I came here by car with my family and we had one toddler. The location was strategic, easy to reach various main landmarks of the city. The property was very clean and the architecture of the property was pretty. the staff was kind and helpful. When we reported the problem with air conditioning, they sent immediately a specialized staff to solve the problem. We liked very much the facilities such as the gym, the swimming pool and the kids room. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a lot of options from sweet to savory, from western to traditional Javanese cuisine. Moreover, since we came during the holiday time, they had some entertainment for children, such as clowns and games and some animals on display.

The property has a kind of mini park that is regularly for rent for events such as wedding. I found this park however a little bit abandoned and not well maintained with a pile of woods in some corners, reducing the tidiness of the place. Some of the gym equipment were not functioning.

I chose the hotel mainly for the location and I was very happy with the facility in general. Breakfast was adequate but not elaborate and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The value was very good as well.

I would not call it dirty but more well worn. It's fairly well maintained but in a few spots you can see paint peeling off the wall or cobwebs that haven't been cleaned in a long time. The AC struggles to keep the humidity down much less cool the place.

The staff and the service are perfect, the building is a little bit older but very traditional and beautiful. The pool is clean and the water is cool even in the middle of the day. The location is close to lots of restaurant and shops, you can take a short ride to big shopping malls.

The building doesn't have any elevator but the staffs will help you with your luggage, so no worries. The cafe beside the pool is smokers friendly but the smell of smoke get into the building and the pool area.

The staff is very friendly, helpful, and quick to respond if there is problem. The breakfast was fabulous with broad menu selection. I love the classic Javanese ornament in the lobby and the serene ambiance.

One jar drinking water is too little for two person. May be you can put the drinking water dispenser in the hall way as compliment to the guests. There was no lift but a very elegance staircase. It can be a challenge for those with knee problem though.

The friendliness of staff especially front desk. They could not be more helpful! The Breakfast was outstanding, we never had a better one and we travel a lot. The Pool very clean and sunbeds and chairs with shade.

The bathroom old but ok, but the bathtub not so nice. One cannot open the windows and fresh air only by aircon. The aircon is not adjustable , we tried two rooms. It is much too could. Adjust the degrees does not help. So you have to turn on and off all the time.

Staffs were super duper friendly and helpful from front office to service staffs. Huge room with super affordable price. Great variety of breakfast and very clean. Super clean toilet at the hotel lobby and overall the hotel smells amazing.

My bedsheet and pillow cover have unpleasant smell. But very quickly the service staff changed the whole linen to a new one with no extra charges. Efficient. I just hope that they could pay extra attention to cleanliness of bed linen coz everything about the hotel was making me very happy except this one.

Beautiful pool, great shower, great choice in breakfast options and good dinner.

If I have to nitpick: there is no elevator so that can pose a problem for some. There didn’t seem to be more than one floor though. Also, if you are at the far end of a wing it is a bit of a walk to get to your room. Lastly, the noise from the open kitchen could be quite loud, and I wasn’t very fond of the gamelan muzak every morning at breakfast.

Beautiful hotel, spacious room, good facilities, excellent dining service. The pool was particularly beautiful, and the fitness center had a wonderful little garden.

Many staff members speak no or little English. The fitness center refused to lend me a yoga mat. Some corners had ancient dust. Not really close to anything, though taxi apps make it easy to go around.

Excellent place. We had a wonderful time. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We gave away our clothes for laundry by mistake, even though we had to leave early morning at 7am. When we informed the staff at 11pm the previous night, they got our clothes washed and neatly pressed within 30 minutes. Top class service!

It's a heritage hotel. The bathroom fittings are vintage. We enjoyed it. Not for the fussy ones.

From the moment I arrived, I felt--yes, felt--I made the right choice booking my stay at this heritage hotel. The check in was so pleasant and relaxing, the breakfast is amazing, the gym is a legit real gym, and the pool... the pool is a lake! A bonus is the neighborhood has many cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk.

I didn't want to leave!
