Even though the price was a little higher than what we normally pay, we did enjoy the environment. We had hoped to enjoy the beautiful lounge/bar area but we didn't have the extra time. The area has a wonderful feel to it and the interior of the room is very cozy - dark colors, feels "woodsy". Clean and comfy! You can walk to places to eat nearby or eat on the premises, you're in a good location. The toiletries smell so nice, just FYI.

You have to climb stairs to the second floor, no elevator. It's OK for me but important to know if that's an issue for you.

The lobby is super fun, very welcoming staff, and delicious beverages and snacks! Coffee was perfect! Super dog friendly and there were so many thoughtful touches everywhere (common spaces and guest rooms)- too many to list them all! Manager was friendly and helpful in making our stay fun and very comfortable. We loved playing in the game room and hanging out on the awesome patio with fire pits while listening to great music!

Not a huge issue, just currently renovating the pool (which is very exciting and will surely be wonderful once it’s finished!). The walkways could be power washed once it’s all done :)

The food and coffee is always exceptional here. The vibe in the restaraunt, bar, and patio are always amazing. The room was clean and the staff are friendly.

We had requested a lower level room since we were traveling with a pet. We stayed at this hotel the month before and spoke to the front desk to arrange to meet our request, however when we arrived we had a second story room and were told they were full on the first floor. This was very inconvenient due to having to navigate the stairs with a small dog day and night. Especially when we had made arrangements in advance.

Loved the pool, game room, fire pits, and General Store. The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable. The pour over Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea drops in the room were yummy. I wish we could have had those replenished to enjoy again for our second morning there. The tape player with the cassettes were a cool touch. The room was simple, clean and comfortable.

No microwave in the room, and the only ice machine was located on the second floor. It was a bit of a trek from where our room was located.

Staff was great. Loved the bar, the porch, and the market. Pool area was under construction, but I knew it was closed before making my reservation. Very cool vibe. Love that it's so dog friendly.

It was probably because of the construction, but the landscaping was overgrown. I also had to pay $125 for my dogs for one night which I thought was pricey, but again, I expected it. Just had no choice and had to bring them.

This hotel is AMAZING! From the moment we walked in to check-in, we knew that our stay was going to be pleasant. The lobby is beautiful and the check-in/out process is simple. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfy with tons of hooks and open air hangers(no more occupying every chair in your room with your bags!), it was honestly one of the best layouts I’ve ever seen in a hotel room. The bathroom was fantastic, had great amenities, and again, very well thought out. The thing that really sold this place was the amount of detail that went into everything you see. Every piece is beautifully detailed—from the key cards to the property maps to the pens and coasters— you can tell someone spent a lot of time making this place so special. The sweetest thing is the cassette player and themed mixtapes in the room, which we loved listening to while we relaxed in the room.

The parking lot seemed to have something going on when we were there, as about a third of the spots were marked off with cones. But really that wasn’t a problem.

The location was pretty good, however the prices at the hotel were insane. I’d not recommend eating or getting drinks there. Go out and explore the area, it’ll add more experience and a few extra buck to your budget.

I can’t complain about the hotel or the staff. Please rethink your decisions about the extra prices on your premises like the restaurant and the bar. We’ve been around the world and the prices for the food you’ve provided aren’t worth it.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The ambience, style, and overall vibe of this place was really cool! The rooms were big, clean, and very retro. The bed's here are genuinely the most comfortable I've ever slept on, seriously the best. The bar, general store area was actually so convenient and well stocked. Enjoyed playing some pool in the lounge area too. I would absolutely suggest this place to anyone staying in Flag.

The lounge area was great with bar, games and simple but tasty snacks. The jacuzzi was really nice. Romm was spacious and comfortable.

The fire pits were pretty but did not really provide any heating which seems like a waste. Maybe some panels could store and irradiate heat? The heating in the rooms were rather noisy.

The styling of the hotel main areas and the ambience for the kids was great.

The pool was closed for refurbishment and there was building work going on. I rated facilities 2 out of 4 because of the pool closure and building works that mean the outside decking area for breakfast wasn't really useable, due to the sound of power tools. Otherwise it would be a 3/4 given the price point.
