We had to change the date of our arrival because of weather conditions and this was no problem. I informed the hotel prior to our stay that we were celebrating our anniversary. Our room was upgraded free of charge. No.(62). The room was one of the best and most comfortable rooms that we have ever stayed in. The bathroom was wonderful, it had a great shower and a jacuzzi bath for your convenience. WOW!!. Thank you bush hotel for helping us have a wonderful and unforgettable anniversary. We will be back. 10/10.

Breakfast was very good and staff were brilliant. Not a good sign though of cartons of juice (kaluna) in the fridge to refill the jugs as you are offering fresh juice (which should be at the price)..hide the cartons! Also no yogurt available ..otherwise lovely breakfast and very attentive staff.

Paying what we did for 1 night and having to negotiate buggys and meeting people in lifts with nightwear (dressing gown) was quite surprising to say the least! Everyone has an entitlement to accomodation i accept but when paying for the privilege expect certain standards.

The location is excellent. The staff were just so friendly and helpful. Everyone was willing to help in any way. The room was lovely but personally we prefer a king bed. The double bed is quite small for two adults

The only fault we have is that we felt it was very overpriced for the type of hotel it is. The facilities are limited and it is more of a boutique hotel. We paid €657 for 3 nights and that was room only. We thought at that price we should at least have breakfast included. That was very disappointing. When I saw the breakdown we paid €300 for the Sat night and that I thought was an outrageous price

This is an old hotel who offer good old fashioned hospitality, not many frills but very comfortable, excellently located and very good value for money. We will definitely use it as a base to explore the area in the future.

Limited bar options on the night we stayed but this really wasn't a problem as there are so many options on the doorstep.

On arrival the guy on reception ( can't remember his name, apologies) looked after us straight away. Helped us secure our bikes overnight and gave us very useful info on the area. He was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic and great value for money. I would highly recommend anyone staying to avail of the breakfast. We will certainly be back for a longer stay.

A minor complaint is the lack of a late drink for residents but there are plenty of bars open late so perhaps this is not necessary.

Breakfast was very good, except the avocado had gone bad. But everything else was fantastic, staff was attentive and friendly. Loved the coffee!

I grew up eating a lot of avocado, we had avocado trees, it's not good to serve bad avocado. If its not a bright healthy green - it's rotten. Avocados have a very short life for consumption and are temperamental, you cut it open and that's it; serve the entire avocado immediately. You should probably take it off your menu, they are too delicate.

The Bush hotel is very Central, The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast exceeded our expectations as we ordered a mini Irish Breakfast and were surprised with all we got. Would recommend to anyone wishing to stay.

The only negative was the beds were a bit hard and a heavy duvet was a bit too heavy.

Welcoming, friendly, helpful staff - particularly allowing us to store bikes and panniers securely inside the building overnight and throughout the following day even after we had checked out of the room. Someone also gave me extra milk sachet/mini cartons in the morning. Midday checkout was fantastic for teenagers

For four of us, there could perhaps have been an extra bottle of water in the room. We ran out of milk for tea in the room in the morning - though this was remedied

The room was so big, way bigger then expected and the bathroom spotless. The beds were comfy and clean with great access around the hotel and the staff super helpful on check in and out. The food was very tasty and well priced also

My only fault was all the bags of laundry left outside each room and then the carriers left beside the lifts where guests had to pass. It did feel very like walking past a basement where all the cleaning stuff was left but other then that the hotel was fantastic

Great location in the town with excellent parking facilities. Hotel was like a museum (in a good way) with lots of local memorabilia to see and read about. Fascinating history available to guests. Breakfast was very good and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Hotel was very quiet as it was mid-week and no functions on. Maybe different if there was a big party in the function area below our room.

Hotel was a little 'tired' in places and the decor looked slightly past it best. However after the last few years of disruption this is not surprising. Not sure why the main bar was always closed but the local bars in the street were great so this was only a minor negative point.
