I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Locanda Costa D'Amalfi, a charming family-owned establishment that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality that made me feel right at home. The family-run aspect of the hotel truly sets it apart. The owners and staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their personal touch was evident in every interaction, from their helpful local tips to their genuine interest in my day's adventures. It’s rare to find such personalized service, and it made my stay all the more special. Additionally, the value for money at Locanda Costa D'Amalfi is unbeatable. The room rates are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the accommodations and the exceptional service. The rooms are clean, well-appointed, and offer all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I can't recommend Locanda Costa D'Amalfi highly enough. Whether you're looking for a delicious breakfast to start your day, friendly and attentive service, or excellent value for your money, this hotel has it all. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to the area!

The rooms were really clean and so cute. The halls were clean with the most beautiful tiles. Really a beautiful place. The hotel personal were helpful and accommodating. Did there best to speak English. Which is saying something for Italians. Lol one of the receptionist was extra kind and made special reservations for us at a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful view. A truly wonderful experience there.

The private beach that's advertised is not open all day or in the evening. We got the around 6pm and it was closed. We had to walk about 10min down the road to a public beach. Then 256 steps down to get there. Not ever being to the amalfi coast I didn't realize this was par for the course. But walking on the road is literally taking you life in your hands. If you've been there you know what I'm talking about. Not for the faint of heart. It is a couple buss stops from the town. So be sure to bring cash. Because you can't buy a bus ticket with a card

The hotel was exactly as described and the hotel rooms looked just as they are in the pictures. The staff was super super friendly and helpful even more than expected. The breakfast was really good with many different options and every morning we could get our stomachs full. The view to the sea from the balcony was breathtaking.

Moving around Amalfi coast was little bit tricky and there was only one bus line that had like only 2 busses an hour going. The weather was surprisingly cold and rainy in the mid April.

What an amazing stay we had! We recieved the room Positano that did not disappoint, being as beautiful as in the pictures. The view was breathtaking and the posibility to have breakfast in the room was fantastic. We enjoyed the continental breakfast with lots of delicious food to choose from. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. They even took us to the bus stop in our last day. Such kind people!Thank you so much for hosting us with such a care and kindness. Close by there was a nice souvenir shop.

The location is 2.5 km away from Amalfi and you are depending on bus or walking for 40 min, in case you do not have your car.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. They organised our boat trip to capri, made restaurant reservations for us and arranged taxi to and from the airport. We didn't realise that it's difficult to get to amalfi from naples airport, the owner organised transport for us with short notice and we arrived really late too. They also took us to amalfi to catch the boat trip, and collected us after. They were really nice. The room was very clean. Coffee was good. View at breakfast is beautiful.

Minor really, but you can hear the vehicles from the road in the room. Would have been nice to have the balcony room. But we'll contact the owner directly next time.

The view is great as the property is facing the sea. The rooms are really clean and they make sure to tidy our room every day. There is also a beach about 10 mins walk from the place. There is shuttle service available at certain timing so it is better to let the staff know in advance so they can arrange their time. We like that there is a lift inside so our luggage were easily loaded in!

It is quite far from Amalfi centre so there are not a lot of restaurants nearby. The closest ones next to the property were really expensive.

Manuela is very helpful with acclimating to the area and sorting out the bus schedule. The main thing we appreciated was Filomena driving us into town each morning at an agreed time. That was so helpful because so much time would be lost waiting for a bus that shows up whenever. Room was pretty basic and small but the bed was a good size for us. There is a very nice restaurant close by. Breakfast was wonderful and filling and in a nice location overlooking the water. Near a bus stop. We liked being on the coast road as that saved a lot of transiting time to get to the things we wanted to see.

We heard every sound outside our room. The bathroom is teeny tiny. The Wi-Fi is awful unless you are sitting in or outside the reception area. Every day I asked about it but the quality never got better. It was hard to not have Wi-Fi in our room.

It was in a great place close to Amalfi center, you could walk to few beaches around the area. Beautiful place to walk. The staff was very friendly and helped us a lit with questions and everything we needed for our vacation. Very clean also. Restaurants around the area were very good. Ciccio restaurant was very classy and welcoming. We enjoyed fresh seafood in the area.

The shower was little small but didn’t stop us enjoying the place., everything else was perfect.

Location - This is two stops from Amalfi town (towards Sorrento). You can easily reach here within 10-15 mins via SITA Bus. The great part of this accommodation is that you do not have to climb any stairs (which is common in Amalfi coast). The accommodation is on the main location and bus stop is within 300 mtrs walking distant (no steep asend/decend) and you can easily drag your luggage Hosts - Accomodative and welcoming.

Rooms - Not all rooms are sea facing. It was okay with me as the price was competitive, but wanted to call out for rest of you.

I really like the stay in Amalfi in this hotel, the location was perfect 15minutes far from amalfi center by bus and 30 minutes far from positano, and there are beautiful beaches near the hotel. The personal are really nice welcoming, always smily and always ready to help you if you have any questions or need any suggestions for the restaurants or places to visit. ❤️ We were satisfied about the room, the bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom everything was clean 👌🏻
