Flawless! This stay was absolutely perfect! Highly recommended! Every facility is beautifully designed, and the room supplies are all eco-friendly and natural. The bed is huge, the kind where you can roll around comfortably. There’s also a semi-outdoor bathtub and a spacious terrace in the room, offering breathtaking ocean views from every angle. Watching the sunrise over the sea from here is a must—absolutely stunning! No matter where you go here, you’ll be greeted by friendly and professional staff. They treat your needs as their own, starting from the time you book and great afterwards help and services! The food is made from fresh, natural ingredients, and there are plenty of delicious options to choose from. All yummy! The highlight, of course, was its prime location right in front of the sea. Waking up to the sound of waves and the stunning view of the ocean was pure bliss. What a wonderful stay. Beautiful view with complete tranquility around you. The staff was friendly, nothing was too much and everything was clean.

The distance to the center (scuba diving clubs, restaurants). You need to rent a scooter to get into town, it takes around 50 minutes to get there.

Every aspect of this resort was exceptionally amazing. We had the villa with the pool which we highly recommend, the view was also breathtaking.

Our villa was up the hill from the main restaurant which can be a hike in hot weather but it didn’t matter too much as they offered a pick up service in a golf buggy to your room.

The facilities are brand new. Everything has been carefully designed and is beautiful. The open bathroom is just awesome; probably one of the most amazing baths you will ever have. The restaurant is very nice given how apart is the resort in an island that already has difficulties in certain supplies. Also, the hotel personnel is constantly trying their best to help in every possible way.

The hotel is quite far from most of the highlights of the island. For a hotel of this price, I would have expected some kind of shuttles or similar service. We arranged a transport from Sampalan port to the hotel with the reception, and they just booked us a taxi at a higher rate than what we would have negotiated on site at our arrival. Hotel activities are still a bit scarce and not properly defined. We asked about snorkelling trips at the lobby office and got two completely different offers from two different workers. On top of that, they offer diving excursions, but give you no info at all about the company you dive with, the equipment they provide, etc.

I was looking for a place to relax and the Semaya Beach Resort perfectly matched my need. The rooms are luxurious with a spectacular view and the central body of the hotel provides you with all you need. Besides the room (taking a bath overlooking the sea is priceless :-)), I loved the swimming pool and the small SPA that provides very high quality massages. The hotel has also organized for me a snorkelling trip as Nusa Penida is well known for the presence of manta rays. P.S. If you want to avoid the chaos of the Banjar Nyuh harbour, I highly recommend reaching Nusa Penida via the Sampalan Beach harbour.

I would have loved swimming in front of the hotel but, unfortunately, currents are quite strong so that is not possible.

I came for 7 nights, with the aim of getting away from everything and taking it easy, and this place certainly did the job. I had Room 107, with an absolutely beautiful private pool and amazing view, and it was so relaxing. I swam, read, napped, and spent so much quiet time simply enjoying the view. I also loved all the resident critters that were a part of my stay (geckos, swallows, butterflies, a monkey and frogs). Most days I had a clear view of Mt Agung on Bali and Mt Rinjani on Lombok. Stunning!!! All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating, they did their jobs so well, and let me be to relax as I pleased.

It would have been nice to have some more Indonesian/Balinese dishes on the menu, but it wasn't a big deal. The resort is only half finished, but that really didn't impact on my stay at all.

Our stay at Semaya Beach Resort was simply fantastic! The location right on the beach is stunning, with breathtaking views of the turquoise sea. The perfect sunrise we enjoyed every morning from our room was definitely a highlight! The rooms are very clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The large balcony was ideal for taking in the peaceful atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive – they truly made our stay special. A memorable moment was the private candlelight dinner the resort organized for my wife’s birthday, right on the beach. It was romantic, with excellent food and a beautiful setting under the stars. A special touch that made our stay unforgettable! The food at the hotel's restaurant was also outstanding, always freshly prepared and with great attention to detail. The infinity pool with a sea view provided the perfect spot to relax. Overall, it was a dreamy vacation at Semaya Beach Resort. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it to everyone!
