The staff were the sweetest! Always willing to help. They also set up a lovely cot for our little one to sleep in as well with the cutest bedding, nice touch. The view is sensational. We were luckily the first villa up the steep steps and swam in the bottom pool as the hike up the top was too hard for us with a baby. However, in saying that, do check out the top pool at least once for the view! The best hidden beach of all of Lembongan is at the door step which was amazing and our morning ritual to have a 7am dip in the beach. We had a lovely massage at the Villas and lady was fantastic.

We will stay in a Suite next time as the Villa was a little bit dated and now looking at Suite options you do get a bit more bang for your buck. If you’re waiting on a knee reconstruction probably not the place for you but we did it with an 8 month old baby and it was so incredibly worth it. Loved the area! It is a bit out of town, however, a scooter, a $10 taxi or a golf buggy are all easily accessible options on the island.

The breakfast and the views, great location that is not too busy, don’t pay extra for the villas at the top because you’ll be kept awake by the roosters

The air air-conditioning needs an update, the water is horrible, and the top villas are really noisy due to the roosters and the bar down the road and the wifi is bad

I stayed here with my 18yr old daughter for 3 nights. The view is stunning but does require walking up a steep set of stairs, this got easier as we got fitter lol. The rooms are basic but really nice, comfy beds, bathrooms a little old and could use a bit of work. the glass sliding doors and windows across the front of the rooms are picture perfect. The pool was nice and clean and also has a great view. We hired scooters for a day from the property, easy process and good price. The best beach (in my opinion) is at the bottom of the hill and also a lovely cafe on the beach. Snorkeling can also be arranged with a number of companies, we used Made from Nila’s shop and Warung at this beach…also a great little surf break a short paddle out.

Love hate relationship with the stairs, otherwise it was great

Well I left a bit of my heart on Nusa Lembongan. Cliff Villas are ideally located, though not for the faint hearted necessarily! We shared connected villas up the top for our first 6 nights, a few steps down to the infinity pool and dining area. Then it is about 80 (steep) steps down to the reception area and the lower pool - we struggled the first few days and had to take lots of rest breaks on the way up (!) but by day 3, we were powering up and down with confidence - so good for the calves haha. Then there is a short amble down the narrow road to Coconut Beach. The other bit of my heart is there - sighs. Spent many days on a towel under the trees on Coconut Beach, best kept secret - shhhhhh.... The Beach Cafe at Lago was my go to for coffee in the morning, sometimes breakfast, morning tea and lunch too! Watch the surf breaks, hire a SUP board, me and my boys used the kayak a number of times. Just a really cute beach with great food also at Nila's Warung, we sat in her bean bags and I had my best fish meal in Bali there. Lovely walk around the cliff path to Jungut Batu and many other dining options - and great bars to watch the sun set from. Back to the hotel - staff are wonderful. One of my boys needed medical attention and they provided a driver immediately and took us to a top notch medical clinic on the island where he received the best of care, and medication as required on the spot. Extended our stay by two days - we will definitely be back.

I have to say the food offered was underwhelming, perhaps something that is still being reviewed since Covid. Even chose not to avail ourselves of the free breakfast more often than not as it was just not all that appealing to be honest. Service excellent, but food at the local warungs and other eateries was way better. Hopefully that will improve as visitor numbers stabilise - so please do not let that put you off staying a such a wonderful place :)

The location and views were second to none. The suite rooms were fantastic with outdoor seating looking out over the ocean view which was also visible from the bed. The beds were very comfortable.

Some staff were very friendly and helpful, some others not so much. Safe in rooms not bolted down and are key lock.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Amazing location! The pool and restaurant were great with two little kids (2 y/o and 1 y/o) The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and you get a lot of food too. Their smoothie bowls were exceptional - not part of breakfast but in their usual menu. They can organise a little truck into town for 150k or motorbike which ranges from 80k - 120k per day depending on what size bike. The bathrooms although could use with an upgrade were functional and clean. We had no issues with smell or water being too hot or cold. The bathrooms don’t have ventilation so can seem a bit “stuffy”. Our rooms joined together and one aircon worked great and the other was ok. There were quite a few centipedes which our kids loved but staff do try clean them up as much as possible. The stairs are steep and there is a lot of them but they’re safe. We considered changing our accomodation after all the negative reviews but are so glad we didn’t. We will be back to stay again.

Very friendly staff. Good restaurant with a lovely view. The smoothies are great! Scooter hire at a reasonable rate (but no working helmets and my brakes weren’t great). Room tidied and bed made by ‘ninjas’ that always had it done really early without disturbing us. Great massages available at a good price. Bird life around the property and well maintained gardens with lovely flowers. Clean. Good AC. Spacious room. Mosquito netting around bed (increased dengue fever cases in Bali). Good beach access. Lots of alternative restaurants easily accessible along the boardwalk (which has been renovated) within a kilometre.

65 steep steps to breakfast. I liked this (we purposely did extra ascents for the exercise😄) but it would definitely be a difficulty for some, esp in the heat. Pools were very warm (hard to rectify). Did get a little tired of the breakfast choices after 9 days (first world problem?) but they were all good. It would have been great to have some breakfasts included and others not (just an idea).

Smelt quite mouldy around the villas Bathrooms need a good big clean to get rid of existing mould and scum.

Rooms were lovely, two pools to choose from. Yes there are some serious stairs but what accommodation perched on a cliff doesn’t have stairs? Staff were exceptionally helpful with anything we needed, scooters etc Perfect place for an easy paddle out to Playgrounds surf, board hire at the beach if you didn’t bring your own. If you aren’t very able bodied this could be a difficult place to stay with accessibility both getting around accommodation and to and from town; it’s either a nice walk or a good scooter on windy roads and bumpy side roads but nothing a taxi couldn’t fix. Seeing time to Nusa Lembongan; a lovely place to visit and much to do

Absolutely loved the view, magnificent location, there were a lot of steps that are very steep( we found it’s best to get down those steps at about 4pm, because other wise it’s too hot), absolutely beautiful beach just down the stars to the left. The top pool doesn’t have any cover over so the best time for a swim would be about 4 pm and after, the water in the pool is a fair bit warmer than on the beach.

The food was absolutely amazing! ( highly recommend Tom yum goon, we had 11 portions between the two of us in a week) The staff were wonderful, very helpful and kind.
