We stayed at Taman Amertha Villas for a week at the end of April and early May. There were three of us, myself and my wife and our 21 year old son. We had Villa D which was a two bedroom Villa. The experience was exceptional from start to finish and we would not hesitate to recommend. The villas are well located in the centre of Seminyak and is a 15-20 min walk from Seminyak beach. There are mini marts opposite and a range of shops and stores including a Landry, coffee shop and currency exchanger in the same road. Within a 5-10 minute walk there are all of the shops and restaurants that you will need during your stay. The staff at the Villas are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Special thanks must go to Ketut who made us welcome from the moment that we arrived. They were attentive and responded quickly and efficiently to all enquiries. A real credit to the villas. Our Villa was absolutely what we needed. Two well sized air conditioned double rooms with en-suite shower facilities along with wardrobe, safe and desk. The rooms were very well maintained. The rooms looked out onto a lovely swimming pool boarded by well maintained shrubs and trees creating a wonderfully tranquil feeling. Our Villa was not overlooked at all. Alongside the pool is a sunbathing area with loungers and towels that are provided by the Villa. There was also an open plan living area that had sofa, chairs, dining table, bar stools and small kitchenette area that would have been sufficient to cook a light meal. There was also a fridge freezer and single toilet. The Villa, despite the Seminyak traffic, was a real oasis for us. Quiet and tranquil with everything that we needed. And the brilliant staff really made sure that our stay was perfect. The villas also have their own restaurant, Kelor. It is where breakfast is served, though it can also be delivered to your villa.

As always, the people in Bali are incredible... the villa was exactly as advertised, it had all the comforts needed, the Air conditioner worked spectacularly and the pool was wonderful. The property is well located with supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance and the menu at the hotel was very good. The breakfast was included in our price and it was very good but the only thing that did not make any sense was that you had to pay for the coffee or tea.

this is just being a little picky but I think it is in their interest to improve... The furniture in general is dated, it needs a little TLC. Things like towels and bedsheets need renovation and details like leaking showerheads need replacement.

The private courtyard and pool was terrific! The Balinese feel throughout the villa, including all the ensuite bsthrooms, was lovely. All the staff were great and could not do enough to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our 10 night stay. The bedrooms were very comfortable with the reverse-cycle systems that are installed

The living area being completely open to thr courtyard is lovely, but wasnt totally convenient in the weather conditions as that area became very hot and uncomfortable particularly in the evenings- resulting in retiring to bedrooms early.

We stayed at Taman Amertha over Easter this year. It was just stunning!!! Ketut and the team were so accomodating and awesome. The Villa was super clean/tidy, had filtered water and even 2 toilets. The pool was gorgeous. They have a range of other services available too. With breakfast included from their restaurant Warung Kelor, you can’t go wrong. They’ll either bring your selections to your room or you can choose to dine in. We loved that they put offerings at our door every morning, it was so sweet. Definitely would come back!

My Villa was too close to the street. Traffic mainly motorbikes could be heard often.

The rooms were beautiful and mindfully designed with attention to matériels and functionality. The staff were delightful. Insects don't bother us much but the pest management at this resort is truly exceptional, by far the fewest insects in any Ubud Villa we've had the pleasure of staying in.

Aris was always there to greet us from the moment we arrived and checked in to the day before we left to fly home. The Villa was perfect and in a great and central location. We will definitely be returning.

Nasi goreng is very good. Can have anytime if you order one night before. This is very helpful for us. Location is good, outside of Villa have a small supermarket open for 24 hours.
