This hotel is just outstanding , we have now stayed twice and we will come back again and stay. Firstly location location location , you are right over the road from swimming spots , a few mins on foot you can hire day bed and umbrella for 40€ two people. The hotel is a boutique type very clean and has all you need. The restaurant is open breakfast lunch and dinner, eat either inside or out, we prefer eating out looking over the water. Menu is comprehensive and also has allergy references . Our room was at front 2nd floor and had outside spa. Our room was very spacious, 2 huge suitcases and also carry on, plenty of room to move. Bathroom was also very well appointed. No need to bring a hairdryer as the one in the room works just fine. The hotel also owns Margrida 70 meters away and you get to use the pool there which was a blessing, in addition to this you must try the beautiful day spa, stunning and well appointed.We love coming here and commend Maria and her team, same crew year in year out. They really are the best hosts. Also you can organise transfers and boat trio with Christian Krause if you ask the hotel.See you next year Maria.

Nothing to complain about

Awesome location, there are several beaches in the walk distance. If go by car, you can explore even more better places nearby. Parking slots are available at the hotel for 6€ per day. You can easily rent a boat or get a tour around Cala Gonone coastline in the nearest marine (5 minutes walk). There is also a nice playground for kids on the street not far from the hotel. Many restaurants are available in the area. Rooms are also modern, comfortable and clean with AC and nice balcony. Daily service maintained clean and cozy atmosphere in the room. Good breakfast included with great varieties of food and drinks. Stuff was also friendly and gave us good recommendations to visit nice sandy beaches by car (~30 mins drive from the hotel). Additionally you can borrow sun umbrella for free at the reception. You can also access a good swimming pool in the partner hotel which is a great option for a cloudy day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend this place.

Pillows were quite thin but okayish. I guess they can be replaced upon request but we were too shy to ask about it. Also a bit of smell in the bathroom, but daily service helped to minimize it.

Perfect location. Really lovely small hotel. Kept spotless by the hard working cleaning staff. Our room overlooked the sea with a jacuzzi on the balcony. I would recommend to pay the little bit extra for the deluxe sea view rooms. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and worked tirelessly. Breakfast was lovely with a huge choice. You could eat this indoors or outside overlooking the sea. The aircon worked well. Shower good. Little gem!

The pillows could do with replacing as they were a little thin. To be fair I didn’t ask for new ones and I am sure they would change them if requested. The balcony door kept out any noise from the restaurant and passers by but the room walls are thin. We were woken one night from doors banging and loud voices , heard unwanted noises one morning (this was over quickly 😂) and could here our neighbours conversations on his mobile. Having said this it did not ruin our stay here. I would highly recommend this hotel, it’s fantastic!

Absolutely stunning location!! The room was lovely and spacious with a gorgeous view and balcony perfect to watch the sunrise! Even with being on the main street, once the doors were closed, any noise from outside was not an issue.

Unfortunately the hot tub was not working. The hotel did notify us 10 days before our stay but it was too late notice to find something as well located. The hotel were kind enough to offer us a complementary bottle of prosecco and a treatment at the spa of their sister hotel. In the end we had a wonderful stay regardless and I am glad we did not find alternative accommodation.

We had a great stay at La Conchiglia. The rooms are very nice and modern. We treated ourselves to the seaview room with hot tub. The views from the balcony are amazing and the hottub was an extra treat on the rainy day we had. It was lovely to eat breakfast by the sea.

The breakfast was okay, was expecting higher quality (especially bread and coffee) for a 4 star hotel, there also could be more variety, more healthy options. The only criticism: the walls are rather thin, we could hear our neighbour snore all night. Also, the price was rather high for off season.

The ,location is superb. Right on the seafront. The breakfast is very good, with plenty of choice. The room (104) was nice as it had two bedrooms, which made it spacious even with our luggage. Our room had a side sea view balcony. It was a little narrow, and could have been bigger. But it was ok. The rooms at the front of the hotel have amazing views and balcony. Worth paying extra for. The staff are all very friendly, very patient with my holiday Italian, even though they all speak excellent English. The hotel restaurant is very nice.

The room was beautiful with a lovely balcony and jacuzzi. The view was amazing. The bed was comfortable and the wifi was good. The parking was anywhere you could find on a nearby street and it was not too hard to find. You could have chosen paid parking for 5 Euros a night. The breakfast was very tasty and there was plenty of choice. The on-site restaurant provided a perfectly nice dinner for a reasonable price, though not outstanding. The location was perfect within easy walking distance of everything.

Our experience was somewhat spoiled by a very bad smell in the bathroom. The bathroom was new and clean and the gentleman at reception claimed the smell was blown in when the window was open, but the smell wasn’t in the main room and seemed to be related to the plumbing. It was possible to reduce the smell by putting water in the sinks and leaving the window open and door closed but it couldn’t be removed completely. It was such a shame because it was clear a lot of work had gone into making the place beautiful. I have marked the place down for cleanliness, just because of the smell in the bathroom - not because the place was at all dirty.

Lovely and very large light room with great views over the sea. Actually on the seafront. Modern and considered accommodation with fantastic staff. The bedroom was superbly equipped with plenty of lamps and sockets for phones etc thoughtfully positioned. A really pleasurable room to stay in. Breakfast was wonderful - great coffee. Some cooked eggs etc but a huge range of pastries croissants, breads and homemade jams as well as meats and local cheeses.The restaurant was excellent with a tempting menu of local fish and other local foods.

We liked everything. We feel we had an authentic Italian holiday hotel experience.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and conversational. The location was perfect, and luckily, we found a car park in the street around the corner. The delicious snacks with our pre dinner drinks were a lovely surprise. A full breakfast was included, and the staff went out of their way to meet my dietary needs. Sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean was relaxing. The later checkout was appreciated. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Nothing. That we didn't plan our itineray to stay for more nights!

The hotel was perfectly placed in town near all the restaurants, beach and port. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was excellent with lots of sweet and savoury options. The room itself was amazing. Being able to enjoy a hot tub in the evening overlooking the beach was a real highlight. Everything was clean and well presented.

Only one small thing was the pillows were pretty flat. This is a personal preference to have bigger pillows but everything else was perfect.
