Beautiful and peaceful location, really friendly staff and room was very clean and well equipped. Incredible sunsets from the poolside! The massage bath in the room was a great feature and nice to have the spa on location. Restaurant was quite good but every option except one was meat so one to consider if you’re looking for vegetarian choices. It’s a long way (20 minute drive) from any other restaurants or supermarkets - we didn’t mind this and enjoyed the tranquility but if you’re less comfortable driving it might not be for you!

Relatively minor points for improvement. The teacups in the room were tiny - more suited to espresso than anything else! Talking of which would have been good to have proper coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was ok but not great. And would be better if checkout was later than 10am.

This hotel was amazing. It is located in the mountains about 30 km from Florence in a nice quiet area. After packed Florence lovely to relax. It has a pool with amazing view to nature. We saw even a family wild boar walking close by. We stayed in de suite in the other building. Perfect. You can walk from one to the other between the fields. Good after breakfast/lunch to digest. The rooms are nice modern and fresh. Great shower. Bed is comfy. Sauna and bath, but unfortunately no time to use. I have travelled quite a lot in Italy because of work and slept in many hotels but this one is really top 3! Also the diner with nice wines.

Nothing, for people who do not like quiet places may be not such a good place as it is opposite of busy cities like Florence

We treated ourselves to a night here before our last day on the Via degli Dei hike. We stayed in a beautifully finished room a short walk from the main building. Relaxing in the pool was bliss after days of walking and we had a delicious meal in the restaurant (worth carrying some slightly smarter clothes for the evening). The staff kindly made us a sandwich in the morning to take with us. We rejoined the trail a little further along above the village of Caselline.

Magnificient view. Great area. Stunning restaurant. Wonderful service. High quality equipment.

Prices for some extras and food are hefty compared to places with the same quality. They way to the nearby apartments is short and enlighted, but the last slope towards the second pool didn't have working lights and was quite slippery. Some steps could solve this issue.

Not too far from Florence, this lovely place sits on top of the hill overlooking the Tuscan Hills. We were greeted by the Owners on arrival and they graciously gave us a run down on the history of the property. And what a history there is!! Our room was lovely. Clean, comfy and had everything you need. The staff were brilliant and breakfast overlooking the countryside is a memory I’ll savior. You can’t help but relax at a place like this.

it’s not closer to home!! (Australia)

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Our room was exactly as advertised. It was quite unique style, simultaneously modern and traditional and we really liked it. Everything was brand new. We stayed in a separate building that was super close to the main building. The hotel has 2 pools, where the main pool is an infinity pool.

Restaurant food wasn't the best, I had someones hair in my pasta.

The hotel, the rooms, the parking, the view, the nature.

You have to get out of your car to type the passcode for the gate!, the facilities not open due to the season!, activities not available (not mentioned during my booking due to the season again!.

Nestled in beautiful countryside with breathtaking views, this is a lovingly restored property. Our room was a 'small double room' but still absolutely comfortable with a small garden and right by the fantastic pool. The host family is very accommodating and helpful with any concerns. Another plus: The accommodation has an EV charging station.

Everything. Gorgeous location great staff, great food.

Pool wasn't open yet but that was not their fault. It was weather related. We couldn't have gone in but it would've been perfect had it been warm enough.
