The hotel is really beautiful and what makes it even better is the exceptional staff that I would like to thank once again! The pool is amazing and offers breathtaking view of the rainforest.(there is an issue here though that I will explain later) Rooms are large,clean and very nice decorated.There was a humidity smell in the room but it didn’t really bother me.I understand it’s a tropical place.You will also see insects on the balcony but that didn’t bother me either.After all you are in the middle of a rainforest. Breakfast was basic but good.Perhaps they could add a few more options to the menu. Cocktails and food at the pool bar were also very good.The portion of the pasta could have been a bit bigger though. There is free shuttle to ubud center few times per day but you can also use taxi service anytime. The hotel also organizes day tours which I did and really enjoyed.

The reason I booked this place is because of the beautiful pool and the great view. Even though the pool is huge,the pool deck is really small and thus all the sunbeds are cramped next to each other offering no real distance and privacy among guests.That makes it kind of uncomfortable. What’s even worse is the fact that the hotel uses the pool area as a day club.It means that outsiders can just come there and occupy the few sunbeds that should be reserved for paying guests.This is not ok towards hotel guests. On my last day a group of outsiders came to use the pool drinking and making a lot of noise. I wonder how the pool area looks like during high season with all these outsiders and influencers. The management should really look into this.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, they remembered us by name the entire time and knew about dietry requirements for every meal. The chef had something prepared for us at every meal. The room was clean, comfortable, had ice cold air con, a great bathroom and fantastic view. The pool was amazing with an exceptional view plus a great bar serving food and drink poolside. Could not be happier with my stay and will be returning on my next visit to Ubud.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. The room size is big and there was a balcony overlooking the eternity pool and forest - breathtaking.

We had a recurring sewage smell in our room. Despite complaining several times, the staff could neither solve the problem or change our room. This really ruined the experience - They should really focus on resolving this issue. It’s too far to walk from the hotel to Ubud city center. The hotel does have a shuttle service going into Ubud town but the service is infrequent and ends way too early. The meals at the hotel are really below average - you are better off exploring the restaurants in Ubud.

Our friends have a 4 years old kid who was sick at night, unfortunately she puked on the towel at night. Our surprise when we checked out the hotel wanted to charge xtra 200.000rp for the laundry. Finally we ended paying 100.000rp.

It was paradise! The property is gorgeous and the amenities is beyond amazing. You’d feel like your transported into another universe. The view from the pool and the executive room was legit gorg! 💚

Weren’t sure if it was the AC, but the room was smelly. The diffuser helped but did not fully removed the awful smell. There was almost nothing to do in the neighborhood. Still rated them high because it was still paradise on Earth! 💚

Nice location with very beautiful nature around, large comfortable room, very clean, beautiful bathroom. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good breakfasts.

The hotel is undergoing renovations on the swimming pool and on other territories. This makes it difficult to sleep in the morning and it is uncomfortable to relax by the pool during the mrning, because the repair work does not stop till 11:30.

Truly exceptional. The view, the pool, the food, the staff, everything was perfect. Very comfortable bed and pillows, big room, spacious bathroom. A la carte breakfast is super tasty and the additional buffet is great. Afternoon tea with bites included in the price is also very nice. View from the pool is breathtaking and the inclinator to get to it very useful. There is a different free activity every day (cultural, yoga, village tour..). The hotel is a 15min drive from Ubud center, but the location is still amazing. A free shuttle to/from the city is available several times a day. The staff is one of the highlights - always smiling, accommodating and so nice and helpful. The overall feel is one of luxury and total relaxation.

The food for breakfast, afternoon and the restaurant behind the hotel was very good, however the one in the restaurant in the second floor was mediocre. There is no warm water at the showers at the pool. Something in the pool makes everything (bathing suits etc) turn yellow if light-colored. Air conditioning and refrigerator in the room are a bit too loud.

An absolutely amazing place to stay! From the moment my sister & I arrived we were welcomed by the lovely staff members who helped us check in & guided us to our room. Our room was extremely clean, with a jaw dropping view of the pool & nature! Even the view from the bathroom was stunning! The pool lift was definitely one of my favourite experiences as I’ve never encountered such a lift. The pool was amazing & so serene - there is also a bar by the pool where you can order food & drinks. All the staff were so friendly towards my sister & I. It is a new resort, which meant that everything was quite new & the level of cleanliness was perfect.

Unfortunately the food was not good at all. I ordered a green curry to the room and it was the consistency of soup. The breakfast options were quite straight forward however not very flavourful and quite bland. I ordered a hot chocolate which was not very nice either. As this hotel is still new, I feel like they could definitely improve on their food & beverages. This was definitely the one main thing that we would complain about.

Very relaxing and peaceful location. Staff were so friendly and always ready to help. The pool area was luxurious and scenic. Nice range of cocktails available at the pool. Nice variety of breakfast options.

The bathroom in our room and corridors in the hallways had many ants. There is a distinct damp/musty smell in the room throughout our whole stay. Was it the drains? Or dust? Not sure but very prominent. There is zero atmosphere at the restaurant. We avoided it and went into town to eat every night. Although we had room service and food was good.

This property is a Gem !! Me and my partner spent 5 days at Metland Venya and we couldn’t be happier . Everything was so beautiful. The view is breathtaking, the calmness vibe of the place is what we were looking for and kindness of the staff was over the top . We felt so good that we didn’t want to leave . Rooms are spacious and clean . The infinity pool overlooking the jungle was exceptional. Food was great in the morning for breakfast. They offer so many activities and a big thank you to Semara that took us for a beautiful walk early in the morning to see the rice field . He is incredible. Free shuttle to the centre of Ubud was a plus . We enjoyed the atmosphere by the pool and Tawan made us very good drinks , you could tell how passionate he is about his job . So thank you 🙏🏻 The team working at Metland Venya is extremely friendly and made us feel so good every moment with their smile and politeness . Guys keep it up the good job cause we didn’t want to leave 🥰🥰 We recommend this hotel to everyone and please spend at least 3 days here to embrace fully the environment around you .
