Staff - welcoming, can’t do enough for you Rooms - very clean and spacious, very good A/C Breakfast - very good with different options Location - just perfect, close enough to life - far enough away to reap the tranquility

On Saturday night a local beach bar hosts a party.. until 4 am.. not the fault of the Hotel, But you could hear the bass, even though the hotel is set back.. such a shame as it is normally very quiet and tranquil.. would have been good to have some toiletries shampoo and body wash in room.

The hotel consists of about 12 individual bungalows all facing a nice shady central pool. It’s located only a short walk from the bustling harbour area with wide sandy beaches and a good selection of great restaurants and shops along the coast. Breakfast was served very efficiently to wherever you wish to eat- the open air lobby, garden tables or the terrace at your bungalow. The hotel is clearly trying to set a high standard of service and cleanliness. The rooms are serviced daily. It is great that the hotel is reducing unnecessary plastic bottle waste by providing free drinking water refills that guests are able to access themselves at anytime in the lobby.

Despite the property being hidden down a laneway within a quiet grassy coconut grove, we were able to find it quite easily. Once we knew we were in the vicinity we simply asked the local people ‘can you tell us where Lucy’s Garden is?’, and everyone we spoke to knew it and were happy to direct us.

The rooms were lovely and clean, fantastic bathrooms and having a fridge in the room was perfect. The pool, gardens and the rest of the property were all very highly maintained, clean and tidy. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay

The only issue we had was that there was a real lack of storage, we were in a family room and the upstairs bedroom had no storage whatsoever, the downstairs had bedside tables a single hanging rail and some drawers that were too small to be of much use. Probably fine if you're only staying a couple of days and have left your main luggage elsewhere but we stayed longer and had all our luggage with us so storage and being able to keep everything tidy was an issue.

The accommodation was exceptional. We had the family house with the extra bedroom upstairs for our 20year old daughter, and it worked perfectly. The bathroom with very spacious with good shower, hot water, towels etc. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay the best possible. We hired bikes and booked a snorkel day trip through reception which was a private boat trip to all the best spots, just stunning. Would highly recommend Lucy’s garden and happily stay again. The pool and surrounding gardens are all well maintained.

Absolutely nothing, it was all fantastic

Staff were friendly and were able to arrange bike hire and our snorkelling trip. Breakfast was included which was cooked fresh to order. Accommodation was clean and clean everyday during our stay. Pool was clean and adequate to cool off with sun loungers for relaxing. No complaints, we stayed in the 2 bedroom villa and would definately recommend if a couple or families with younger children, we were a family of adults and the upstairs bedroom was alittle cramped with the bed on the floor but was ok for our 3 day stay. The accommodation was close to excellent restaurants and beach bars.

Lucy’s Garden is such a lovely place run by beautiful people. This is our second time here and we have always felt so at home here. The staff are always available to offer a coffee or tea or have a chat (which we love). The pool area is leafy, shady and a lovely place to be. So many different areas to eat breakfast. We love Lucy’s Garden and look forward to staying again. Hello to Yandi from the family!! Thankyou also to Ilham who made sure to call the lovely staff who worked there six years ago (Bin and Wan) so we could reunite!

We loved everything!

We loved our stay at Lucy’s. The location is just perfect, in a very calm area but at the same time at 1-2min from the best restaurants and sunset places of the island. Bungalows are simple but spacious and comfortable. Staff is extremely dedicated and organized everything we asked. Very nice swimming pool. I am not giving a 10/10 as there were a few stains on the bedsheet and the AC was strongly smelling humidity but fully recommend this place and would definitely go again.

Everything!!! This is my favourite and happy place on Gili 🙏🏻 That was my 2nd stay in Lucy’s Garden and I enjoyed even more than for the 1st time. It’s about the place but also people. They are doing a really great job - Ilham, Husen, Mawan, Yandi, Erna and Novi. Thank you for everything!!! The place is close to the beach, very close and close to the best place on the island to watch sunsets. They have bikes for rent and breakfast which is delicious. Can’t wait to come back soon.

That I had to leave…

We had a comfortable stay at this bungalow. It boasts a great location close to restaurants and the beach, and their laundry service was fantastic. The staff were exceptional, and the tranquility of the pool area was truly exceptional.

there are some areas that could use improvement. There was an unpleasant odor in the room that persisted throughout our four-day stay, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, the absence of a fridge, iron, hairdryer, and other basic amenities in the room was inconvenient for us. Lastly, the room's curtains allowed too much external light to enter, making it challenging to sleep in the mornings, and the air conditioning unit in the room was quite noisy, which disturbed our peace and quiet at night.

- The Staff is very kind, helpful and welcoming, and take very good care about the accomodation. Had a nice chat with them as well. - The location is excellent, near to the sunset point, harbor, etc. - The layout of Lucy´s Garden is also fine. Enought space for hanging out, and a couple of sun lungers at the pool. - Clean place over all, staff is taking care. - You get coffee and tee free, which is ready after a minute once order. Breakfast is good too. - Place is older, but seems to build in solid quality. - Overall a very good place to stay for 2-3 nights to enjoy Gili Air.

- Water pressure is extreme low - almost no sockets in the room and also in the lobby, if you depend to do some work on your laptop, and your battery is low, might be a problem. - no toilet bidet, which is standard for Indonesia - Price - well claiming about a price is very relative. Gilis seems to be back on a level before the earthquake in 2018, what is very happy to see. Almost 900k for Lucy´s Garden, with the lack of some small comfort details as mentioned above is in my opinion overpriced, compared to quality you get elswhere on Lombok or Bali. But that´s the effect of supply and demand.
