Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Rooms with electric kettle and cups. Tea, coffee, and water was replenished each day. Very clean. Room size is fair. 5 mins walk from the station. City centre in convenient walking distance. Good base for exploring Medan on foot. Outstanding daily varying breakfast buffet with a wide variety of cold and cooked dishes to choose from (including spaghetti Bolognese?!). Unfortunately it was so much, it was impossible to try everything.

Rooms are noisy, but during the night the hotel was quiet and noise from the street was minimal. Some rooms have windows facing the narrow inner courtyard. Rooms "with a view" come with a surcharge an need to be explicitly booked.

Easy accces,medan centre point walking distance, station keretapi ke Kuala namu. Also walking distance just opposite medan centre point, many Muslim eatery nearby just walking, 3 days breakfast.. Menu change everyday and tasty, Indonesian cuisine. Smell fresh when enter the hotel lobby coz of their fragrance.. Really love it, because when outside the air feel like smell cigarettes and smoke, need to wear mask. Facilties good. Bath towel, toiletries provide, can make up room everyday. Friendly staff. also provide free flow of water at the lobby and they keep changing it. Many beca/rickshaw and grab for transportation. GOOD JOB all of you.

There were a few issues but irrelevant to discuss due to having the pleasure of meeting Bambang Harsoyo (room division manager), one of the most professional, understanding individuals I have come across, he demonstrated great empathy from being apologetic and resolving my issues. He upgraded my room and arranged a lovely gesture (see the image). Karibia Boutique Hotel needs to promote this man! My ratings are based upon his professionalism. Bambang is the blueprint for success for any hotel. Thank you, my friend 👊

Nice modern decor, very clean, windows to air well only, spacious, connecting room for family is available. Right next to a mall that has everything you can think of. Spa was super nice and reasonably priced - but need reservation in advance. Staff were pleasant. Cafe downstairs was great with very nice food and coffee selection. Walkable distance to Pasar Ikan and Central Market.

The reception only provide 1 key card for the room, you need to as for at least 2, because the lift needs card to go up. The area outside the hotel, facing the front was chaotic and typical.

Probably the best Room/Price Ratio and nearest to Centre Point Mall which is much calm than Sun Plaza & Podomoro. It is also near to the Train Station in which the train also goes direct to the Airport. There are seversl textiles shops at the back opposite Centre Point with reasonable price.

The Room is quite small even taking the biggest category but the price compensate it. The wall paper papers peeling off but hidden by the curtain.

The breakfast is superb. Friendly staff and sec staff. A place pleasant to stay. can obtain other requirement outside the hotel without taking transportation. All available nearby. Good house keeping staff

bad check in experience. Room wasnt ready at check in time of 3pm and your lady check in staff was 'arrogant' in her treatment of customers. Location is central but traffic jam in the vicinity can be nighmarish during peak hour

Efficient business type hotel in a great location within walking distance to the airport rail station and a large modern mall with several useful restaurants. good size rooms with very comfortable beds. Included breakfast with good Asian style buffet. good value overall

The location is very strategic. The bed was comfortable. Easy access to the mall. The staffs were very attentive. Overall good hospitality. And i fell safe walking from the train station to the hotel and to the mall.

Quite far from the city center (walk) we didnt noticed that actually the happening side is at the other side of the city (near marriot, pahlawan etc) however it is easily reachable if by grab and others.

The buffet breakfast offers many choices of dishes, and they all taste good. The beds were very comfy. Cleanliness was tip top, and the place smelt lovely. Good location nearby a shopping mall. The staff are friendly and helpful.

There was no mini fridge in the room. The musolla on the 1st floor was a bit cramped and musty.
