Highly recommend Garden Cottage! I stayed here for 2 nights, and it was one of the best places i've stayed in Indonesia. The pool is huge, and is a good central place to relax and unwind. The rooms were also large (especially the bathroom) and very good value compared to other similar Bungalows nearby. The staff are also amazing, helping me to take my suitcase to and from the next destination. The rooms also have everything you need including a desk, small wardrobe and plenty of power. The area is quite amongst nature, but only 1 street away from a street with some of the best food in Lembonagan. Also only a short walk to sunset point and dream beach.

Value for money is good. The pool is very nice.

Most of the people that works at the reception do not speak English, which makes everything a bit complicated. The breakfast included is horrible. The rooms/bathroom are not so clean. They do not organize any activities, everything is too quiet. There is no way you can meet and talk with the other guests. No bar, the pool side is with no light. It’s quite impossible to socialize, which is a bit pitty considering that it’s a hostel. It’s located close to Mushroom bay, which means is kind of far away from the main beach and if you don’t have a scooter it’s not the best. I’d rather suggest you to sleep in the north west of the island.

We loved our stay at Nusa Lembongan! The Garden Cottage hostel rooms are very spacious and comfortable. There are 2 toilets and 2 showers next to every room, which you have to share with 4 people. The bathroom was cleaned every day. Just keep in mind that there’s salt water in the shower. The pool is very clean. The sunbeds are a bit dirty. It’s very good located, close to the beaches, shops and restaurants. We rented a motor bike in the hostel (Rp. 80.000). The motor bike itself was perfect, the helmets were old and broken. They offer differents trips (like snorkelling) and arranged our pick-up and ferry from Nusa Lembongan to Sanur (Rp. 175.000).

There is no kitchen or shared space available. The breakfast was good, however it was the same breakfast every day (without options).

The staffs are hospitalized and always for help. The individual house with a spacious balcony allows enough private space. The bath room is large out side of the room. Daily room cleaning when I stayed here for three days. Clean pool in the middle of the garden. The price of tours and events offered by the hostel are reasonable and even cheaper than agency outside. Quite at night and had a good sleep here. A few kinds of breakfast options.

As a lot of plants around the place, a mouse came into my room at night, biting my food in the room, DO NOT put food in the room, can be put in fridge. A bit dark on the road when walking back at night.

Garden Cottage was my favorite place to stay during my first month in Indonesia. The apartment was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and the open-air bathroom was beautiful. The swimming pool was well taken care of, and the breakfast was tasty. The staff was helpful. I decided to prolong my stay and almost stayed there for a week. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation.

Sometimes, dogs were barking loudly, but it's absolutely not the host's fault, so it's better to bring earplugs to small islands. Also, I recommend renting a scooter, as a taxi is way more expensive than in Bali. If you are a beginner, Lembongan is also a great island to practice

Everything about this place was excellent! The grounds are beautiful and the swimming pool is one of the best I have used in my travels. Pande and his crew were welcoming and did a great job keeping the place clean, making my lovely morning breakfast, answering questions, arranging for tours and hotel pick-ups. You name it - they just take care of it. I came for 3 days and ended up staying a week.

Nothing - they are doing a great job. The room also had a fridge and coffee set up which I really appreciate.

We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Location is good if you have a bike as it it close to all the nice beaches. Our room was cleaned everyday with a top up of water. With breakfast included everyday, it is quite a cheap place. Staff are friendly.

The combination of the bathroom door not shutting properly and the AC not being powerful enough, meant the room was never cold enough unfortunately. Staff weren’t that helpful with booking a ferry so we had to go online and find one. I would recommend hiring a bike elsewhere as the one we got from the accomodation was very rundown and couldn’t make it up some hills, had no working indicators and the brakes weren’t too good going downhill.

Check-in went smoothly. The bungalow has a decent size with a big outdoor bathroom (hot shower) and a front porch. Being "everything dark wood" in the room, it is not that bright, lights are a bit on the darker side. The pool is great, enough deck chairs (cushions could do with a good cleaning), the garden is wonderfully kept. All in all I liked the place very much. Breakfast gets a bit boring after a couple of days - but not too big a problem. Please be aware that you are in the middle of nowhere. I knew and it was fine with me. But: You need transport. Either island taxo or scooter. Highly resommendable: BALO Taxi Lembongan, Taxi and scooter rental. Very nice people.

Some hotel guests need rules - and their are none visible no where. Which means other guests are communication loudly from one bungalow to the one further away not respecting other people or having a pool party in the middle of the night (after mignight) with none of the staff stepping in. Pity.

The property was clean and comfortable. The pool was great. Very quiet location but lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Loved that we could rent scooters through the property. Staff were friendly, the breakfast was basic but added bonus that it was included. We found the bed a bit too hard for our liking but this is a personal preference. Otherwise a very great place and stay, very cheap for Nusa Lembongan too! Highly recommend.

Best stay on my whole trip of SE Asia. For the price it is absolutely perfect. The team are so friendly and helpful - they can drive you places for a very reasonable fee so that you don’t have to find a taxi, and they can help you figure out any activities you want to do. The premises itself is so beautiful with lots of plants and the pool is gorgeous, with a good amount of sun loungers for everyone. The rooms are classic and clean. The bathrooms are semi open air which is really fun. There’s a la carte breakfast which is also good. I would 100% come here again if I was in this area.

For the price you pay, there is nothing to complain about. It’s an extremely minor thing but the towels are quite old. They are absolutely clean and smell great, but at some point soon they could probably do with replacing.
