The lobby is stunning, the aesthetic elements along the corridor are amazing…Swimming pool is perfect for exercise a bit and relaxing without children’s noises…The location is closed to Pasar Gede which is kept its authentic…The bed and pillows are all perfect for deep sleep…The room service has a warm way of saying thank you…

Experiencing bedroom interior that is far from the advertising images…Please you have to upscale the bedrooms’ interior because it looks a bit creepy. If you do these interior refreshment so you will bring the best customer experience of staying there…regardless of the building’s exterior.

Walking in to the hotel is incredible!! Beautiful and mostly batik-themed decor in every corner, including the rooms. Some things I enjoyed: - The resturant service for breakfast and meals is wonderful. A nice menu with enough to try out during my stay - There are shops selling art made by local artisans, including incredibly high quality hand drawn batik, clothes and unique souvenirs - People are so friendly at the hotel (and in Solo too!) and always have fantastic recommendations for what to see in the city - Location; less than 20 minutes walk to Palaces Mankunegaran and Kasunanan (Kasunanan is a difficult route, so I recommend taking transport to this one)...a short walk to Kampung Batik Kauman and the Antique Markets - Safe for solo travellers, especially the close proximity to many of the city's main attractions - Great extra amenities (like the pool, massages etc.) which unfortunately I didn't get time to try - Bottles of water provided and refreshed in the room every day - Very clean room, antique decor, comfortable bed

The aircon is a little loud but the room stays cool for a very long time, which is great!

Nice room, good air conditioning. Nice location. Very beautiful interior inside the hotel. There's a traditional Javanese live music in the morning, it gives an extra accent to the experience. Very nice.

Breakfast was not the best compared to other hotels I have stayed in, in Solo. Some food stayed too long on the table in my opinion. There were however some fresh food (made by request), the problem was there was no exhaust so the smoke stayed in the dining room. When one ordered for example spicy (let's say) noodles, the spicy air stayed in the dining room and even some people sneezed several times. I ordered omelette, it was delivered way later when i was eating my dessert. I had to turn it back.

The hotel boasts a classic ambiance and a strategic location, conveniently situated near shopping centers, batik stores, culinary spots, and souvenir shops. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although the room facilities are somewhat dated but still functional. Basic amenities are provided. The breakfast options are limited and lack variety.

The staff's hospitality could be improved; despite completing payment at reception, there were repeated phone calls to the room inquiring about payment status.

We stayed two nights in this hotel. Our check-in went well even though it is 1am in the morning. There were still several parking slots available in the underground parking area. The hotel was nicely decorated with antique Javanese culture themed. It was pleasing to the eyes as well as quite a photogenic one. The room was large and tspacious, yet all major touch points felt tediously clean. We had an issue with the room air conditioning, which does not blow cold air. We asked the hotel staff to check and possibly repair during our noon trip out from the hotel. However, they could not resolve this. Politely and generously, we were asked to move to the other room, which surprisingly we had it upgraded to Junior Suite. The suite had much better air conditioning, and our little baby slept better this time. I can say both the suites and deluxe room were very clean, and interior decor was pleasing to the eyes as well. We had sampled the breakfast dishes, and some of it were exceptionally well cooked. There's a traditional Kwetiau noodle and fried rice bar, and both dishes were quite good. I don't think they use MSG or much salt either, so it is healthier as well. As many hotels around Java, traditional Jamu herbal drinks were served.

Aside from the service recovery with the AC we had in our initial room, bath rooms tap need to be reworked that the shower was leaking from hose bottom. The upgraded suite had a separate shower area, which the rain shower does not work.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the general hotel facilities were excellent. Great food for lunch and dinner at reasonable prices in the restaurant (we didn't have the breakfast option). Nice towels, comfortable bed and good water pressure.

The room we were in was a bit tired, not really up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. The analogue alarm clock provided in the room had no hands so totally useless, and the bathroom was clean but also needed a refurbishment.

The hotel is quite centrally located, near attractions, restaurants, etc. The interior / decor keeps to its traditional Javanese themes / heritage. Service is quite exceptional.

The entire hotel needs a refresh - or, at the very least, the wear and tear need to be fixed. The bathroom really needs an upgrade.

The staff were so lovely and friendly, and very helpful. The hotel is so beautiful and full of so many interesting things to admire. Breakfast was very nice, and the little coffee shop in the lobby makes lovely drinks. We really enjoyed seeing and hearing the traditional gamelan musicians perform in the lobby.

The bathroom in our room was shoddy, especially when compared to the nice bedroom area. The bracket holding the shower head was broken (so it was impossible to shower standing up) and the holes were still visible in the wall. The water did not get very hot.

Staff are friendly and helpful, comfy bed, spacious room, and a bathtub... class!!. hotel location is superb also, at center area of the town.. so don't need to much effort to go to interesting area around.

it needs times to have an elevator. variety of breakfast and its taste isn't wow.. just standard, and I have problem with the wifi... lost the signal repeatly.

It is really a beautiful hotel with authenthic Javanese ornaments all over. Really loved the vibe. The location is near to major tourist attractions and restaurants.

The top of dispensers in the bathroom could use more wipes so it'll look cleaner for the guests convenience. A little bit ornaments in the lift are ripped off. The water of the swimming pool was ice cold.
