I stayed at The Hosteller in Delhi on two occasions. The first was upon arriving in India, where I was promptly greeted at the reception and all the procedural aspects were explained to me before quickly being escorted to my room. Since I only spent two nights and the entire day exploring the city, I didn't make use of the facilities. However, it's worth noting that there is a specific time for using hot water for showers, which may be the only aspect that caught my attention negatively. On my second visit, I had more time to utilize the facilities. I spent a considerable amount of time in the reception area, dining area, and basement. The basement, besides being cozy, is very spacious and good for resting. The dining area may not be large, but it is sufficient to accommodate many people and to have a quality meal. The hostel's menu is diverse, and the food is of high quality. For someone like me who wasn't accustomed to Indian cuisine, I tried various dishes from the menu and found the preparation to be of quality and the food flavorful. It's definitely worth trying, especially considering that the prices are fair and affordable. In summary, I highly recommend anyone passing through Delhi to stay at this establishment of high quality, cleanliness, and with highly prepared staff to welcome you as a tourist and visitor to the fascinating city of New Delhi.
Pre-determined times for taking hot showers.

In general it is a nice place, but it doesnt have this warm backpacking vibe. Also, it was not possible to pay via booking.com and they sent me a separate link to do the payment, which didn't work for me and my Indian friend had to help me with that. In the hostel you have to order everything (like food etc) via their app which makes more troubles with the payment. I tried to contact the hostel multiple times prior my arrival via email and WhatsApp, but never got any reply. The staff working there is friendly and beds were comfy.

The Hosteller Delhi is well located to explore the rest of the city. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the food at the restaurant was delicious. There are a couple of common areas to hang out and meet new people.
The WiFi was a bit volatile and the hostel is right next to a petrol station and noisy road with cars and trucks beeping their horns throughout the night. The basement common space was also quite dark and the projector for the TV was on max volume which made it difficult to work/read/relax

The staff at The Hosteller are very welcoming and very helpful, which is really pleasant when arriving in India. The hostel is well located and the rooms are generally clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is delicious and there are plenty of common areas to relax and meet other travellers.
The rooms are a little run down and you will need earplugs to block out the noisy road and petrol station just next door with drivers beeping their horns throughout the night. The rooms aren't very soundproof either, so conversations in corridors and common areas travels. The basement common area was also dark and had the TV volume was maxed out when I went down there which made working and socialising challenging.

My husband and i checked into here immediately after checking into a previous hotel that was in a pretty shady part of Dehli. I’m so happy we came here after that experience!! The hostel staff is so nice and helpful, they really make this place great. The downstairs area has a cafe where you can order breakfast/lunch/dinner and they have many options. All the food we received was so delicious. The hostel is next to a gas station that has many drinks and snacks to offer as well.
The area is near a metro station but we primarily took Tuktuks. The area is much safer than the previous area we were in but not so beautiful. Our room was very clean with nice towels for the shower. The AC stopped working on our last night but it was amazing for our previous days.

The hostel is in a good position, the water is hot and the sheets and the rooms are clean. Moreover the restaurant is very good and clean and you can taste different dishes for a very good price without the risk of a "Delhi belly". Also the managment is very reliable and kind and they can give you good advices about New Delhi.
The check in phase is quite complicated because you have to use your phone. Considering that is a website for sure the process can be improved. Also the internet connection is not always stable.

Super clean, spacious, 200meters walking distance to metro station (Ashram station on the Pink line). The hostel is at a distance of 5km from hazrat nizamuddin railway station by road, by metro its just 1 stop. The staff was courteous & helpful, water stations were available at each floor. I stayed with my family including 2 seniors and even they loved the atmosphere. The hostel has lifts & there is a 24*7 convenience store in the petrol station right next to the hostel. Loved the cleanliness. Had a very comfortable stay.

I went to The Hosteller in Rishikesh and Mussorie and i had a good experience (except if people in the room are disrespectful and make a lot of noise, thing that happened in Rishikesh and Delhi... but it's not the hotel's fault) The temperature was very good thanks to the AC. The comfort of the bed and the pillow was very good also. We can have free water. The bathroom and the room were pretty clean. Near to the metro station.
I asked for a lower bed and the hostel told me it was ok. But when i was almost asleep (around 9:30pm), a woman came to me and asked for my bed because she was afraid to climb the bed, she prefered the lower bed... I accepted but the hotel should have taken care of that and directly give me the right bed...

The hostel was clean and well-maintained, even way better than some hostels in Europe. It is right next to a convenience store and a short tuktuk or uber ride to some attractiojs. The AC was working 24/7 and wifi was fast and reliable. In house resto served delicious and affordable meals. Special mention to Ashish who went above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of.
Only thing I did not like was my bed sheets which felt dusty so I reqyested for a fresh one. Otherwise, everything else was excellent.
