Young Monk Hostel has the most accommodating and helpful staff be it cleaning, management, and in-house kitchen staff, and great internet connectivity. The property is very clean and hygienic. The in-house cafe serves home-cooked food and has amazing taste (DJ bhai +1 here). The people managing the property make it an amazing experience. Place has its own homely vibe with a mountain view outside and a great ambiance inside. High-speed wifi if you are doing WFH. Thanks everyone for being amazing hosts. Will visit soon

I've seen a fair share of awesome hosts, but I don't think I have met anyone before who goes as overboard as sunny bhai. Sunny absolutely made sure that "vibe bana rahe". Also special mention to Vishal bhai from mars monkeys who kept us company. Gary and gang for the supreme holi party and more... Sibha and lallan for all the help and food... Also other individuals (nilay, Rishi, Subham... ) jinhone time spend kiya and mujhe idhar udhar ghumaaya... Man ye stay to core memory wala ho gaya! 20/10!! Milte hai kabhi Jibhi me sunny brooo.

I stayed in the private room. Must say the room was tidy and spacious. Host Dhananjay bhaiya and Roma di assisted and accompanied in every way possible. The team Om, Arpit bhai were helpful and polite. Food was very tasty and reasonable. Above all loved loved meeting their pets Dumdum and Luna. Very friendly and playful 🖤 Also an ideal and peaceful environment to work from mountains. Thank you and best wishes. Would love to visit again.

location is very good !!! easy to go and visit old Manali area by walk and beautiful river can be seen from the terrace of the hostel !! cafe food is really awesome specially Kadak chai !!! all the foods are available at very reasonable rates !! Me and my husband had a great stay !!! Room was very neat & clean when we arrived!!! property Owners are very humble .. they communicate like friends !!! highly recommended !!!

I stayed here for five days and I had a great time here. I was kind of skeptical about the internet speed as I was on a workcation but I must say I did not face any issue at all and was able to do my work smoothly. The food here was delicious and very reasonably priced (we tried different food outlets in Manali and we got disappointed at most of the places). Mutton Keema I had here was fabulous. Roma and Djay are two amazing people running this beautiful hostel and they are super helpful as well. They have two cute dogs Luna and dumdum with whom you can chill all day long even if you are not going out for sightseeing in Manali.

There is nothing which I didn't like. It was all good.

Young Monk is the best in town ... You will find many good hostels in Manali but the food here is the best, very delicious which you cannot find in Manali and reasonably priced. Rooms are tidy and maintained. High speed wifi if you are doing WFH. There are 2 friendly dogs as well luna and dumdum 🐾 they brighten up your stay a thousand times. Location is also good as it is near to every place but secluded from the road hustle bustle. The room was neat and clean, all in all this hostel was a very good experience.

The owner is fantastic! He is helpful and will personally take care of your stay. We booked a room which was big and spacious. Clean and spacious bathroom!

The location is a bit uphill and no proper sign boards to reach the property! Even you won't find 'Young Monk Hostel' sign board on their small single entry gate, this was strange!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms, beds and bathrooms are clear. The bunker beds have curtains. There is a dressing room right outside bathroom. That is a very nice addition to rooms. The WiFi is really good. They have backup WiFi as well. Speed is around 250mbps. Ample sockets in the cafe. The food is also tasty, especially sandwiches. Two welcoming dogs named Dumdum and Luna.

The outdoor sitting of the cafe has many flies. The indoor sitting is slightly dusty.

Good staff , comfortable stay , good facilities, good food ! You will find amazing crowd , lot of stories and good vibes and absolutely amazing host Harshad . They also have 2 cutest friendly pets luna & dum dum

All the facilities, the host and the managers. Djay bhai, Rautan, Aryaman. They all are so sweet and helpful. I would say this is the best hostel in Manali. They really know how to host the guests with the good gesture.
