The Villa is so beautiful. Our room was massive! The Palladian style verandah was such a treat. The gardens are a shady oasis! Francesco and Carla are so warm and friendly. They bend over backwards to make sure their guests are comfortable and have everything they need. Carla cooks delicious cakes and breads for breakfast. She also makes her own jams and juices. Francesco showed us through the villa where stepped into rooms going back in time centuries. He told us about the history of the place. It’s just stunning and so well presented.

To say that this is a rare find is an understatement. I've never been happier to give a 10/10 review. Francesco and Carla are the perfect hosts, because they care deeply for the Villa, it's history, and to make the guests feel right at home. Mezzalira is a beautiful mansion located in a perfect location to visit the whole area by car. Padua, Verona, Vicenza and the best Palladian Villas are within easy reach. After 4 days, we still didn't get to see everything, so we'll inevitably have to return. Goes without saying that the place was very well mantained, clean, and let's not forget the incredibly quiet area. It's truly a unique experience, as if living in a museum. You won't regret this!

The breakfast is fantastic, in its own dining room in this lovely old villa, and the freshly baked cakes and bread, and freshly made jams and marmalades were a delight each morning. The property is located in the Veneto countryside and has a flock of chickens who laid fresh eggs each day which we also had for our breakfast. What could be better?!!

Nothing at all! We found everything to be excellent throughout, and Clara and Francesco are the most welcoming and friendly of hosts.

The magnificence of the villa and a wholehearted hospitality of Clara & Francesco made our stay unforgettable! Surrounded by small but historically & gastronomically rich region was a great educational refreshment. Rooms inside the villa are renovated by the highest hospitality & preservation standards. Super clean rooms, quietness and surrounded by one of the oldest gardens in the region, if not in Italy! If you want to have a glimps of how the Kings used to live you should definitely visit and stay a few nights or more. Thank you again Clara & Francesco 🙌

We had a wonderful time at the Villa Mezzalira and certainly will return. The rooms are spacious and tastefully arranged with antique furniture. The bathrooms are new. The terrace is stunningly large, peaceful and the view into the park puts you into immediate relaxation. Carla and her son Francesco are very warm and welcoming, they are extraordinary attentive and supportive. We received every morning a homemade cake or muffins, homemade jam, wonderful eggs from their own chicken. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of by Carla and Francesco. The location is perfect, since it is to the cities like Vicenza, Padova or Bassano only 20-30 minutes drive by car. Same for the Palladio Villas. Thank you very much for everything.

everything was wonderful

Amazing place. Loved the area. Beautiful building. Castle looking. Huge bedrooms and nice bathrooms. High ceiling. Set in great grounds overlooking nice wooded garden. Like a private forest. Many restaurants nearby but you need car as maybe 1 mile away. Hosts were great. Gave us all the info we needed. Even let us borrow a couple items for our work. Cannot wait till stay there next year. - looking forward to it.

Staying in a villa with such a long and interesting history was a real privilege. Hosts, mother and son were always there either to tell you stories or to help you with anything you needed. Breakfast with homemade food in a beautiful dining room with frescoes, music in the background. Ideal location to visit Palladian villas, Vicenza or Bassano del Grappa. Would like to come again and stay longer. Ciao, Carla e Francesco.

Francesco was a remarkable host. Very gracious. His B&B has a history dating back centuries. Our rook was gorgeous with painted walls and antique furniture. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and prepared by his mom. The grounds are beautiful. You feel like royalty when staying here.

There isn't anything we didn't Ike.

We stayed in the B&B Dal Viceré for one night and had a very pleasant time. The hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming. Dal Viceré is a beautiful place that takes you on a journey through the past. The house, which is more like a castle really, has a large balcony from which you can enjoy the impressive view of the garden, including one of the biggest ginkgo trees in Italy and many other exotic plant species. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and would always come back, not at least for the lovely breakfast we had in one of the rooms with original wall paintings, a fire place, and all the original furniture that creates a very harmonic atmosphere.

Really interesting and stunning building. In every little thing you see and feel the love the owners have for their B&B. Highly recommended. Even for people with several dogs. Nice park and good walks close by.
