The staff are excellent. The room is comfortable. The breakfast has a good choice and is delicious. The laundry facilities are extremely useful when travelling - we used the washing machine and dryer a lot. The location is superb and close to many attractions and restaurants.

Nothing really - the staff made my stay very enjoyable. I was impressed that they had responded to my comments last time I stayed in 2023 and improved things - especially my comment on artificial light in the room when sleeping - thank you so much, Stanley!

Well situated, clean room, upgraded to window view however that means construction site but I do appreciate natural light! Amazing that they provide free laundry self service option including supplies! Friendly and helpful staff. Good value!

The breakfast as mentioned by many others is not good for westerners nor the location . Since this is a constant them in reviews it might be worth addressing and adding options as otherwise I would have given a 10! I didn’t even bother going down the second day ….

I stayed at the Stanley Boutique Hotel upon first arriving in Jakarta (also my first time in Indonesia), and the experience was excellent! I was initially nervous about how I would reach the hotel from the airport, but the staff were incredibly helpful with arranging a taxi for me through the Golden Bird (part of Bluebird) service. My room was very nice: very clean, it had an excellent bathroom, strong AC, and it was very chic too. The breakfast as well was great and it came included with our room. Another important point: the location was perfect. The hotel is very centrally located, so you're near many shops, restaurants, and sites for sightseeing, and it's very safe. Plus, there are also taxis circling through the area, so it's incredibly easy to flag one down if you're trying to get somewhere farther away, or ask one of the hotel staff for help, they can also flag down a taxi with ease. My friend and I had such a great experience staying here that we decided to return for our last night in Jakarta before heading home at the end of our trip.

I arrived to the friendly welcome of the staff, especially Mr Reza who upgraded my room from a windowless one to one with a window. He was also helpful with queries I had and also arranged for a late check-out (available for an hour). The room was generally clean and basic amenities were provided, it's a functional option amidst the many options around the area. The hotel's proximity to Jalan Sabang and Sarinah Mall are plus points with public transport available within a 10-minute walk.

While the room and toilet are generally clean, there is some visible mould in the shower but this won't affect the experience too much. Another minor niggle would be the slight sewage that rises when you switch on the shower, despite being on the highest floor. The smell is brief and shouldn't bother you after a moment.

Central location, close to street food and malls at walking distance. Staff is really nice, from checkin to cleaning personel. I felt safe during my staying there. Breakfast has many options and it's good. Free laundry service(perfect for backpackers like us). Room was clean.

Ciggarete smell in the bathroom almost all the time. Room had no window. Although the idea with the fake window was nice, it still felt akward.

cleaning is outstanding with aromatic smell in the lift and corridors. 3 star hotel with fair breakfast. Staff specially Kiki and Tegar were very helpful and cooperative so special thanks to them. Although room is being small but well laid out and bathroom and linens very clean. malls and local markets are walking distance from wahid Hasyim street.

little expensive but value for many better than some 4 star hotels I stayed in.

I initially stayed here upon first arriving in Jakarta at the beginning of my trip to Indonesia in mid-October, and my friend and I had such a great experience staying here that we decided to return for our last night in Jakarta before heading home at the end of our trip. As I mentioned in my first review of the hotel, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and both rooms we stayed in were just the right size for us (two travelers). The breakfast is great and the location can't be beat (central, safe, convenient for travelers). Moreover, the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. I felt that they always went above and beyond to accommodate us, whether by booking taxis for us or stowing our luggage after checkout and ahead of our flight. I would definitely stay here again if I were to return to Jakarta!

We had a fantastic stay at Stanley Wahid Hasyim Jakarta. Everything was clean and proper, and the bed was comfy. The location was good, and close to the happening area of the city with plenty of street food and restaurants nearby. For the price, it was excellent value.

Nothing big, just a couple of small things. We didn't have any shampoo in our room. The "window" was a little weird - it did not connect to the outside, but rather a little shelf that had some plants and lights that cannot be turned off. There isn't much touristy things to do in Jakarta, but that's the city and has nothing to do with the hotel.

Lack of windows, lack of wardrobe closet and breakfast options which could make a more pleasant stay. About breakfast, even the supplied food can lack if you arrive by the end of the scheduled hours. I don't find it normal that at 9:15 you don't serve any more omelette if your breakfast hours end at 10 AM. You should organize your supplies more efficient.

Everything!... specially the whole friendly Team including Housekeeping 🙂. There is a road not far from Hotel, after the first Traffic light (turn right) with plenty possibilities to eat on the road (at night). Besides a few Shopping Centres, the area could be not better to stay in Jakarta 😀!. If I will come again to Jakarta, Sure! I will stay again!... I can recommend to European!, Hotel standard is the same like in Europe!.

The Breakfast is more for Indonesian and Chinese people 😉... in the Morning I never eat that type of food... that type of food is according to me for Lunch 🙂. But anyway it was all OK!.
