us arrange for our laundry to be done, book a driver back to Delhi, and helped up make a call to Japan Airlines in New Delhi due to a scheduling change we needed to make. Anytime we needed anything, the staff was there to assist us. Upon check-in, they showed us two different rooms that we could choose from which was very nice of them. The room was clean, the water was hot (remember you must turn on the water heater ~5 min before you wish to shower), and the bed was comfortable after a long day. The air conditioner was cold and Wifi worked well enough to stream Netflix from our laptop in the evenings. There are a few good ATM's just across the hotel and a short walk past local vendors has you at Hawa Mahal. Their breakfast buffet is simple but you can also order an egg omelet and they'll have it ready in ~10 min. Remember, this is India so you will hear noise from the street during the day/evening hours. For a budget hotel, this is worth the money.

The hotel echo's due to the indoor atrium/courtyard. Expect to hear noise, this is India after all.

The staff speaks english well which the accent is understandable (cuz we are not english native speaker). They are friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and The room decoration was beautiful. Elevator is well maintenanced and looks luxurious. The location is near Hawa Mahal, ATM is 10 meter away. There was indian food shop in the front hotel.

No tooth paste and tooth brush, but no problem because we already bring our own.

I visited with the family and this property is centrally located quite close to Hawa Mahal, Johari Bazar and other popular locations. The manager allowed us to keep luggage at reception for the day after check out. The staff at this hotel was amicable and room service was nice and quick.

The staff was very kind, polite, helpful and friendly. The manager gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room when we arrived and he helped us get a taxi to the railway stadion when we were leaving. The man responsible for the restaurant/ room food service was always cheerful, helpful and very kind. We always left the restaurant after the breakfast with a smile. The breakfast was good, the offered both Indian (poha, aloo paratha) and western ( cornflakes with milk, omlette) options. The room cleaning was very good. The room was peaceful and quiet (room not facing the street). The hotel is located in a beautiful heritage building, very close to City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar. There are same shops, bakery etc. nearby. The metro stadion Badi Chaupar is about 15 min walking distance from the hotel.

There was sometimes an unpleasent small in the bathroom and sometimes water was leaking from under the toilet.

Hotel staff were really helpful. Boarding point of my bus to Delhi was confusing so they helped me to call the bus company and asked them. Also they told the taxi driver exactly where to drop me and made sure the price was reasonable. Without their help it would be difficult for me to communicate with both the bus company and taxi driver. So big big thanks to them!

Awesome palacial hotel. Large spacious rooms with art decor on the ceiling and everywhere. Staff were great and delivered our breakfast early on days we were leaving the hotel before breakfast time. Great location close to everywhere

Very clean room, rather quiet and with a beautiful ceiling. Super friendly, professional and helpful staff. Good tasty breakfast, of the Indian type. Location near major sightseeing points and in track to the Amer Fort and the Monkey Temple. I ended up booking a second night with them, and would definitely come back here if I came back to Jaipur!

The location is just 1.5 km away from Hawa Mahal. The staff is also courteous and humble. The receptionist gave us upgraded delux room for our stay for free of cost. I would definitely recommend.

Nothing as such, everything was good.

It's a very nice hotel, with great spacious rooms and very good service whenever you need something. It's also on a good location close to some beautiful spots to visit in Jaipur.

The food at the hotel (especially dinner) was not good.
