We were tourists when the war broke out while we were staying at this hotel. We would like to express our gratitude to the manager who offered us a discounted room rate and allowed us to remain in our room until our flight. Additionally, we would like to extend our thanks to the hotel staff who remained calm and provided unwavering support during these challenging times. Special thanks go to Alena, Anastasia, Thomas, Katya, Rita, Mustafa, and Maximus, who helped us go through these circumstances. We felt safe at the hotel, especially due to the presence of shelters on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th floors. The hotel also continued to provide breakfast daily, regardless of the ongoing war, which helped us maintain a semblance of normalcy. As far as we know, this hotel remained open and hosted many people from southern cities seeking safety. Once again, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for everything you've done for us, and we hope that you all stay safe during these challenging times. We hope for a swift end to the war.

We came to this hotel, after canceling our reservation at a nearby hotel, which was a complete mess. We came to LightHouse at 18:00, with no reservations or anything. The lobby room was so welcoming, and gorgeous, with a good smell and design, so we understood we must stay in there. We booked our room through booking.com in 5 minutes, and after the staff of the hotel checked us in. A man by the name of Avi was very nice to us and did his job as a professional. Accidentally, they upgraded our room to a view both of the city and the sea. We were lucky! When we got into the room, it was fresh in there and smelled like an orange. It was clean and pleasant as well. The windows were big, and a little dirty, but it didn’t ruin our evening:) the view was great! We had the 8th floor. Everything we needed was in the room and a nice little reminder that they are taking care of us - very tasty chocolate and two bottles of water. On the tv, in the room, we were playing music through youtube. The shower was clean and beautiful. The terrace and the room where we had our breakfast which was nice. Comfortable chairs, tasty breakfast. The coffee machine didn’t work on weekends, but we got some other, not great not terrible coffee. We liked jahnun and burekas, as well, as desserts. The cheesecake and chocolate pie was really good. The location of the hotel is perfect. Nearby we had a beach, the center city where we found the amazing restaurant of Indian food and a cinema.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast is phenomenal, and the choice and variety are endless. I stayed for a week and never got tired of the breakfast, and I tried something new every day. The location is fantastic: 3 minutes from the beach and many restaurants and shops. Many bus routes are nearby and can take you anywhere in Tel Aviv—10 min Dizengoff Square. The bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable. The TV has a great variety of channels and a YouTube app. The shower is good! The AC works great. I wish it had a sleep mode because the low mode is way too strong, and I wasn't able to set a desirable temperature during the night. The staff is friendly and nice. Also, the price was great when I booked, so the value for the money was excellent. I definitely would stay again if I had the opportunity.

The only downside is the cleanliness. I had some stains on the floor and small trash behind the curtains, which a cleaning lady removed after I pointed them out. However, small details like light switches and the remote need more attention from the cleaning staff. My room and the floor I was on needed small renovations here and there, but when I was leaving, I saw some upgrades. My safe didn't work, but that wasn't a big issue for me. Overall, there are no major issues, and if you need help, the staff is there to fix things.

Location is great and very central. Staff were amazing and let me check in early and late. Security is excellent.

The building works on Ben Yehuda and Allenby means taxis etc. can’t get too close so something to consider with luggage. The hotel is also unfinished on many levels so it feels a bit chaotic. My bathroom floor was sticky and there were flies on arrival and no one noticed until I pointed it out.

The food was great, the staff was very nice and the beds were comfortable. Also we received a nice sea view room. The massage we received at the spa was also very good. There were plenty of businesses and restaurants around the hotel and the location was close to the beach. The entire hotel has a specific theme and style.

The hotel was in an old building and a few parts of the building were actually abandoned. The hotel has a dark gothic artsy theme that for some people could be unwelcoming. Activities in the hotel are no longer available such as the jacuzzi on the balcony.

Nice concept, good room design and size, amazing breakfast, plants in breakfast room. Nice touch with cava upon arrival even though the receptionist didn't actively offer it to us haha.

Some parts are dilapidated, for example the gym is quite well equipped but a bit depressing and hard to find. Also there was a broken light fixture hanging in one of the gym rooms. There's an amazing rooftop bar but the receptionist didn't know much about and didn't promote it. We discovered it by chance, what a shame, you guys could have some cooperation with them and do offers and events. One of the elevators' video and music wasn't working properly, otherwise it's a super fun feature. Check-in could be quicker.

Right out of a sci-fi movie where a 1980’s Mall Escalator with Hollywood lights dead ends into a baby grand piano in the gym/bomb shelter. The location and views are nice, and yes, the drone attack from Yemen did explode 100m down the street and everything was fine. Good bones.

It needs a bit of love. Water leaking from condensing units all over, not well kept up and half that disco escalator is broken. The staff doesn’t seem engaged, especially the manager who just expects the one woman to do everything herself. Cafe staff is more animated.

I love that the hotel is dog friendly. The decor and ambience is wonderful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and healthy. Their outdoor rooftop area is beautiful and green. I also loved that they gave free bike rentals and give a towel for the beach. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would go back! The staff knew we were celebrating something special by our trip and they had wine and chocolate and dessert waiting for us in our room!!

They knew we were coming early - an hour before check-in, as we told them, but our room wasn't ready yet. And it wasn't ready until 15 minutes after normal check-in time. Also it took about 45 minutes of waiting from when we requested that our luggage be checked so we could go out while we waited for the room to be ready until the luggage was taken. When I called the spa, no one answered. Also when I went down to check it out, there was no one working there to book a spa treatment. I went after 10 am. There should be more lighting in the hallways of the rooms, as it's a bit too dark.

We absolutely adored our stay at the hotel; it left us with the impression that every detail had been meticulously considered. The breakfast experience was particularly outstanding, offering an array of delectable vegan options. To top it off, we were fortunate to enjoy a partial sea view from our room. The hotel's location is good, just a short stroll away from the seashore and from Shuk Hacarmel, where you'll find a bustling marketplace with a vibrant atmosphere. In the evening, the neighborhood truly comes to life, with a plethora of charming restaurants opening their. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to discover a delightful assortment of cakes awaiting us in our room, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, we enjoyed our night there!

The primary challenge was parking, as it proved to be a bit of a hassle. Additionally, the city's vibrant energy did come with some noise, exacerbated by ongoing construction work nearby. Yet, these factors were hardly a surprise given the bustling nature of Tel Aviv. Overall, our stay at the hotel was a wonderful experience, and the minor inconveniences were outweighed by the nice hospitality and attention to detail.

Great location and really friendly staff. Loved the sea view from both my room and the 5th floor restaurant. Manager Michael and counter staff Dan and the ladies were very helpful with many issues like calling a cab, etc. I recall seeing the counter ladies fighting sleepy eyes without an off day during Passover and yet dealing patiently with holiday jam. Impressed.

Lighting in the room and bathroom is scarce, very Gothic by design. It's cool but an option to increase lighting would be great, especially in the bathroom when shaving 😅
