Great location, beautiful hotel with very helpful and attentive staff. Although I was searching for accommodation in Catania, I was very pleased to find this hotel in Aci Terezza - in fact, I think it was a better choice than staying in the "city". Hotel - rooms are all modern, clean, well equipped. The scenery is great with the bay and the spectacular lava pillars. There are plenty restaurants around and the hotel also has a Michelin star restaurant. Overall, great experience!

It is surprising that that the beach terrace is payable for the hotel guests, even if sun beds are already occupied.... anyway, they have one at least :)

First thing that comes to my mind is the staff. All the staff members of the hotel were good, but the reception staff in particular was great. No matter what issue or problem there was - they always solved it immediately and were very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The sea view matched what was advertised. The terrace restaurant was very nice and romantic with nice tasty dishes. The private parking for the hotel guests is about 5min walk from the hotel.

Loud music from the bar next to the hotel was a problem during the night, particularly for the rooms with windows directly facing the bar. We were lucky that the reception staff were understanding and changed the room for us.

Great location for a day close to / in / on the water, or for daytrips on the Eastern coast e.g. Taormina or Catania. Friendly staff and good overall hotel standard. In the evenings, nice live music on the upper terrace.

Room Aircon would run only full fan (loud) or off; even though temperature could be adjusted. For a "Grand Hotel" we would hope for a slightly better breakfast selection including fruits / egg station and standard better coffee (however available on special order!)

I could not praise Hotel Faraglioni enough. The hotel was clean, the staff was pleasant and even went out of their way. Our 7 year old experienced terrible jetlag. He was literally nauseous for three days and was vomitting. The cleaned our room every single day, replaced our soiled bedsheets (yes, the child vomitted on the bed,,, we were so sorry!) but they did this every single day during our stay with a smile and no complaints at all. Jessica - our room attendant was super! She said do not worry about it, no problem every single time! And even gave my son a gift to cheer him up. The food was excellent and the views from the terraza is stunning. The breakfast was top notch I missed it so much! Highly highly recommended!

Excellent service, very nice location. Wonderful Experience! Wide choice for breakfast, including fresh traditional sicilian pastry and fruit! A four-star hotel, extremely clean and well kept. The hotel has convenient and safe parking at a location nearby. The rooms offer very good comfort and nice views of the sea. Overall, it exceeded our expectations. We are experienced travelers (adults and one child) and have visited many locations in Italy and all over the world. This was a very enjoyable experience! We would highly recommend this hotel and region to anyone looking for an authentic Sicilian vacation!

Breakfast was really good, so was the location and staff. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking was easy to find nearby, but we were not there during high season.

We were on the 3rd floor (both rooms quite apart from eachother) and there was this constant humming sound coming from above (probably some ventilation or other equipment up above) that was quite annoying during the night.

The exceptional customer service from all staff, a special shout out to Antonio, the F&B manager for his professionalism and wide knowledge about wines. The waitress Michaela on the rooftop terrace was always charming and cheerful and looked after us very nicely. A massive shout out to Antonella, who went all the way to provide us with all the information we needed and more... She was very welcoming and gave us very interesting suggestions as to where to eat and so on....by the way, views from the rooftop are breathtaking during the sunset...

Drinks on the rooftop terrace are overpriced!! ( Chamomile tea 6€)

Our rooms were spacious, the hot water plentiful, and the bed very comfortable. Sheets and towels were soft and high quality! The bar in the lobby was excellent and convenient. They have a restaurant next door with a typical western and Italian breakfast. I walked back to the bar in the hotel lobby to get a traditional Italian coffee and the barista didn't charge me. She recognized me as a guest of the hotel - impressive!

The coffee options at the breakfast are all made by a machine but you can walk back to the hotel and get a legit Italian coffee. The elevators had a continuous foul smell for some reason? NO PARKING...but they do offer parking at their adjacent hotel for 10 euro a day, but you must drive the car yourself. For the price of the hotel, this was surprising.

Great location, and warm hospitality and professionalism from the staff. Recently renovated room, clean and cozy. Very nice bar with a terrace, sea view, and live music.

One of the reason to choose this place was "Private parking", while in the reality there was not parking at all. Towels were dirty, but this issue were addressed by the team super fast.

We had a last minute decision to book outside Catania. It was a good idea. The extra 20 minutes drive was worth the location. The little town was beautiful, had great restaurants around. The hotel is not too big, end of October was not too busy. The room was spacious. Our breakfast was every morning at the terrace was beautiful, with amazing view. We left the terrace door open at nights loved the sound of the sea. Staff was very helpful and and we felt really welcomed.

We missed the gym but my husband loves running so he could replace it.
