The Fairmont is a historic hotel in the centre of Copley Plaza. The location is excellent and is in the heart of Back Bay which is a great location for first time visitors. We had a rental car with us and the hotel had a free valet service. The interiors of the hotel definitely give an old-timey feel, so if you're into history and architecture, then you'll definitely be pleased. I thought the elevator had a slight old smell (perhaps moldy or rusty? i dont know) but not significant enough for my rating to be affected. I travelled with my family of 4 and stayed in a Double Queen bed room. The room is well equipped and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included in our package and the food was decent as well. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend.

We’ve stayed here dozens of times. This time we stayed on the 4th floor with a package that included private check in, access to lounge and a small credit at the oak bar. The lounge offered coffee tea and soft drinks all day, happy hour w light bites from 5-7, and breakfast buffet in the morning until 10. Service was so friendly and efficient in the lounge and among the housekeeping staff. Cori is always the icing on the cake.

Hard to say, perhaps the elevators are a bit slow but it helps force a little walk up a few staircases, so…

The room was spacious, impeccably clean and well furnished. Was an unreasonably hot day, went to my daughters 4 hour graduation and lunch, followed up by cooling off at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. I also appreciated the lack of an honor bar. Bravo! They are not necessary. We had appertifs in the downstairs bar before heading out for dinner. The location is amazing and this was actually the reason why we chose the Fairmont Copley. In the midst of the heart. Perfect stay.

I cannot think of anything I disliked.

The room was exceptionally large and beautiful. It had double sinks in the bathroom and a walk-in closet. Everything was clean and beautifully appointed. The beds (two queens) were very comfortable. The hotel itself is in a perfect location and near a myriad of restaurants and activities.

One outlet in the bathroom did not work nor did the coffee maker. Also, it would be nice to have a refrigerator--there was a space for it but it was removed. --

Location, the building is amazing

Staff didn’t communicate well. We were told breakfast was included, they sent us to the restaurant where there was a menu with prices, which was odd for complimentary breakfast. We asked and they told us that we should charge the check to the room and this would later be deducted. All this was too weird so we ask again in front desk about the breakfast situation and that’s when they finally explained that we needed to do a $100 upgrade to the room for the complimentary buffet and access to a lounge. This was clearly a good deal after having paid $200 breakfast in the oak bar.

Beautiful , clean interior..with a wonderful scent that felt luxurious yet gentle... the rooms were spacious it really didn't feel crammed as many hotels with similar inner city locations do... the staff were very kind, from the door men to the housekeeping ...everyone we met made us feel at home... and location was just perfect... we had access to many great locations by foot ... nothing negative

Staff were all welcoming and helpful. Room was spacious, immaculate and had everything we needed. The fourth floor gold service was outstanding. Wonderful to have a smaller quieter space for relaxing. The Pantry/hors d'ouvre/breakfast excellent and all the staff were wonderful. We stayed here many years ago and it is equally good and next time we're in Boston would be back without hesitation.

Super location - beautiful hotel! The lobby and entrance is fabulous and the Christmas tree & decorations just perfect. Restaurant very nice - although I thought maybe there would be more decorations there. Room was nice - standard for hotel of this level, comfortable, clean etc. staff were friendly and very helpful - especially one of the concierge’s who was super helpful, great directions and had a fabulous Boston accent!!

The flush in the toilet was a bit finicky.

The location was fantastic with everything around easy to access Cocktails at the inhouse Bar were amazing

We arrived when it was completely full so there was no rollaway available. Our son had to sleep on the floor. The hotel provided blankets and pillows for him and he said he managed to sleep.

Everything was very comfy - bed a little soft for my taste but hey, personal preference. We had double beds and the room was big. Hotel is beautiful and so convenient. Cori the dog makes it feel even more like a home away from home. Rooms were clean, even with a shower curtain which I hate. Concierge is lovely, staff generally lovely. Great job.

Too many text messages from the hotel after we were told our room was ready. Mostly asking for feedback, I believe. Cushioned seating in the restaurant was always covered with stains or crumbs when I went to sit.
