Exceptional great staff. Birender was very kind and even arranged for a hair dryer when I got drenched in rain . also a timely cab to airport the location is great 9 min to Ghats and around 12 min to Kashi Vishwanath temple. the food was great . They recently opened their own restaurant would surely book it next time

Recently got an opportunity to stay at this property for one night, however the stay was certainly one of the most memorable one. The welcome itself was pretty grand & you can sense the warmth of the people just by stepping inside. The best thing was in evry think were new and glossy. Would certainly look forward to visit again. :)

Location was very good taking into considertaion the Viswanathar temple which is walking distance and many other temples surrounding this temple. Shopping facilities was also good around the area of the hotel and tuk-tuk available easily to move around the town. Special mention of the Manager Brindle who was ever so helpful and very pleasant and accomodative to our needs. The staff also was helpful and friendly. Kudos to the manager who has got very good rapport with the staff and most importantly the customers. Take this opportunity to extend our thanks and gratitude to all who had been serving us during our stay. Wishing you all great success of the hotel. Just a suggestion that a proper cafetaria be added to the hotel mainly for breakfast and light refreshments.

As part of the contrasts of Varanasi, next to one of the most crowded and lively streets in the heart of the city there is a quiet and peaceful place where you can find rest after an intense day out. At the reception you will find very friendly personell, they will provide you with all the information and support you may need, they know themselves in the city and will give you the best tips for your visit. The dorm is very spacious, beds are very well organized and so comfortable. I had one of my best sleeps there. Lockers are also big enough to fit your luggage or backpack. Filtered water is available. I totally recommend Namaste Benares for your stay!

The staff was amazing. The Hotel Manager was very helpful, providing us with useful information and tips. He genuinely cared about our experience in the city. We visited during a festival, which made transportation to the airport quite challenging. However, he arranged everything and even escorted us to the car, as it couldn't enter the hotel area due to the large crowds in the city at that time. Despite being located in a very busy area (near the Bazaars and main Ghats), the hotel was surprisingly quiet.

There is little to mention, perhaps the fact that the terrace is not fully functional, or at least not to the same extent as the other services in the hotel.

We have an extremely pleasing experience in staying in the hotel Namaste Benares. I would highly recommend it to my fellow travellers. It has its fantastic location and marvellous service. Very near to the Dashashwamedh Ghat and Kashi Vishwanath Temple. All civic amenities are nearby. The services that the hotel management provides are spectacular in one word. The rooms were spacious, well furnished and the bathrooms were sophisticated. Cleanliness and discipline is strictly maintained. The front-desk of the hotel was always ready to help us whenever we asked for. It is one of the most budget friendly hotels in the city, with one of the best dormitories, too, for the youth and solo travellers.

This was one of our outstanding experiences not just in Benares but many a place that I travelled in recent decades. The accommodation, the location, the cleanliness, the services, the front-desk cooperation, the discipline, and the affordability of price - altogether the hotel "Namaste Benares" was fabulous! I was quite helpless on reaching the holy city with my wife and 70 years old mother-in-law, suffering from pain and difficulty in walk owing to acute osteoporosis. But in each single inch the hotel management helped us to arrange our travelling the city, arranging wheelchairs and booking our Tatkal return tickets. Without their help Darshan could never be possible. There services were such cozy and selfless that we felt quite at home. I didn't find any of the hotel staff to be unprofessional. They strictly maintained professional discipline and helped with smiling face like close relatives.

I cannot remember even a single negative point to mention that may go against the hotel. There was a constant power cut due to the ongoing workers' strike in the city. But the hotel provided us incessant power supply with their generator.

The location of the property is great. The hotel itself is not accessible by vehicle as it’s located in one of the narrow and busy lanes of old town Varanasi(Its more the nature of city than location of hotel). The staff was good and happy to help. They helped us pick up luggages, answered questions, resolved any minor hiccups related hot water was resolved quickly. We were a family of 6 and stayed in 3 different rooms and in all rooms amenities were good.

It did not have a kitchen of its own due to staff shortage but the location of hotel is such that you have lot of eateries around.
