I am always impressed with the hospitality of hotels in Indonesia, but I thought that Aston Pasteur pushed it up to another level. My peers and I were so impressed with particularly the staff at the hotel. Something is done right, I believe. The staff is top notch professional. All of them (not one or two) are serving guests from their hearts. The breakfast spread is impressive. You have a free flowing fresh juice bar. And there are staff walking around asking guests if they would like some omelette. The location to me is great! It is in a quiet area, not busy as the shopping districts but at the same not far from tourist attractions (with transportation). But if you ask me. What makes this hotel special. I would say again and again- it is the staff. (We checked in into a hotel in Jakarta, after Aston, and we felt neglected. That is how much the staff at Aston has pampered us. Hotel location in Bandung was very good - on the main road but a bit away from city bustle. Very close to a nice mall where we went for dinner in the night we arrived from Jakarta. The hotel is also a short taxi ride from the Bandung railway station from where we travelled to the hotel. The room (family room) was excellent with two beds - one large & one single for our comfortable stay with family (my wife & son). The breakfast spread was very good. The bathroom was spacious & good. The room had a nice view of the road outside.

There is an opaque glass wall between bathroom & room that could be eliminated or at least an extra curtain can be provided over that.

1. EXCELLENT customer service from all staff across all departments. Extremely polite, accommodating & professional. 2. Rooms were spacious and clean. Housekeeping team did an amazingly thorough job of keeping the room spick & span on a daily basis. 3. Breakfast spread was simply incredible. Beautiful setup with great choices and options for all ages.

Of the 3 elevators in the main lobby that serviced all floors, only 2 were working throughout our 5-night stay, which made the waiting time really long.

Our stay at this spacious, immaculate hotel was fantastic. The staff were exceptional, making our early morning check-in smooth and welcoming. The breakfast buffet offered an extensive selection, catering to all tastes. Our room was both clean and roomy, with outstanding housekeeping services. The hotel's location is conveniently close to a mall, making it easy to catch a taxi or explore the area. Thank you for a wonderful experience; we loved our stay!

The food is so delicious I had a lamb curried fried rice, the room is really nice and good value for the money. The staffs are helpful, attentive and friendly. The room and environment are clean and smells nice. The view is nice too, we got a good one overlooking the street and views of the part of Bandung.

I had none. Since I don't have certain expectations during the stay, but it was really comfortable. I had a good night sleep and the food for room service was really delicious beyond my expectations. The room was a bit, well, enough for the price I pay but not so bad. Overall, I'm satisfied with our stay here at ASTON. Be it I don't experience facilities such as Gym and Spas. The Jacuzzi was not available at that time (during the weekends or weekdays I forgot), but no problem with it.

The breakfast was superb!! I really love the breakfast spread at this hotel. Taste was really good. They even have sandwich corner where you can order sandwich to your liking. But the next day they changed the sandwich corner to bread toast. I managed to get their specialty "Roti Bakar Bandung" which is very delicious. And for the kids corner, they even have yogurt ice cream with strawberry syrup topping, candies spread, and cotton candy!! They served cotton candy upon request. The kids really enjoy the breakfast here.

We stayed at level 10 and surprisingly they were mosquitoes in the room. However the problem solved as the next day we requested some mosquito spray. And we can sleep soundly on the following night.

We like it that the hotel close to the exit toll road from Jakarta. We are party of 2, room is spacious for us, good big window to allow natural lights come in. I also like that the room can be dark during the night - make it easier for sleep. TV has many channels and good reception. Wifi is also strong. Breakfast has many variety, my mum enjoys the breakfast very much. Staff is also very helpful with my mum in wheel chair.

I thought ASTON group committed to environment and provided water dispenser in each hallway. But not this ASTON. So I have to ask at the restaurant to fill in my water bottle. Would have been nice if you are committed to environment by providing water dispenser in each floor and water jug in each room. At the breakfast room, small spoon should be made available for coffee/tea. I can still smell cigarrettes smokes in the 7th floor - not nice. Bathroom could have been upgraded with extra hand towels. Bathroom door could use a little maintenance so that not too heavy for my weak mum. She has to be helped everytime she wants to go to the bathroom.

It took about 15-20 min up and down the floor as lifts are not enough. On Dec 26, I was waiting for more than 20 min to wait the lift to the ground level for check out. Eventually, I saw more than 10 customers walked down the stairs through the emergency stairs, and I also followed this route for exit because the lift never stop at 3rd floor after more than 20 min waiting. It is always long queue in front of the lifts.

The bellboy, receptionist, server, and room service teams all demonstrated superb professionalism.The breakfast experience was particularly delightful, with a superb selection that exceeded my expectations.

Firstly, the lift system appeared slow and lacked a centralized approach, causing delays and inconvenience. Secondly, during breakfast near the coffee station, there was an issue with water dripping from the ceiling onto our food. This raised some uncertainty about the source and cleanliness of the water.

Very clean and comfortable hotel with excellent value for money. Staff very friendly. Excellent breakfast!! Really enjoyed the large selection of breakfast buffet- theres something for everyone; even a cotton candy machine (a real hit among my kids!)

Basic facilities. Only two treadmills and one treadmill in gym wont go above 8km/h.
