Amazing family suite, large rooms with seperate 2nd bedroom was a massive plus, we had three bed (double and single in the large room with lots of room for travel cot, bags, clothes and room for. Kids to play) second bedroom had a double bed and was seperate which was a god send, the kids slept in the big room and we could go in and out without disturbing them. Good and staff are brilliant, friendly and helpful without being too intrusive, Super welcoming hotel with great location

The only thing that would have improved our stay was a bit of live music in the bar area in the evenings, other than that the hotel is great.

A lot to like. Good location as a base for exploring the area. Food was good and not overly expensive. Staff were friendly and were quick to ask if you were being looked after in the bar. Nice view from the bar and restaurant and the room. Our visit was well timed with a Cabaret style entertainment for the evening in the hotel.

Some of those who put on the entertainment for the night and others who came for the show seemed to be celebrating outside the hotel until sometime after 4am so there was quite a bit of noise which was a pity as it did interfere with an otherwise comfortable stay. Likely not to be an every day occurrence though!

A truly enchanting stay! The location, nestled amidst sea and mountains, felt like a slice of heaven. The low-hanging clouds added drama to the breathtaking views. The staff were attentive, and breakfast was delightful. The charming bridge just outside was straight out of a fairytale! The photos on Booking site didn’t display the exterior views, which surprised me because that’s the main attraction of this place. I traveled to Achill Island Hotel from the Cliffs of Moher, and the drive through Galway and County Mayo was one of the most scenic routes I’ve experienced in Ireland. County Sligo offers a wealth of activities, making this hotel ideally situated between Mayo, Galway, and Sligo for exploring all these places in just two to three days.

Summer is never complete without a couple of nights in Alice's. Going there for over 20 years now and always new improvements - such a well maintained family business and yet again they went out of their way to accommodate us. Beautiful food again especially the very generous kids half portion of roast 😋

Such a pity they can't control the weather. We had better weather in January last year. Any time of year is good to visit - hotel is so warm and cosy and even with bad weather beautiful views.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I stayed with my mother and my nephew and the room provided was perfect as there was a separate room for my nephew. The view from the room was gorgeous!

Well, the shower was hard to turn on. My nephew figured it out so we had him turn it on for myself and my mother before we took ours. Also the light for the bathroom was in an unusual place. And one time we ran out of toilet paper while the front desk was unmanned so that was an interesting event!

I like the historical-look of the property...if those walls could talk. It was close to other amenities such as shopping, grocery, restaurants/pubs. It rained the entire time we were there, but that is not the property's fault.

This was a last minute booking due to an Airbnb cancelation. The king size bedroom, with a view was pretty cool. We did not stay in a room like that, but I would stay in that type of room. We were in a family room, which was alright.

The outside drinking /eating area has fabulous views. The bar staff were lovely, very helpful with recommendations. Great value for a large room with access to Achill.

The outside drinking /eating area has basic and limited seating, for such a gorgeous location. I imagine demand would be an issue on a warm day. Deserves some investment. For people with mobility issues, No! There is no lift, there are zero grab bars etc.

The staff were very pleasant and the food was very good. It was in a great location for visiting the islands.

The room was clean but could do with a bit of a freshen up. The lights were very dim for putting on make up or looking in the full length mirror by the door as it was to dark.
