We asked to see our room before we checked in, and staff member Edin cheerfully took us there. As with many travellers, we have experienced some unacceptable accommodations but not at this hotel. The hallways were bright and smelled clean. Same was true of the room itself. What I loved most about this hotel was the tribute and respect given to veterans. I spent quite alot of time reading the stories of medal of honor winners and looking at the photos of our service members, especially the code talkers. Thank you for your amazing displays of patriotism and for honoring those who served.

huge room - great for traveling with pets. very nice lobby with veterans museum. accessible room was right by the accessible parking spots at rear entry. lots of counter space. half wall between sofa bed and main bed was good for privacy. indoor pool open 9-9, indoor fitness center

there was a bit of a gap between the windowsill and the blackout curtains, but we were able to use the couch cushions to complete the blackout. pull out sofa mattress was very thin

Location was excellent for us because it was closer to what we needed to accomplish. It is on the edge of the eastern side of town but downtown is still less than 10 mins away. Breakfast was very nice. Eggs, sausages, various breads, a waffle maker & I really enjoyed the green chile stew. I didn’t get to use the indoor pool or jacuzzi but I will next time.

I’m not sure. Even my husband who is extremely picky about hotels said he’d stay there again. So that’s quite a compliment.

The room was comfortable and clean. Its located on Route 66 so we did drive down the street. We arrived on a Sunday and many of the restaurants in the area were closed. So we ate at El Ranchito on Route 66 and was pleasantly surprised. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and plentiful. Our bed was very comfortable.

Everything was great.

Besides being and very clean, quite facility, it was one of the most military honoring place I have ever been. From all branches of the US military to the Code Talkers of the Navajo Tribe. The manager, Ken Riege, told us the history of how the Comfort Suites at Gallup, NM became the military honoring place it is. I would recommend if you are traveling out that way, it would be worth going 200 miles out of your way to stay at the Comfort Suites at Gallup, NM.

The main thing that I did not like was that when I booked my reservations on-line, the website did not ask whether I was a Veteran or not (I am) and since I booked it without the cancellation option (because I was going to be staying there) I did the prepay and save myself some dollars.

Our room was large, clean, and comfortable with easy, close parking. The breakfast included omelets, breads, yogurt, meat options, and waffle makers among other selections. What really set this property apart, though, was the beautifully presented military artifacts and photos displayed throughout the lobby and hallways. There was a room dedicated to the Navajo code talkers. We had an informative guide in Teresa who shared the history and language of these essential warriors. Teresa is a treasure!

Littl breakfast lady was exceptional and personable. She was friendly and helpful. Very patriotic feeling entering hotel. Staff at desk were helpful and fast at checkin

Hot tub has yucky brown (alge?)stuff floating around. Husband told staff at front desk but they seemed unfazed. One key to open pool room, our room keys don't work for it, you have to ask to be let in. Pool was great and clean.

Nice clean room with plenty of space. Bed was very comfortable, and the room was well appointed.

The heater/furnace in the room was one of those window units. The fan on the unit ran ALL NIGHT LONG! It was quite annoying and made it difficult to sleep. Why do hotels use these units and, moreover, place them right next to the bed!? Why did the fan have to run ALL NIGHT LONG? I finally unplugged it in the morning for some peace at the risk of not getting any heat at all. On another note, the "breakfast" was terrible. A so-called scrambled egg was a thin slider that sort of resembled a real egg of some sort.i choked on it. There is no juice of any sort, and a toaster that barely heated up a bagel along with bad coffee. Thankfully there is a real restaurant nearby.
