Breakfast very good, well set up

We did request rooms together but on arrival they had split us out to different floors, did on 2nd request put us on same floor but spread out...noting hotel was fully booked or crowded and reservations had been made couple months in advance...also specifically choose this hotel, costing more$ for the pool...but did not use as water was very cold and uninviting...would have liked some pick of rooms and change in towels for 3 night stay...rooms never touched

It was clean and quiet. Staff was prompt in helping with a problem

Our phone and tv didn't work initially. Apparently there had been a power outage and that messed things up. But they reset the tv and the phone wasn't that big of a deal. The pool had no water in it. So that was a bit of a bummer.

I am a former hotel GM, and worked in the hospitality industry for about 5 yrs. I will do inspections of rooms and write on line reviews. The rooms were nice, (watch the bathroom vents). I liked the room condition and overall amenities, including the breakfast presentation.

It is hard to find a front desk person (but I also understand they are working behind the scenes. I'd suggest a courtesy phone, something to pick up that rings to the attendant. This gives the front desk flexibility, but also a great tool to take care of people standing in the lobby waiting : ) We had to extend the stay due to the derecho storm that took out power at home. We had to move into another room. May I suggest (as long as the room types match), to allow current guests to remain in the original room and re-assign the new incoming guest to another new room number. We did it all the time at the Choice hotels I worked for. It's more efficient. It will only work however, if the room types match up, and durations of stay, but it works great : )

Excellent breakfast offering, and well-displayed. The beds were comfortable and there are ample pillows. Overall, a nice stay.

We stayed due to the derecho that took out the electricity at home. We had to extend our stay. Rather than reassigning an incoming guest (of same room type to another room number), I had to relocate to another room. I'd recommend trying to keep current guests in their same room (unless duration and room type becomes an issue during a sold out situation). Simply reassigning the incoming guest works great, I used to work in the hotel industry, we did that all the time : )

We didn’t get up earlier enough for breakfast. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful!!

There was a wedding party booked for the weekend and they were yelling in the hall way, banging doors, and being intoxicated at 12:15 am If they knew that there was going to be parting in the rooms then they should have put them at one end of the hall way or on a separate floor. It made for a long Sat night and then had to get up early to get everything packed up and on the road. The room phone should also have the front desk programmed into it for emergencies like described above. I was scared thinking they were trying to break into someone’s room.

Breakfast was typical fare, but good. Guestroom and bathroom exceptionaly clean. 😃 Staff friendly and helpful, made excellent suggestions regarding restaurants in the area.

Bed was a little too soft. Shower spray could be stronger (difficult to rinse out hair).

The hotel was fine

They did not have my reservation Checking in took more than 1 hour because you did not forward my reservation

Everything was so clean, the staff was super friendly, and the rooms were so comfortable! The only hotel worth staying at in Columbia City!

Only negatives were that the pool wasn’t heated and the trash cans in the room weren’t big enough, but that is nitpicking.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Staff was very friendly, walked up to our room with us when we couldn’t figure out the tv and thermostat (we were tired 😙). Loved the room setup.

The breakfast was great and the food was delicious.

I wish the swimming pool would have been open. It is a nice pool and one of the main reasons why I have stayed at the hotel.
