The staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained. Our room was very clean and well-equipped (it even had a yoga mat). The kitchen had all the necessary equipment and accessories for our stay (including some spices and dishwasher detergent). The bathroom was clean and very nice as well. The bed was comfortable, and it was very easy to control the room’s temperature. The location was excellent, with a metro station right next to the hotel. However, we only used it once since walking to the tourist attractions was pleasant and manageable. There are also a few supermarkets nearby, which made it convenient to buy groceries. The hotel also has a café and several workspaces in common areas, equipped with power outlets and USB/USB-C ports. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, and I was happy to learn they have locations in other European cities. It’s undoubtedly a great option for trips.

I was a bit disappointed with the overhead shower—it didn’t have as much pressure as I expected (but nothing that ruined the experience).

Location is great, tram stop right in front, airport bus stop 100 m away, super market 100 m away. Becket Locket has a modern vibe and the staff are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Important: there are hugely different rooms within the same category; we suggest to stay on as high a floor as possible with a view to the south or east, other rooms are dark; the rooms in the middle of each side are a bit larger than those close to corners. Good, functional kitchen and in-room laundry facilities.

Building is relatively modern. I got a mini-apartment with a kitchen/living room and a separate bedroom. The bed was comfortable and the venue is not noisy, in spite of the construction site in front — very good sound insulation. Staff is very friendly.

#1 gripe: there's a fully-fitted kitchen, but you can't open any windows! It's impossible to get some clean air again into the living room after cooking. (There's an extractor above the hob, sure, but it can't do much, even at full power.) Construction quality is questionable in some details (e.g. the toilet paper support cannot stand straight, same for some of the hinges that hold the pantry doors, or light switches), but that doesn't really detract too much from the experience.

Almost everything was beautiful. Access to the facilities were mostly well kept. The location of the apartments was convenient to the rail station which was a big help as renting a car was not needed.

Housekeeping left my door wedged open all day while I was away so anyone could have entered my room and stolen my things and also left a cleaning rag on top of my clothing. The bed was hard and somewhat lumpy. There were no instructions in the kitchen to use any of the appliances (my spouse is European and didn't know how to use the microwave oven combo even). Check-in time is average for the area which is 4pm but there is an offered early check in time for a 10 Euro fee but it only allows "early" check in of 2 hours so you check in at 2pm. That seems ludicrous to charge that kind of fee for 2 hours.

The location and decor was fantastic. I loved the combination of great hotel elements (lovely toiletries, fluffy towels, superb rainfall shower) with apartment amenities (a couch to relax and read on, a kettle to make tea, a very well equipped kitchen to make breakfast/simple suppers and a table to eat at). I really liked the eco considerations too - eco-friendly washing up liquid and toiletries - plus a neat yoga mat in case I wanted to do stretches in my room. I will definitely look into staying at Locke again in Dublin and in other cities that I visit.

A note to say how the yoga mat had been cleaned would have been nice - I could have asked the friendly reception team but I forgot. The main area downstairs was fabulously maintained and looked like a nice place to relax but the carpet and paint in the upstairs corridor en route to my room was a bit worn out (admittedly, this is generally an issue in other hotels - so maybe look at more hard wearing textiles and a regular repaint so it all looks fresh and crisp - then I can give 10/10 instead of 9/10 for my stay :)

We have been travelling for some months and this property is one of the best we have stayed. The room was very clean and really well equipped. The location was outstanding. Although you COULD walk to the City Centre, Becketts Lock is right at the tram stop with short trip to the city centre. Supermarket 50m away (and more shops coming soon). A number of nice restaurants and bars within 100m and the Airport bus 100m away. Well equipped gym (which is often hard to verify on a website) We loved the video instructions on how to use the appliances.

Nothing ... but it would be great to have information on how the Tram ticketing works at the accommodation (but the staff were helpful in explaining)

It was a great experience. Kitchen was about perfect including sharp kitchen knifes, which is rare. Bed comfy and large. No noise from neighbors. Power sockets where you need them. Friendly staff. Location literally next to tram stop so city centre was easily accessible. Also walking towards the city center was nice as there is pedestrian-only corridor between the modern buildings, except for detour around huge construction site.

There were only minor things I could complain about: - Lightning in my room was so dim that it was hard to read papers and not fall asleep :-) Window was too small to let enough daylight in. - Sometimes air felt really dry. - Power switches off when you leave your room do you cannot leave with dishwasher or washing machine running.

Staff are super friendly and helpful (hats off to Mario and Margo). The room was very comfortable and fully furnished - the kitchen was very well equipped, and I also had a dishwasher, a microwave, and a washing machine in my room (you can even access their instruction manuals if you need to). Location of the hotel is great, just a few minutes away from the city centre (you can walk, or go by bus or tram). 3Arena is right around the corner, so the hotel is a great place to stay if you're catching a show. There are coffee shops and markets nearby to stock your fridge. The hotel also has a restaurant and plenty of common spaces to chill or work.

Not a bad side to the hotel, but something to help you plan - 3Arena is right around the corner from the hotel, which means the area and public transport can get crowded before and after shows.

It was easy to book and change to early check-in. The staff was very friendly and helpful upon check-in as well (and throughout our stay). We loved having a little kitchen and washer/dryer! We used all appliances and felt like we had a solid "home base". Having 2 bathrooms with each bedroom was also a HUGE bonus! The towel warmers in each bath was lovely as well. The showers were great with nice heads and sprayer, and the water pressure was just right. Additionally, there was no need to run the water for a time before it came up to temperature. The beds were very comfy and cozy. Nice quality sheet and comforter. Once we got rid of the jet lag, I slept like a baby. The location was ideal. Not in the thick of it, but right at the end of the Red Line transit, making it VERY easy to get to and from City Center. We bought a weekly visitor pass for the Luas line, and it was perfect! I will be recommending Beckett Locke to anyone who wants to stay in Dublin!

Loved the whole apartment especially the bathroom and shower. Bed was very comfortable and we had chrome cast on the tv. The block out curtains were great and the kitchen had everything we needed except for a pair of tongs. The location was fantastic with cafes and a supermarket across the road. The point tram stop was right out of the building and the river and bus stops less than a block away. The cafe downstairs made decent coffee and had great pastries. The yoga mat in the room was a helpful touch and I used it every day. I would definitely stay in a locke property again.

The cooktop - we are used to a gas cooktop and the one in the apartment was a flat glass electric thing. It took forever to cook food on it.
