the bed is very comfy. the food was so GOOD and not pricey at all! the location oh just besides indomaret! the staff is friendly and be able to help us with luggage and taxi! toilet is clean. room service is good and they did provide iron if we ask to deliver to my room.

internet connection is not so good. hard to connect and need to call receptionst many times. they didn't provide water bottle inside the room but they did provide a jug so we can refill ourselves outside the room. its okay for me but i would love to have a couple or two mineral water inside the room just like any other hotel.

We're 2 adults with 3 and 6 year old kids. We stayed 3 nights. The room spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff is nice and very helpful. There are two water refill stations in the corridor - great! The hotel location is perfect for us. It's in the center of the city and just 10 minute drive to the old town of Surabaya (Pasar Atom, Peneleh, etc). There is Indomaret convenient store just next to the hotel to buy snacks, medicine and coffee. Just across the hotel is Gramedia bookstore, very big and has a good collection of art supplies and books.

It would be so much better if a mini refrigerator is provided in the room.

The front office, housekeeping and coffee house personnel were very courteous and well mannered. The overall cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel, rooms, lift, seating areas were all top notch. The hotel is located in an excellent area, malls & restaurants are walking distance away.

Buffet Breakfast was far from satisfactory. Variety was limited. There were many items not available, for example: 1. Pastries - extremely disappointing. This is the main bf item most people would look forward to. Croissant was small and hard, not large and soft. There were no muffins and other Danish delights 2. Bread - No butter was available. What was given was actually margarine. No peanut butter. And worst of all no cheese. 3. No fresh fruit juice 4. No apples or oranges The food was left open. There were many flies especially on the watermelon and papaya fruit cuttings

no frills and easy to access. staff was fantastic. cleanliness is to be credited - very impressive for a hotel in the city centre. having stayed at some 3.5 star hotels with lousy cleanliness, its a welcome breath of fresh air to stay at Ibis Surabaya. There is a convenience mart next door for fruits and daily necessities.

No minibar in the room, so you will have to buy non perishable fruits.

The hotel is in a very good location, with a convenience store nearby and a large mall just a ten-minute walk away. The room size is satisfactory for the price, and it’s well-equipped. There’s also a small bar in the lobby downstairs. The breakfast was excellent.

There were noticeable stains in the corners of the bathroom, and I had to clean them myself with alcohol.

I stayed with my dauther for 4 days in November. The room, service were really greate, the personel was very polite and helpful. The menu in the restaurant was rather tasty and various. There is a spacious foyer and reception desk, it was never overcrowded.

Just only the breakfast was not so various, I mean mostly dish was asian not european cuisine.

I like how efficient and environmental friendly the hotel is. All the furniture are not fancy but very functional. Enough natural lights, feels spacious. Water refill available anytime. Yes, the shower felt like you're in a ship's cabin, but it works well. Tasty pastries and snacks at the lobby in the evening. Minimart just next door. Highly recommended.

Tried to walk around in the morning, already super busy, But hey, it's the city center - meaning you can easily get to anywhere.

My mom was the one staying in the property. She said that the room/hotel was great and she had a pleasant stay. She mentioned that the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Iskandar (if not mistaken) who helped her printing some documents during her late check-in. She actually ended up staying for 1 more night at the hotel to catch an early flight to Bali the next day. Thanks for the hospitality!

She said everything was good, but she wished there were coffee/tea and sugar provided in the room.

Location was very good to supermarkets, shopping centres and restaurants. Comfortable bed that allowed a good night sleep

Breakfast options were limited, only Indonesian style foods which weren't to our liking but was still cheap and so didn't feel like a waste of money

The room is very comfortable, and it has an Europe feel. The staff are very friendly. The location is good, it is near a mall and there are a number of eateries around, very convenient for sundry goods and dinning.

On my second day and the next day, the hallway was awfully smelly. The room service menu needs to improve. It would be good if can provide some soup noodles, or cub noodles would be nice.
