The staff is simply the best, so nice, welcoming, helpful, making everyone feels special and at home.. i don't have words to describe it ! The place is super clean and confortable and with everything you would need. The bathroom of the dorm was big, spotless and brand new compared to the usual ones. The dorm itself was big, super clean.. The hang out area, in the patio, is comfortable and will allow you to chat easily with other guest, with the staff members.. sometimes for hours !

It is not a critic about the place itself, but just to help next travellers : in Malang people arrive late or get up super early, because of the tours around the city (Bromo, Sewu...). So don't forget your earplugs, also because the place can have some eccho because of its beautiful hight celeings :)

It was the cleanest hotel/hostel I've ver been to. Seriously, it was super clean! Moreover, the stuff was super friendly and helpful. They prepared iced beverages when we came back from the trips. Additionally, our room was super big and we had plenty of space to work. At the beginning we thought there was no one in the hotel, because it was so quite. It is very helpful especially when you need some rest after coming bak from the waterfall or Bromo. The neighbourhood was really nice with many restaurants and colourful houses in a walking distance.

I loved everything about this hostel! It’s extremely clean, well located, nice dorm room and lots of social areas. The staff are so so friendly and helpful and were able to answer all of my questions. I booked onto the Bromo trip and the waterfall and both were amazing. There are lots of places to eat nearby and the area is super safe to walk around. Met lots of amazing people here, everyone was up for chatting and sharing tips.

Nothing - everything was perfect Only suggestion would be that a WhatsApp group could be a good idea so people could join up if they were doing something or to share ideas

The property itself was enough for backpackers who are travelling from one place to another! The people were out of this world when it comes to friendliness, kindess and helpfulness!! They contacted us trough whatsapp upfront to check if everything was okay! They arranged a 3day-2night tour for us to visit Tempak Sewu waterfalls, bromo and ijen with a full day itinerary! The transport was all included and also to bangyuwangi (revive by snooze) and even to our next stay in bali after the tour with a ferry included as well!! Definitely worth it!

This place!!! As soon as you walk through the gate, you immediately feel welcome and at home. The staff at the reception offered us a welcome drink, gave us a tour of the hostel and were so friendly and nice. The room came with a mosquito repellent device which was a great touch, since the area is filled with mosquitoes. The room and bathroom were spotless clean (towels smelled great!), as well as the common areas, the design of the hostel is just so cute and modern, it doesn’t even seem like a hostel. It is located in a quite street, but there are plenty of restaurant options around. At night it is calm and peaceful, a perfect place to unwind and prepare for your next trip. The bed was super comfortable, we slept like babies. I could not recommend this place more, if you pass through Malang, look nowhere else!

The only thing I did not like is that I only spent one night there and I wish it could have been more :)

Firstly the staff was amazing! Super friendly, social and genuinely interested in how your day was and how they can help you. It felt like having a conversation with my friends :) Moreover, they arranged the transfer to and from Surabaya Airport for quite a cheap price and they took care of everything. They also organized the tour to Mt. Bromo for me, which was great. So far all great, and I haven’t even said anything about the hostel and the rooms. The rooms have spacious beds, safe lockers and plenty of space to leave your stuff. The in-room bathroom seems like the one of a 4-5 star hotel. Also, everything is very clean. I will definitely be back at Snooze, both in Malang and other of their locations!

The staff were SUPER friendly and always willing to help in any way - even calling another accommodation for us and speaking in Indonesian to confirm it for us! They made us very welcome and always smiled and said hello! Free water - huge plus! Thank you! Lots of comfy communal areas with sofas and kitchen. We had a private room and it was very comfortable - good air con, very comfy bed, lovely blanket, hot shower and nice bathroom! The hostel was 3 doors from a bakery and coffee shop where you get a discount for staying at snooze! They can also arrange laundry at a reasonable price - thank you!

I really like staying at Snooze. It reminded me the summer time when I was a child. Everything there is clean and the common area is cozy. I’m glad to book Snooze again in Malang after I left Yogyakarta where I stayed at Snooze for 4 nights. Un fortunately, I only booked 1 nights as it’s fully booked. They arranged the trip to the waterfall and Bromo and booked the shuttle bus ticket to Surabaya for me. Even after I checked out, still felt free to use the bathroom and common area to take a rest. Felt like at home! I really appreciate their help which made my traveling in Indonesia easier. It’s one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed. I’ll come back to Snooze if I visit Indonesia again in the future!

The staff are the highlight! They were all so kind, helpful and welcoming. They gave us lovely ice tea when we returned from the Bromo tour which was a nice touch. We booked all our tours through them and they were all great. The shared area was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The room we stayed in was perfect for the few days- comfortable bed, quiet and very clean! Highly recommend staying here!

A very reasonable and convenient accommodation. I stayed in a private room with ensuite bathroom. It is very conveniently located less than a kilometer from Malang station, lots of eateries around. The places of interest are not very far also. The hostel is clean and has a very pleasant atmosphere, there is a well-equipped kitchen available for guests to use. WiFi is good. It is easy to organise trips from the reception. The best thing about this place is the staff, a bunch of cheerful girls run the reception, they have answers to any kind of query a guest may have, they have a proactive approach and they are very helpful, they go out of the way to sort things out, if required. I had a wonderful stay in this hostel.
