Room 11 had a great view to the harbor and coast to the east side of Amalfi. The terrazza was nice for breakfast and an evening aperitif. The room was comfortable and had an old world charm. I loved the tiles in the bathroom. It was quiet except just before breakfast at 8:00. The 77 steps up to the hotel were not bad. The directions to get to the hotel were perfect.

The location with a full view of the sea, the Amalfi harbour and the Dumo was amazing! The room was clean and functional but a little bit small for us two with luggage. A beautiful breakfast terrace with a seaview added to the experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was to our full satisfaction. The Porter service from the harbour to the hotel saved our arrival experience.

The multitude of steps to reach the accomodation and also some steps inside (puh!) But, I suppose in Amalfi this is to be expected, since there is almost nothing flat and even in the City.

The property looked nicer in person than online. Our room had a beautiful view. The hotel was close to the ferry and centrally located to most things. You must be physically capable of climbing several steps to get to the hotel/room. The restaurant located to the left of the stairs had great tasting limoncellos and food.

The front desk lady wasn’t too helpful. She spoke very little English and we thought she was going to provide with more suggestions of places to visit but didn’t. She was accommodating when we needed towels which we appreciated.

So glad we chose to stay here in Amalfi - it’s in such a great location, quiet but central. The breakfast terrace is such a gem as it has beautiful views over the bay - we went up here to play card games over a nightcap most evenings and were surprised to have it to ourselves - so peaceful! Would definitely recommend choosing this hotel for an Amalfi coast trip. They also kindly helped post my purse back to the UK after I stupidly left it in the room!

Fine for us, but worth some people being aware that there is no accessible access, so you need to be able to walk up a fair few flights of stairs (but you will find this in most places on the Amalfi coast). Air con in the room didn’t get very cold so felt quite clammy.

Ok room with view over the sea and Amalfi center. Ok small breakfast, part of the tables on outside terrace. Nice bathroom. Very good family-driven seafood restaurant just downstairs from the hotel.

The air-conditioning was not very effective. Plenty of steps to walk up to the hotel entrance; not a problem for us but might be heavy for someone; positive side is the good views from up there.

The location was excellent. Loved the view from the patio and our room - magical! The breakfast was also great. Every place in Amalfi is somewhat historical; this place e seems to have been an old, stately home.

There's nothing we didn't like, but guests must be able to climb quite a lot of stairs to reach the hotel, then again in the hotel to get to the rooms.

Close to the port (not too many steps!), amazing sea and port view, very convenient to take the bus or boat, go to the beach, etc. Really liked the historic building, it felt like living in an old palace, the antique furniture. I liked the effort (not all successful but still a nice touch, to create a spa-like bathroom, with a never-seen-before jacuzzi shower and light effects.

For our needs and expectations, the place was perfect - it had local flavor, history, and a view.

The room was cute, clean, and bright with lovely views. Breakfast was good, and the staff was polite and efficient. The location was quiet, but near the marina and so many good restaurants.

The A/C took a while to get going, and if you don't like stairs, pick another hotel - counting the stairs inside the building to get to our room, there was a total of 109 steps up to the place! (Although they did send someone to help us get our bags up to the hotel the first day.)
