Comfortable and welcoming

Like so many hotels these days… no soap bar, but the tiny liquid soap bottles where empty and just had the lids but back on and not replaced

Staff and food were absolutely great. We have had a few bad experiences lately in 4 star hotels, where the staff were very uninterested and the food was disappointing. The staff of the Bunratty Manor Hotel restored our hope that Irish hotels have the ability to make it again after the pandemic, if they make sure to hire staff who are naturally hospitable!! The food was delicious and we enjoyed dining there both evenings of our stay. I had mentioned to a colleague where we were going to stay and her comment was "you will be well looked after" and she was right!

The hotel was lovely. Welcoming lobby manned by a very friendly lady that was only too happy to tell us how far we were from the castle/pubs and general rundown on Bunratty The bedroom was lovely, spacious and the en suite was a good size with a nice shower There is a large resident's lounge with armchairs and small tables where one can relax in small groups or larger groups if you so wish There is also the bar where you can have a few drinks or a night cap and of course a large dining room The diningroom does not open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, except for breakfast, in November so we dined 3 minutes walk away where we had a good choice of where we wanted to dine Comfort wise you couldn't ask for better. It is not a modern "precast" hotel but neither is it made out to be. It would take away from it if it was This is a beautiful hotel with all modern facilities blended with a lavish amount of friendliness, going the extra mile to help & be of assistance to you and "part of the family" atmosphere I can not recommend it enough and cannot wait to return again

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting the Bunratty castle and walking distance to it as well as restaurants and shopping. They also have an amazing restaurant and pub in the hotel itself. We actually stayed twice because it was such a perfect stay. Once in the beginning and once at the end of our trip. It’s only a 10 minutes drive to the Shannon airport. The staff were all welcoming and accommodating.

There is nothing we didn’t like.

All the food was five-star quality and absolutely delicious. I have several food allergens, and they made excellent accommodations and exceeded expectations. All the staff was super friendly and accommodating, and even explained how all the outlets and switches worked for the European 220 V system , radiator heat and underfloor heating in the bathroom. I loved that. I could just walk down the road and be near the bunratty castle and an entire shopping area with an excellent lunch place and quality Irish wool clothing.

It was a little noisy until 11 PM Friday night outside, the window as I could hear people walking and talking. But I fell asleep, very soundly and very comfortable and had a great night sleep my first day in Ireland after a long flight.

This is a lovely comfortable hotel. It is within walking distance of the Bunratty attractions - i.e Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, Durty Nellys famous pub and restaurant, and small shopping area / restaurants, coffee shops/ Aran sweater shop etc. The hotel itself is extremely comfortable, has a lovely residents lounge, and of course a bar. Breakfast was perfect, great choice and very reasonable. All the staff were extremely friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again.

The only thing which might improve your stay is a lift. I feel a lift is rather essential for more mature(!) residents.

There is nothing not to like about the Bunratty Manor. The hotel is walking distance to Bunratty Castle, Durty Nellies and shops/restaurants. It is also a close ride to the airport and major roadways. We were greeted with a big hello and smile by Fiona, the owner. Our room and the bathroom were large. Great shower!! We met up with Fiona's husband, Noel, our first night and each night after he greeted us with smiles and "how was your day". Breakfast was delicious and the staff were delightful to chat with. The restaurant is frequented by locals so you know it is good food. We would end each day with a pint and chat it up with the bar staff - great people!!!

It was exactly as advertised. Room was on ground floor as promised and totally adequate. Food was better than expected , only had one breakfast but was surprised that you paid basically for what you ordered. Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Village has other pubs and shopping but we stayed as it was central to other places such as Limerick and The Cliffs of Moher. Plenty of parking on site.

Loved that this hotel was so close to the Blarnet Woolen Mills shops, the Creamery, Durty Nelly's, and Bunratty Castle. The room was lovely and the beds super comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and roomy.

I was surprised that it was room only with only the option to have breakfast there, which was the first accommodation this trip to Ireland. They said that rooms booked through Booking.com don't come with breakfast.

the room was very cozy and welcoming. everything was exceptionally clean. the common areas were wonderful. The on site restaurant was exceptional. the service and food rivaled Wildes at the Lodge at Ashford Castle. The steak was absolutely top notch due for. Fiona was a very welcoming host. I would rate it a 15 if we could. Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a wonderful stay. also 5 minute walk to Bunratty Castle
