Hotel was great.

Only English language channel on TV in room was Aljazeera.

We had a junior suite - room was lovely and spacious with a huge comfortable bed. There was lots of storage space, a big bathroom with a large walk-in rainfall shower, even had 2 sinks! Really nice, large balcony with plenty of seating overlooking the pool and full view of the sea. The room was very quiet and we both slept really well. The mini bar is free until it runs out which was a nice touch. The lobby is really smart and clean with friendly reception staff. The outside bar area is really nice with plenty of tables and the pool area is nice and quiet, fairly spacious with plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds and another bar there where they also do lunchtime snacks. The breakfast area is huge with no issue getting a table, and lots of stations so no queuing anywhere. Plentiful selection of food. The location of the hotel is perfect, a 10 minute walk into the main part of the town with all the bars and restaurants, but there are also some nice bars only 2 minutes walk from the hotel. It's about a 15 minute walk to the train station, which we used a couple of times as the train is very very cheap and easy to use and runs up and down the coast between Fuengirola and Malaga. Tip, if you want to save paying around 40 euros for taxi from airport, get the train, cost less than 6 euros for 2 of us. Then less than 10 euros for taxi from station to hotel. It's also a 15 minutes walk to the bus terminal where you can get a bus up to Mijas Pueblos, well worth a visit. We had a lovely time at this hotel and would definitely consider returning. Feungirola is also a really lovely resort with a great seafront and plenty of options for eating and drinking, and lots of places you can visit whilst there.

Just a couple of things, there are no mattresses with the sunbeds at the pool (which we've had at other hotels) and you do end up quite numb if you don't keep moving position, this would be a really nice addition and make the hotel almost perfect. Also, you have to pay to use the room safe, this is unusual and seems rather unnecessary.

It was an excellent stay, we were a family of 4 (2 x adults and 2 x children 15 & 14). We stayed for a total of 9 nights in August and the weather was perfect. Rooms were amazing, cleaned every day (Flora did a great job), we took 2 x suites facing the sea. The staff was amazing (we didn't speak much Spanish) but it wasn't a problem to communicate. - Breakfast was very good with many choices...even when we told the waiter we got Gluten Free items on every meal - Dinner was included in the half board and had great selection (Mexican night , BBQ night, Seafood night, .....) and always there is a fish selection for healthy diet Location was superb, we rented a car from the airport and drove around all Andalusia and used to come back to the hotel end of day. The hotel was a walking distance to Fuengirola attractions, restaurants. (We advise everyone to go outside the hotel at night and take a walk or have a drink after dinner). The beach, Grocery store, pharmacy is less than 1 minute on foot and this was another advantage.... Pool was great, busy but that was expected. (Bed to be reserved around 10:00 am, but can't do that more than 1 hour without attendance especially....(Hint) You need to ask the staff to free the beds without attendance... When we told the reception that we need a cake for our daughter's birthday, the feedback was amazing and next day a cake was brought to our table.

- Car parking was a total mess......Hotel doesn't support and we are left on our own to tour the city to find a spot. Car parks cost 22 Euros / 24 hours

Lovely modern contemporary hotel, clean airy modern room, good size bathroom with great shower, only negative lack of English TV channels, excellent breakfast, superb variety, well cooked in nice modern restaurant. Outdoor restaurant / snack bar and bar all great, good variety and value for money for 4 Star hotel. Pool area is great, nice pool, but did get busy during my stay. Great friendly customer service from all team members I engaged with.

Pool area not open until 10:00am, we had to queue up until the gates unlocked, I'm an early riser and like to be by the pool from 8:30am / 9:00am, appreciate preparation has to be done but never had this before. Lack of English TV channels, couldn't get BBC World News, not a massive issue as used my phone for updates.

Loved the hotel, The room was great. Fab location. Clean and tidy.

We were told every room had sea view, this was wrong, they have lateral views and we paid an extra 80 euro for our stay and even the room we got was in between high rise buildings in front, so basically a lateral view. Also no kettle in room. The pool was not as it seems,very small and people queuing even in September, not much coverage if you like the shade, beds way too close together. We ended up on beach every day at a cost of 14 euro per day, that's ok we enjoyed it. Overall I wouldn't put people off staying there as its a 1 minute walk to the beach and 15 mins walk to fish alley which is fabulous. The hotel is spotless and staff are excellent. We will be back

Location, clean hotel, confortable bed (on the soft side), good break-fast, renovated facilities, nice pool area.

The rooms have very poor soundproofing, you can hear everything from the hall, the other rooms and from outside (and sometimes during the night there is a lot of noise outside). We had to ask for pool towels at the reception desk as there are none in the rooms. You have to leave a 10 euro deposit for each pool towel. You can get free clean pool towels only every 3 other days (otherwise you pay 2 euros per towel/day). They also request a 20 euro deposit for an iron and you have to get it at the reception desk. To use the safe box you have to pay 3 euros per day. All these deposits and extra charges are annoying for a four star hotel. Also, the coffee was bad.

Room great, location great, lobby design, space and comfort great, breakfast was superb. lovely outside pool, seating area, bar area. Car park underneath very handy. Would highly recommend and will most likely return.

Surprised I had to pay for the use of the safe in the room. The money and principal is not my issue, but any other 4-star hotels I have been in provide tea/coffee, and a free use safe as standard. I paid for safe, didnt bother with tea/coffee. In conclusion, no issues, but paying for Safe use is not typical of 4-star service.

Breakfast and dinner was excellent with plenty choice. The location was perfect and the view from our room was amazing. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The maid for our room cleaned our room very well and went the extra mile.

Only complaint I have was the swimming pool. Some guests put towels down on the beds as soon as the pool was opened, only to disappear. Many left the Sun loungers unoccupied for many hours with their towels on them. The hotel should introduce a policy that towels will be removed and loungers made available if unoccupied for an hour. I have seen this sort of policy at other top hotels.

Breakfast was excellent. Really liked the fact that your system picked up on the fact that my wife's birthday occurred during our stay and that this was marked appropriately. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our time at the hotel. We had the buffet dinner twice and also ate several times in the lobby bar. We found both outlets very satisfactory. And excellent value for money.

The bathroom design was not to our liking. It is difficult to use the shower without causing a minor flood and we both found the location of the toilet roll dispenser to be inconvenient

The view from the room was beautiful and it was wonderful to see the sunrise and hear the sound of the waves. The hotel was spotless and all the staff were very polite, helpful and professional, they were a credit to the hotel. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sun/ shade.

The food at breakfast was good but the evening food was mediocre. The main reason for this is the temperature of the hot food. The choice was limited for us as there was a lot of oil and garlic even on the vegetables. The cost of the safe and kettle was an extra 6 euros a day.
