The girls working at the homestay are really nice and easy to talk to. The rooms and common areas are very clean. Bed is comfortable. TV works and is placed in a good direction compared to the bed. You have a workstation so you don't have to sit in your bed with your laptop. The house was quiet all days of my stay after 21:00. Breakfast was great and well prepared.

Toilet/bath is a bit small. I would recommend setting up a shower curtain to separate bath and toilet to avoid water getting everywhere. AC worked great but the remote didn't always work so I had to turn it on manually. Location is not bad but not good either, it is very central which means that most attractions will be a 30-40min drive away.

The Room is great, being the bed really confortable!! The location is halfway from the Old town and the bus station so it's ok, but the good side is exploring it's surroundings, exploring the small local villages and connecting with them. The have fresh/cold Water, tea and coffee for free what's always a good thing here. There weren't many other guests there, because it's a more hotel type vibe, só really good to rest and stay a night.

Being a little bit far from the center makes you going by foot with the really hot weather or going by Grab/táxi, spending more money.

It's clean and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The location are very strategic too. It's a good place to stay, even for 4 nights. The owners even took their time at 4 am to take us to the nearest train station and picked us up again at around 10 pm. The laundry is also clean and fast. Overall, I really like it here. Very recommended!

There are mosquitos at night, despite the air conditioner. The bathroom door is broken. One of the cable plugs are half covered by the bed, so it's difficult for a certain phone charger and there are only 2 ports on the wall. But it's all still acceptable.

I can only recommend this hotel :) My room was clean, spacious and really quiet, there are a lot of food options in the neighborhood, the staff was friendly, and I met really friendly backpackers and locals there. I was traveling solo and got sick, so I had to extend my stay on a short notice. Not only did the boss arrange me a doctor's appointment within 10 minutes when I asked for help, she also made sure to bring me there, made sure I had something to eat, brought me to a restaurant and asked if I needed anything more. Especially for someone traveling alone it was amazing to feel taken care of and she went far above anything I would have expected of any hotel! She is very knowledgeable and can recommend many places in Surabaya or places to visit on the island too. Thank you!!! :) :)

It’s in a side street which is great because you do not hear traffic or anything from the outside. Generally quiet and peaceful place in the middle of a big city. The staff is extremely helpful and nice but not intrusive. Perfect combination. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good! We extended our stay here! In general, great value for money! I would stay here again even though I often stay at 4-5star hotels.

Although the guesthouse is not right in the city centre (about a 15-minute taxi ride to Alun Alun, the main commercial centre of Surabaya), there is a big supermarket (Bilka), some convenience stores (Indomaret), and a very friendly and nice restaurant (Belut Khas Surabaya) all around the corner, so it's actually very convenient. The girls at the reception and the owner Yuvi were so friendly and helpful. They had rich information on the local amenities for their guests, and really tried their best to take care of us - Yuvi and her mom even kindly gave us a lift to Alun Alun - bless them! Our family room was bright, spacious and clean, with lots of cute personal touches, and the beds were comfortable. The air-con and hot showers were all great. They offer 24-h tea and coffee in the communal area, and you could use their fridge if you buy fresh juice/milk, etc. For such a big room and good facilities, we felt it was great value for money. When we had an extra day to spare, we extended our stay at the guesthouse, which shows how much we liked it. We'd definitely stay there again if we ever go back to Surabaya.

The surroundings of the guesthouse may need a bit of getting used to, particularly with the hectic road (Ngagel Jaya Selatan St) on the south of the guesthouse making it challenging to cross the road. However, this is not the guesthouse's problem, and once we got used to it, we felt the location was great - we had everything we needed within easy reach.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also amazing (I had the local options)! The room was spacious, and the AC made it such a comfortable stay :)

The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was the bathroom situation. The shower and the toilet are right next to each other in n small space with no division, meaning that every time someone showers, the entire bathroom floor and toilet get soaked.

Overall the room was clean, nice and satisfactory as we only had to stay for couple of hours (we had to leave at 11:30PM for Bromo tour). But for longer stay the room might seem little compact to some. There window opened in a shaft which blocked the view and made the room feel more compact. But overall everything else was fine. No Complaints

This place feels like home. I've been travelling for a few months now and this place really does have the homey atmosphere I've been away from. Ruby, the girl who works there is an angel!! I've had several very difficult days because of my health while staying in this hotel and she's tried everything possible to help me! Thanks!

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Location was close to airport and restaurants using a taxi or grab. Very reasonable price. Safe location as gate and door are locked at night by staff onsite.

Breakfast is basic. Eggs and sausage are ok just a little cold. Toaster and hot water available which was good.
