Vedic village is a wonderful place to get out of the big city and relax in the nature. We chose to visit the place during a weekday as we were told the place is much more crowded during the weekends. The rooms are spacious and the restaurants have a wide variety of food. We however found some parts of the village not very tidy. A small effort can make the whole experience very memorable.

Some parts of the Vedic village were not very clean. While it is understandable that keeping such a big area in the best condition is not an easy task, minor efforts can make the experience of the visitors much more pleasing. We booked through the website for the traditional lunch in a mud house and when we went there, we were told that the website had overcharged us!

The room was very spacious neat and clean! Good food and the ambience too, but issue with the bathroom floor water outlets! I felt somehow drainage system is bit poor! The floor water remains for a long time Unless the staff comes to clean, I don't know about other rooms!

Food quality was good but quantity is less according to the price! And it is not centrally AC! The rooms are quite far from the reception and it's open...incase if you need to go for a party to somewhere in monsoon or summer you either get drenched in rain or in sweat. It's good if we visit this property in winter only! Rest everything is fine!

Breakfast buffet was excellent. However, I had asked for a high chair for my infant son (3 times), at breakfast, which never arrived.

The property offered outdoor activities for its guests which we were not permitted to use. The guard at the designated area just wouldn’t let us enter. He asked us to visit Aqua Club where the attendant wasn’t the most hospitable kind. He questioned me as if I was a freeloader. The other staffs at the reception and the bell boy were very hospitable and courteous.

Loved the way the resort uses nature to give a countryside experience so close the city. the activities are good and the place is excellent for a brief staycation amidst nature. Restaurants are good (although a bit pricey for the portion sizes served),and the rooms are delightful!

Every activity is a bit steeply charged.. 200 for 30mins of cycling that aren't all that well maintained. Even the sauna and steam room are chargeable surprisingly.. the ayurvedic services are extremely expensive, way above the charges levied by some of the popular 5-stars in Kolkata.

The location and the vibe of the property is quite serene and picturesque. The staff is super courteous and polite. The private lake view villas were very comfortable and luxurious.

A few more activities could be added for kids like rabbits watching duck feeding. Also few informative sessions for kids could be introduced.

We like everything from Room, location, breakfast, room service better. Chargeable services, food, things were little on the expensive side as per the property but overall it was a good experience. People who wants me time for meditation, for new business ideas, this is the best place. You can be near to nature all the time.

Go for Lake View Villa, beautiful and scenic view from the room. Breakfast is Very Good.

Pest Control needs to be done at property more often, there were lizards and insects outside the room. Distance from reception to room is quite long since the property is very big. Early check in will not be given in spite of any request or source, Very few staff as compared to the size of property. Only one person has a burden to look into check in checkout, staff should be increased. Food is expensive as compared to quality and quantity.

I was very pleased by the selection of breakfast items (especially the Indian cuisine), the quality and taste! Really satisfied with the service of the staff as well.

No internet connection in the bungalows , which isn’t a bad thing if one wants to have quality time with one’s family , in true sense . But for some , it might be an issue. When I asked for an alternative , it turned out to be quite expensive, so I didn’t take it. I was glad that I had family members with Indian mobile number and excellent 4G connection.

Room and breakfast was good.

There are no kids play area. Area which is provided is very small and even the kids zone is too small. It was my kids birthday who turned 4 yrs, there should have been people who should have made it special.

Well there is always room for improvement and I am sure the management will consider that with feedback from various other visitors and guests.
