The hosts were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Kawi helped me organise a last minute ferry after a flight was cancelled and organised the Rinjani trek/airport transfer for a very good price. His wife cooked me a delicious dinner and gave me a cooking lesson while doing so. She also provided a very substantial and delicious breakfast before they transferred me to the airport. The surrounding area is authentically beautiful.

No basin in the room.

Big rooms, clean, nice bed and bathroom. They have a dinner menu and it was really tasty! It’s in a tiny rural village which was nice to relax in before the flight. They took me to the airport in the morning for a small fee. I felt very welcome here.

Seemed to have a lot of mosquitoes in the room but not a big problem!

Nice host, thank you for showing us how to cook. Basic amenities, A/C, drinking water, scooter for rent, home cooked food is nice. Ride service through them to the airport was efficient, they got up early to make us breakfast that morning too. Can book other tours through them, Rinjani, Komodo, etc. English was quite good. Thank you again.

The family running Kawi homestay is such a lovely and helpful bunch of people! They made me feel super welcome, cooked for me while there and even accommodated a (huge and tasty pancake and fruit) breakfast at 3.30AM and took me to the airport in their car at 4.00AM - which was great really! Thanks a lot for all your help! Value for money is amazing - remember it’s a homestay, not a luxury resort - but the room was totally fine with AC and private bathroom and the bed was very cozy also!

Had an amazing welcome by the staff who showed us straight to our room. AC that worked and a comfy bed. A welcome drink was a lovely touch and breakfast was very good! They even organised a taxi for us all the way to the ferry.

Lovely homestay with a very friendly family. It’s in a great location close to the airport and they even prepared us a delicious breakfast before our early morning flight! They also provided dinner the night before and a transfer to the airport.

One of the bedrooms didn’t have a sink but it wasn’t a big deal.

Very welcoming family, collected me from airport with my name on a sign, made me evening meal (Rice egg veg)and breakfast (chocolate pancakes) and drove me to port and arranged speedboat.. all competitive prices. Mini mart next door too.

Kawi and Bulan were both really friendly hosts. We came down to stay after our Rinjani hike as it was close to the airport for our flight the next day. There was plenty of space in the room for us to unpack and and the shower area was big and spacious too. We were offered individual blankets and the air-con in the room was awesome. We also used the taxi transfer from Kawi to the airport which was only about 15 mins away. He even let me stop by the convenience store on the way.

All we needed for one night before our morning flight. The place is a bit far from the city, but offers really good dinners, plus a delicious breakfast was included even when we had to leave at 4am. The lovely owners also helped with a transport to the airport and were all together very hospitable :)

The owners of the guesthouse are really nice and helpful. We got a welcome drink, free water-refill and we even got a free dinner. The guest house is located in a cute, small village in the middle of ricefields, but still close to the airport.

There was no bathroom sink, that would have been nice to have.
