the staff were extremely welcoming and hospitable. They go out of their way to make conversation with you and get to know you, and make sure you have everything you need. Bedhot even dropped me and another guest to downtown and gave us a nice intro to the city. I had a stomach virus during my stay and they were super helpful and offered me medicine. I also love the ambience of the place. It is well designed, quiet and peaceful.

I wish they had a little kitchenette for me to make my own coffee and food. The kitchen is for the staff to cook guests breakfast. It's more of a personal preference that would help make me feel more at home, but not a huge issue overall.

Since we arrived to Bedhot, it was our favorite place to be in Jogyakarta, we felt like at home. We stayed for 22 days. Staff was extra helpfull, kind and fun. We could arrange and book all the trips around Jogya at homestay, with the help of staff. They even made a suprise party for my birthday. Shared terrace and exterior design in general is just beautifull, full od traditional details. It was a perfect place to spend time in Yogja, we are so greatfull we found it. The best part of everything is the people that worked in homestay and Bedhot, the owner. Talking to them, we learned a lot about Indonesians and their culture. They were just the nicest and kindest people ever, and we will remember them forever. Thank you❤️❤️

Amazing stay at Bedhost Homestay We spent three nights at Bedhost Homestay, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The peace and the beautiful green surroundings make for a truly relaxing stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They know the area very well and assisted us with everything, from arranging a laundry service to planning activities. The bike tour they offer is truly a highlight! We rode on brand-new bicycles through local villages and visited small family-run factories where tempeh, tofu, crackers(krupuk), and bricks are made. Additionally, we got a unique glimpse into local village life and farming. It was fascinating to see how farmers work. If you’re a fan of local art, the batik created by Javanese artists in the area is a must-see. A perfectly faclilitaded bike-tour! As for the owner himself, Bedhost (his nickname), there’s a lot to say. He is a VW-classic car enthusiast and an artist, which is clearly reflected in the architecture of the cottages and the stunning woodwork. His philosophy of slow living is evident everywhere, making this the perfect place to unwind after busy days filled with activities. We highly recommend Bedhost Homestay to anyone looking for an authentic and serene experience in a stunning environment.

My favorite homestay so far! Bedhot has a very spacious communal space, full of plants, a little open bar, a kitchen, a playing and chilling corner, etc. Everything is furnished in traditional Javanese style, very unique and homey at the same time, a real Yogya experience! The staff were very helpful and friendly. They provide so many tours including when we wanted to rent a scooter. Breakfast was so good, some nights we even had dinner at the homestay. They always have beer Bintang and other drinks so no need to go outside. The room was comfy, loved the interior so much. Will pay a second visit!

A very beautiful complex in the style of a small oasis with great attention to detail. There are plenty of places to sit in the communal area to relax or talk to other guests. Each room is its own little house and also has seating on the veranda. The rooms are not luxurious, but have their own bathroom and everything you need. There is also a very nice cafe within walking distance (Mantra Bumi Café) as well as several ATMs at a nearby gas station. The staff are super friendly and always happy to help. Whether it's booking tours and tickets or driving to the sights. Special thanks to Endo who helped us from the airport on departure till the train station on departure with great tips. Not only about Yogyakarta but also about our other travel stops. A BIG THANK YOU!

If anything could be improved, it would be the storage space for cosmetics, toothbrushes, contact lenses, etc. At the washbasin.

What a beautiful place! Located a little bit outside the center (but only a short grab ride or not so short but doable walk away), Bedhot Homestay is a little oasis away from the hustle of the city. The room was as described and contained a big and comfy bed and the bathroom had always warm water and was clean as well :) We really enjoyed the lounge area, beautifully built in traditional style with wood and a lot of trees around. Very convenient that they offer food as well and the included breakfast was delicious! The owner and staff were really friendly and nice and help with everything you might need. Hope to come back and highly recommend to stay here ☺️

We booked the most basic room, which was basic (and cheap), but clean and comfortable for us. We had our own terrace and were close to the public areas which were very comfortable. The staff were amazing, all very well qualified and well travelled, so a mine of good information. The ambiance of the place is exceptional and its a great base for visiting Borobudur and Prambanam, but we were also surprised at how lovely Jogja city was and we hope to be back at some time soon. Bedhot also owns the restaurant of the same name in the city, so the food at the homestay is well above the average.

Its a little way out of the city, so you do need to use Grab to get taxis/taxi bikes in and out, but thats easy to do and cheap, so some people will see it as a plus to not have the noise of the city.

As a solo female traveller this was the perfect place to relax out of the city but easy enough to be scootered to food, drinks and sights. The staff were exceptional - very friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to help and advise, but will give you space to relax with a book if that's your thing. I loved wandering around the rural neighbourhood and felt very safe on my own. The owner organised a cycling tour for me which added another dimension to my enjoyment and understanding of the area. The room was simple and comfortable set in a beautiful, peaceful garden. The design of the property has been well thought out with Javanese furniture and buildings Javanese. This place made my trip to Yogjakarta!

We had an amazing stay here, it was the perfect way to start our trip in Indonesia. It was very easy to come and go from here.We took a Grab and in 20 mins, we were in the accommodation from the main train station. We rented a bike for our stay (higly recommended if you want to explore and experience the real chaotic Yogyakarta) The common area it's just lovely, warm and very stylish decorated, plants and small decorations full of meaning (pictures don't do justice to the beauty of the place). The room is cosy and bed is super comfy. Also,Hot water in the wild shower :) The best thing about this accommodation is the staff, the real soul of the place. They are very friendly and kind, making sure all your needs are met. If you want to rent a bike they will get it for you, no hustle. You want to go somewhere they will recommend the most scenic route for you. They share their recommendations with us, which was super helpful. They know how to get you from Yogyakarta to any other point on the map with no hustle, just ask them :) We wish all the best to them. It was real pleasure to meet them all.
