The rooms are so spacious and very clean. We had our own private pool and day bed which was perfect for relaxing. The staff were excellent and attentive. This is a luxury stay and ideal for anyone who enjoys a tranquil stay with no children around. Our highlight was the Balinese cooking class with Chef Beny. I highly recommend this to anyone staying at the Bale.

The gym is not that great but it has the basic equipment for exercise. A better aircon is needed.

The staff was amazing.The villa was beautiful and we loved your pick and drop service.

The insect repellent spray doesn’t work at all.The matches are very hard to use as well.

The space structure and its layout

Building is a bit outdated, needs a few painting and pressure washing jobs on walls, wooden frames, furniture. The property needs small decor touches, more plants on tables, more vases with plants on the breakfast area, lobby, restaurant area, even at the villa outside area. It is missing interior and exterior decoration to make it more cosy and charming. Ambience is a bit bare.

First and foremost, the staff across the site were fabulous. Nothing was too much effort and when we had a mini-medical emergency (unrelated to the hotel), they went out of their way to find solutions and ferry us to a local pharmacy. We had a couples massage package and it was divine. Indulgent in every sense and my masseuse was superb. Would also highly recommend the cooking class with head chef Beny - he's a delight to be around with a great sense of humour, and takes you to the markets where he sources the hotel's fish and vegetables. An unforgettable experience immersing in the hustle and bustle of a thriving fish market. Be warned - the dried fish smell is pungent! On returning, we cooked and and got to feast on the four delicious dishes we prepared. Our villa was number 30 and it was quiet and felt private. It's a generous space and we were sad to leave it behind. The pool access from sliding doors in the bathroom is a great touch. Cleanliness is never in doubt. The pride that the resort staff take in their workplace is humbling. It creates that feeling of being invited into someone's home, where that someone knows how to host properly. In terms of access to other areas, we spent a couple of days day-tripping in Uluwatu around the Bingin Beach area, and the journey over there takes 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. There are bluebird taxis dotted all around the hotel area making for an easy experience. It took about 20 minutes to get to the airport. Looking froward to our return trip in a couple of years :)

The general property is a little tired in places but that can be easily explained by the fact they only reopened a matter of months ago following covid closures! Nothing a lick of paint cannot fix.

Love the villa and everything about it. Love the promptness of every requests we ask for - whether through call or through the app. The services from ALL the staffs - from the reception, to the butler services, to the spa massauer - are exceptional. I even had a surprise birthday cake when I didn't inform them of my birthday. Special thanks to all the staffs who service us during our stay. Will definitely come back again in our next trip. Love the spa treatment and the massauer - Partini and Ratih - who are very professional and bubbly. Also love it that we get complimentary tickets and transport to Canna Beach.

Expect some insects/bugs in the villa during the stay since it is very close to nature.

Our stay at The Balé Nusa Dua surpassed all expectations from the moment we arrived. The quality of the villa exceeded by far what we were expecting, offering a luxurious and serene retreat. But what we truly loved is the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Every encounter felt genuine, making us feel truly valued. We definitely can't wait to come back.

spacious, expansive yet private layout and architecture. Room was well apportioned with lovely bath salts and oils to make a luxurious soak. Bed was larger-than-king size. Reception, F&B staff were very hospitable and personable. They helped to arrange an early breakfast to be brought to our room before we had to set off on a tour. Breakfast menu was well thought-thru with different juice blends.

The room doors could have been more tight to be more sound proof (many bird sounds before day break) and not rattle so much (strong breezes). The TV system and player were quite old model. Digital TV would be really nice so that we can cast from our mobile devices.

Our room was superb. It was very spacious and having a private pool was wonderful.

Location of the property was good. Easy walk to Geger Beach. Reception provided tickets to access the beach. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous. Great choice and lots of options and loved our Jamu shot each day. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive to any requests. Service at the restaurant was 5 star. Villa was lovely and ridiculously large and very clean. Despite the complex being fully booked we hardly ran into any other guests our whole 4 night stay. We ate at the Tapas bar our last night and food was very good. Nice live music. Glad we had a motor bike which staff at hotel arranged for us as there is no shops/massage places or restaurants within walking distance. Quick 5 minute drive to supermarkets, a few local shops and several dining and massage options.

The outdoor coffee station was a little strange. Fridge was inside villa and coffee/tea facilities located in outside daybed pergola. Strange to have to go outside to make your coffee in the morning. Would have been handy to have a fridge/rubbish bin located near coffee station outside. Would be great to provide a drying rack for wet swimmers etc and a few more hooks in bathroom to hang your bath towel. It is great that the hotel are big on recycling but suggest a bin for "general rubbish". There was one bin for paper and another for plastic/glass but nowhere to put other rubbish such as general rubbish/food scraps/tea bags etc.

Marvelous hotel, the attention to details, the rooms were spacious, very well equipped and the bathrooms with 3 different showers were a plus. The 2 villas with a private pool in between and a bed to relax was just perfect. The cherry on top was the staff, all very friendly and available with a special comment to the General Manager who welcomed every customer at breakfast and during our stay went out of his way to make e our experience even better and allowed us to have a very late check out since we had to leave the room at 12:00 but our flight was 22:00 and we could enjoy the rooms until evening without any extra charge.
