Everything about this B&B is exceptional! The location, cleanliness, sumptuous breakfasts, staff. However, the most outstanding quality of the I Tetti in Agrigento were rhe welcoming and very warm-hearted hosts, Mario & Dina. We have traveled extensively and rarely found this level of authentic hospitality. We highly recommend! Elena & Dave (California)

The hosts were kind and went out of their way to find us and usher us up the street to the location (if you drive, really really follow the instructions they text you and not Google maps). Parking was easy. The place itself is perfectly located, walking distance from the main parts of the town, and the rooms are really lovely. We were two couples and a kid, stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it as our home base while we explored the temple ruins and museum. The place was just right for us.

Breakfast is a bit of a carb-fest, even by Sicilian standards. You are asked if you want sweet or savory... then buckle up as a mountain of your selected genre of pastry is piled onto your plate. It is very generous, but also feels like they just want to see how much tourists can possibly consume. By morning two it was already quite overwhelming and we gave a hard no to offers for more. There is some yogurt and fruit, but they are really side dishes. Coffee is good but giant... Perhaps catering to stereotypical Americans.

We stayed at Tetti di Girgenti for one night as we wanted to visit the Valley of the Temples (which were amazing). The communication from Dina prior to arrival was great and she showed us how to get to the accommodation (she sent a little video which was fab) and she and Mario arranged to meet us as we arrived in the Centre to ensure that we didn't get lost (some of the streets are vary narrow). The hotel has a wonderful location right in the centre of Agrigento and very close to plenty of restaurants, shops and the key attractions. Our room, on the 1st Floor, was clean a decent size and had a practical bathroom with a nice shower. Breakfast was served on the terrace (which has incredible views across the town and of the Temples - it is a lovely place to enjoy the afternoon sunshine with a glass of wine) and was an incredible experience. It consisted of a vast array of Italian / Sicilian sweet and savoury dishes - Mario is in charge and his objective is basically to get you to eat as much as possible .... and he relishes this challenge. The food was lovely and Dina provides you with fresh coffee / tea. Dina was able to help with recommendations for dinner - she suggested Krokos and we enjoyed our meal there. We really enjoyed our stay and Dina and Mario are not only lovely people but were wonderful hosts - its just a shame we were only staying the one night.

Although the room was located on the 1st Floor it still has a pathway directly behind it which was a little noisy early in the morning.

It’s a beautifully decorated, immaculately clean B and B. The nice sized room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing- a wonderful yogurt parfait, croissants, arancini, almonds, pistacchio nuts and more….The cappuccino looked like a work of art! The best of all was the property owner who went out of his way to help us with our luggage and to find a parking spot for our car. When we left the next day, he went out of his way to show us out of the city and took us to the Agrigento temples. He also provided us with very good directions to our final destination in Ragusa. He made our stay extra special with all the care and hospitality he showed us. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking to stay in Agrigento.. I

Nothing- I liked it all

Our hosts Dina and Mario went well beyond what you would expect from an accommodation. The communication concerning our arrival on the day was excellent and we immediately felt important. We did not however expect to be picked up from Agrigento Centrale! The accommodation is ideally situated in a quiet part of town, just a short walk to the restaurants, bars and shops of the main street, and close to the numerous sites of interest. The room was comfortable and airy and we wished we could have stayed longer, although given the size of the breakfast we would have put on too much weight! This was a gem of a stay. Thank you again Dina and Mario.

We visited Agrigento in May 2024 while travelling around Sicily. We stayed at 1 Tetti di Girgenti for 2 nights to visit the wonderful Valley of the Temples. The hosts, Mario and Dina were very welcoming and collected us from the bus station. Our luggage was carried to our room which was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was savoury or sweet and Mario made sure that everyone had plenty to eat. We had enjoyable evenings at local restaurants. We had a very relaxing stay and would very much recommend this B & B. Mario drove us to the bus station and our next location was Cefalu.

Nothing, all was very good and memorable.

The staff/owners were warm and friendly and very generous with their time; they even collected us from the bus stop which was very much appreciated. We loved the location and breakfast. The top deck was delightful with views and rooftop outlook. We would stay here again.

We had two single beds which we had asked for but one was comfortable and the other mattress wasn't. I could feel springs underneath me and this mattress against the window seemed shorter and lower than the other mattress on the bed beside me. However, there was a thick woollen blanket in the cupboard which had we stayed longer, I'd have put underneath the bottom sheet and all would have been fine I'm sure.

Dina and Mario are amazing hosts. The location in the heart of the old city could not have been better for us. Breakfast was fresh, generous and plentiful. The view from the common area to the Valley of the Temples was amazing. The rooms were comfortable and roomy. We drove a rental care into town and Mario was extremely helpful guiding us to finding a near-by public parking area. We did not realize we were coming into town just prior to the Almond Blossom Festival, and there was a parade the morning we headed out to The Valley of The Temples that was amazing. We enjoyed our stay so very much.

We only stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed longer.

Mario and his wife went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We struggled to find somewhere to park our car and Mario drove out to meet us and guide us through the narrow streets to a space very near the b&b. He brought our baggage in and took us to the balcony to have a welcome drink. He helped organise a joint taxi with some other guests, to the valley of temples and also made a fabulous reservation for dinner. We couldn’t have asked for more. The room was simple but full of character and the breakfast and view were perfect!

I normally don’t leave reviews but Dina’s hospitality deserves one. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. She emailed us ahead of time to help us secure parking for our car. Then when we needed to have breakfast earlier than the B&B starting time, she arranged for us to have breakfast in a coffee place nearby which she paid for. The B&B is very well located, just a few steps away from Agrigento’s main street yet quiet enough not to hear any noise. The view from the terrace where you have breakfast served is amazing and is open for the guests to use at any time. In sum, a charming, beautifully decorated B&B run by a very attentive couple. Would definitely stay here again.
