There are three treasures in Agrigento. The first is the 'Valley of the Temples' The second is the wonderful B&B La Casa Di El, the third treasure is the owner Alfonso. The man is something rather special. Alfonso's knowledge and passion for his home city, coupled with the ease of contact by phone during our stay meant that we were able to fully enjoy the delights of this wonderful place. I do not hesitate to recommend this venue. The views are stunning (see the balcony view photo), the breakfast perfect, and It is the most incredible value for money. 10/10 A*

I would not change a thing!

Excellent location in the historic centre with secure parking in close walking distance; Alfonso, the host , is exceptional, very helpful, and provided an absolutely fantastic breakfast with fresh pastries both sweet and savoury ( still warm), fruit juice, a variety of yoghurts and coffee which we had on a terrace with a view of the Valley of the Temples. The building had an elevator, which is greatly appreciated. It was a very short drive to the Valley of the Temples, and only 20 minutes to Scala dei Turchi

The apartment was spotlessly clean. Our room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The view from our window over the Valley of the Temples to the sea was spectacular. The shower was good and hot. Strong Wi-Fi. The included continental breakfast is a bonus. Our host, Alfonso, was welcoming and very helpful - his information prior to arrival was comprehensive and communicated quickly in response to our questions. His advice about local attractions and how to access them was also comprehensive. Highly recommended and great value.

Position near the old part of Agrigento (and a short car ride to the Valley of the Temples) made the location excellent. Facility offered beautiful views of historic Agrigento and Valley of the Temples. Cheap and secure parking only minutes away -- and only 8 euro for 24 hours. Owner went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, including asking us if we had any particular requests for breakfast. Breakfast was great - much more than we needed. Elevator was useful, as we had heavy luggage. We could not ask for a better price.

Navigator had a difficult time finding the location.

Alfonso is a wonderful host and does everything to make you welcome. Excellent instructions on how to get there. Excellent accommodation. And the breakfast is a Holywood experience. The property is ideally situated: very close to the historic centre, allows for easy access (by car or bus) to the Valley of the Temples, and offers the possibility of free parking in the same or nearby streets (and paid parking very close by if you fail to find a space - which we never did). Highly recommended.

A great location for visiting the city of Agrigento, la Valle dei Templi, as well as La scala dei Turchi. Nice and spacious room and bathroom with an amazing views of the city and the Valley. Al, very welcoming, attentive, and caring host provided us with useful information about the area and, in the morning, a yummy breakfast with locals specialties. Also relatively easy was finding a parking nearby free or at an inexpensive price. All in all I highly recommend the place

To be honest, almost perfect my stay. I had here the best breakfast in all my journey. The owner (Alfonso) was very nice and helpfull. The house is amazing and have all we need, plus an amazing view from the city, the cost and temple valey. The location is also very perfect. There was only a small note concerning one of the blinds in the room that didn't close completely, but that didn't bother us at all. In general it was perfect stay for us.

Great Views over the valley of the temples to the Mediterranean Sea. Alfonso, upgraded our room and gave us an early breakfast, so we could go sightseeing. Plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distances of B&B.

Parking could be a trying, but if you could wait for five/ten you could usually find a spot. There is a Pay parking site 1 minute from the B&B.

Are two nights in Agrigento were wonderful. Alfonso could not have been more helpful. He spent time explaining everything we needed to know about the town and visiting the Valley of the Temples. The location is excellent. We arrived by train from the airport and B&B is in walking distance as well as the bus station and the main center of Agrigento. There are several restaurants a short walk from the B&B. Our room was was large, clean and had great view of the Temples from our large balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and large. Every morning Alfonso brought us breakfast to our room at whatever time fit our schedule that day. Breakfast included different juices, jams and wonderful cornetto’s.

Alfonso was fantastic, he truly made the place feel special. Loved his passion and breakfast fit for a King/Queen. We stayed in the Deluxe suite on the 11th floor which was spacious and had stunning views. Honestly, if you want a unique and memorable Agrigento stay, look no further!
