The room was clean, there was AC and hot water. You can use microwave and other things in the kitchen. The breakfast was really good. The staff was soo nice. They helped with everything without any negativity. You could hear the morning prayer but it was not too loud. You wake up and fall back asleep. There was even a small pool which we didnt have time to use. We also rented a scooter for a really good price. The best stay. I would definitlly come back again.

Pros: free breakfast, so kind and thoughtful for them to prepare this daily for guests! Cold aircon, comfortable bed, fridge and kitchen area in room as well as cooking area in common area, tea, coffee and sugar provided in room, clean bathroom, STAFF!! Such nice and welcoming staff, everyone was so kind, they make you feel at home.

Cons: as listed in previous reviews, it is right next to mosque, the prayers are 5 times a day and start around 445am. You will hear it very loudly. Keep in mind jogja is a Muslim community so there are mosques everywhere doing the same prayers.

The staff were always pleasant and helpful to deal with. The room was nice and clean and BIG, lots of room so you don't feel squeezed in and cooped up. The area was lovely, lots to do. The free breakfast was nice, though l would have also liked some options like instant oatmeal, or some more variation between days as it was mostly the same items each time. It was great knowing we could grab something quickly before heading out to see the sights. It was quiet, despite a mosque being next door. The loudest noises we heard from outside were children having fun playing. It's a very family oriented place.

There was a recurring issue with getting our second key card to work that was a bit annoying, but it was minor and not a big deal. The bathrooms I think could use some extra care in their design/implementation. The small sink with the shelf on top was difficult for a taller person to use, especially when brushing teeth if I didn't want to make a mess. A small gripe would also be privacy, we were on the second floor and looking out our window was right onto another two story house. So if you're looking for privacy, keep the curtains closed!

A wonderful little hotel, with exceptionally kind and welcoming staff, charming rooms, and much more on offer than one would typically find available. (The free water was a very considerate touch.) The room was clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette included, and a fully equipped communal kitchen available down the hall. The location was convenient to a minimart and several restaurants, and the hotel staff were very helpful with local recommendations and arranging tours/motorbike rental.

As mentioned in other reviews, the hotel is directly across from a mosque. This does mean that the two morning calls to prayer are very loud, and will likely interrupt your sleep (~5am and 5:30am). This is outside the control of the staff, of course, and they truly do an exceptional job of making up for the inconvenience, as their many positive reviews prove.

The staff very friendly, breakfast was delicious, location was great a lot of street food and IndoMart just walking distance.. Malioboro street is about 15min by Cars.. A lot of viral foods,cafe and warung less than 30min by cars.. It was a pleasure to stay here , i was staying here 5days.. I thinks people in Jogja was very friendly and the province area very clean.. For Non-Muslim travelers, yes , in front of the hotel have a mosque,but the Azans only take about less than 5mins, it wont disturb your sleeping, no worries😎 Thanks Again OMah Manis for the service👍👍👍

Such a nice and friendly place! Spacious room with a desk and enough space for the two of us. The room had a kettle and a fridge plus you can use the microwave in the kitchen area located on each floor. There's also a pool we didn't use. The staff were wonderful and helped out whenever we had an issue. Left us a breakfast box in the morning since we were leaving at 5 am. The breakfast was delicious, local food + European options to choose from.

The wifi sometimes was too slow, but that wasn't a problem since we had mobile data to use

The only thing we didn't like about the hotel is that it is located right in front of a Mosque so you can hear the speakers loud when they need to pray.

I liked the room and kitchenette - and also a shared kitchen down the hall. Breakfast was superb and the staff were wonderful. Pool area as nice after a hot day too.

The muezzin at the masjid next door - it’s so loud it’s like he’s in your room with a loud speaker at 4am!! Also the location is a way from the central area so it’s good if you don’t want to be central but not so good if you do

The friendliest staff! They did everything to help us and make our stay easy. This was so helpful and nice! We really liked staying here and were happy we chose this place. Nice pool, clean rooms, good AC. They cleaned our room every day and kept everything in perfect order! Beds were comfy.

The location is close to a busy street, but not that close to the city centre. The thing that gave us a bit of a headache, was the WiFi in our room. It didn’t work, and so we had to stand in the hallway to do our research etc. The mosque is also right in front of the hotel, so prepare to wake up around 04:30. We got used to it after 2 nights tho, not the worst.

The staff was amazing - they were very hospitable, and were always available to help with anything. The breakfast was amazing, with tons of different home-cooked options and good coffee. The bed and sheets were comfortable. The refillable filtered water is great. It was good value overall when compared to other stays in Yogyakarta.

It's not a fancy stay, so there are imperfections here and there (stains on the bedsheets, quite a few mosquitos, etc). The location was a bit far from the happening areas (either the train station, or even Prawirotaman street), so usually need to grab or taxi around. It's next to a mosque, so there's the early call to prayers that can wake some people up (it did not bother us though).
