The location and the views are just so so amazing. The staff are courteous and warm and welcoming. We enjoyed the trip with the whole family mostly because of the exotic location.

The maintenance of the heritage suites hasn’t been done well. The bathtubs looked dirty and the taps didn’t work well. They leaked from all sides and the shower didn’t work. We had to wait for so long after turning in the taps for hot water. The terrace was dirty for half of our stay. The food was unnecessarily exorbitant and wasn’t of that good a quality. They refused to make special baby food for my infant. We only requested for a plain khichdi and they said no. This was the worst part.

The staff was very friendly. the property is on island and the major part of the island is trekking trails. There're no restrictions for guests and they can roam around anywhere and find their peaceful spots. A must visit in monsoon season, just be careful of insects. P.s. The bar is amazing.

The food could be better.

the location is good..no problem with transportation as jetty is always available,staff is cooperative and friendly,place is well maintained,food was great too, we stayed for a bit long but did not feel bored at all as every possible facility was given…i really enjoyed my stay there and would highly recommend it too..love and regards!

It was picturesque and beautiful gardens. There was a bonfire almost every evening. The staff were helpful. I liked the camel ride and a rowing boat ride in the evening

Traditional property in need of updating. The food was average, limited and repeated. The jacuzzi had not been used for a while and it had green elegy on the walls. The gym was full of dust.

Location gives a lot of peace. Really responsive staff. Views all around. Did make lunch and dinner according to our taste. Rooms were spacious .Luggage transfer was seamless excellent boat rides and great indoor facilities. Villas are great and recommended for couples than the deluxe rooms.

Rooms and Toiletries seemed a little worn off. But that is expected as it is completely surrounded by water. Though it seemed some rooms were more worn off then others so would be good to have equal rooms.

It's an amazing property, pls explore. We need to support such amazing locations. Help them do great business to make it a way better location and services. Food is amazing and the staff is amazingly helpful.

The best thing about this property is the location. Its an island in the middle of a humungous lake (the largest man made lake in the world at one point). You can get to the property only by a boat so thats testimony of what a beautiful location. Jaisamand has probably gone past its prime when we went in 2022 Jan, however the location and the surroundings are absolutely amazing. Specially when we went the weather put up a show with solid 15ºC days and a pleasant cloud cover. Jaisamand as a property and rooms was designed with some vision however now it seems to be treated as a step hotel. It still has amazing facilities including a mind blowing spa, but the rooms and the maintenance has seen better days. Additionally, when we went there the chef was on leave so their best dishes weren't the best. If you enjoy nature, exploring and walking around some beautiful ruins this place is definitely a must visit. The forest safari is absolutely amazing, you may not see too much wildlife but the landscape and birds are amazing (Try and go there during migratory season). Overall if you're not someone who fusses over the fanciness of the property and are fine as long as the property is nice a definite must visit, if you like your luxuries then best to give this a miss. They also have an amazing massage parlour and a must visit if you enjoy some indulgence PS: If you enjoy an occasional drink definitely check out the bar on the property, even though the drinks are overpriced, the decor and the service is quite decent.

The property is past its prime, the building needs renovation, the staff are a little seasoned and not as enthusiastic, and the facilities are quite run down in some parts. however the location is an absolute gold mine

Location awesome. In the middle of a LARGE LAKE. Forested areas. Pristine. Definitely better setting than expected. The resort is also majestically set.

The room we had needs to be improved or renovated. Meals good but average in terms of display, cutlery and service by Indian hotel standards. Staff were friendly

The place is exotic but pricey. Ofcourse, no match near by. Free boating , camel ride( but now I guess Camel person indirectly asks for money??). Location is really good...staff are nice.

I visited here for 3 days. I liked the hospitality here from all the staff. Food is also awesome with different menu for all the 3 days I liked it very much. Location is also the best.
