If you are looking for a place that is not a city center, this is the place to stay as it's close to Taormina but not as expensive as staying there, also you can explore the nearest charming beach resort, Naxos. You will definitely need a car to go around though. You can get to Catania in 1h if you take a highway, so it's a good middle ground if you plan to see Taormina.The room size is good enough and water pressure in the shower is perfect. It is surrounded by a garden and you can see Mt. Etna from the terrace.

I thought the restaurant was open, and it wasn't informed. Instead, they gave us some recommendation though. There are lots of cats. I am a cat lover but my partner is allergic to cat, so watch out if you are.

A special mention goes to Francesca, the receptionist. This is my second visit to this hotel in the last two years, and once again, she was amazing. She helped us very politely with any need we had, ensuring our stay was comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast at this hotel is simply amazing, featuring products produced right in their own farm inside the hotel. The freshness and quality are outstanding. One of the highlights is the fresh oranges—you can squeeze your own juice, and it's incredibly refreshing. Additionally, they bake a different cake every day, adding a delightful variety to the morning spread. The breakfast is served in an old stable which creates a unique and charming atmosphere. The combination of delicious food and the beautiful, rustic environment makes the breakfast experience truly unforgettable.

Nice hotel in the countryside with medium-sized rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel is surrounded by lemon and orange plantations which are beautiful. They have huge gardens where you can sit down and relax. The room had basic amenities and was clean. The staff was very friendly. Great location, close drive to Taormina and Catania.

The bathroom was very small and old, there wasn't enough space to shower comfortably and the toilet flush was hard to use and did not work well. Our room was in the bottom floor surrounded by many tables of the restaurant. There was little privacy when the restaurant was packed, the windows lead directly to the tables filled with people that could easily peek into our room. You could also hear a lot of noise coming from the restaurant.

This was the best accommodation we ever had - and we travel a lot. Nice place with a big garden, view on Etna , nice stuff, local product, beatifull room. Everything was near - by car . We visited Taormina, near village Calatabiano , Letojani . We were in October , low season with not a lot people but the weather was great .I just love this place. I bought local shower gel rosmarino - its such a wonder .I will feel this atmosphere in my bathroom :-)

There is road near and you hear cars all the time .The breakfast - I was expected more local products and variety - had just one kind of cheese, and one of ham .

Beautiful place and surrounding nature. Kind and helpful host. Great communication. Check-in is from 15:00 until 20:00 and only by appointment. Check-out until 10:30. Great location if you have a car. It is located close to the motorway which might bother light sleepers. The room was very comfortable and cleaned daily. Towels are changed every three days. Nice homemade soaps. Great breakfast. The restaurant was closed but our host gave us a great tip on where to have dinner in the neighbourhood. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay in Antico Borgo Etneo.

A restored historic farmhouse and farm are situated in a scenic area within a rural agricultural landscape. Our comfortable rooms feature historic decor, cozy beds, and elegant furnishings. The farmhouse and grounds create a delightful atmosphere, with outdoor seating areas and a lovely setting for strolls. Breakfast is served in the central dining area, offering a variety of local specialties. The location is easily accessible from the motorway and is convenient for visiting the area’s beaches, inland towns, and historic sites.

The location is just superb. Surrounded by orchards with a beautiful view of the Etna and close to Taormina and Catania. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome even before you arrive. They provided gluten free options for my husband and also a small cake for his birthday! They do not prepare dinner but Francesca contacted a local trattoria which delivered food for us so we didn't have to always leave the place for dinner (though Giardini Naxos is only 10 mins away)

Nothing. Other reviews mentioned that it is close to roads but it really didn't bother us as it was not noisy at all.

We loved our stay at this charming agriturismo. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Francesca and her mother were extremely pleasant, helpful, and delightful. The views of Mt Etna and other hilltop towns were spectacular. The breakfast was excellent and we were lucky enough to stay on a Saturday night where we could reserve a spot for the Sicilian dinner - a well deserved meal after our climb to Mt Etna's summit crater. Walking through the beautiful garden with lemon, orange, and olive trees while soaking in the sun and views was relaxing. The agriturismo is well situated to other must see attractions like Mt Etna and Taormina, but you'll need a car to get to the property. Francesca and her mother recommended going to Bronte for the Pistachio Festival and it was a wonderful experience.

Hotel was very quiet, clean and with breath taking views and areas. Also the staff especially Francesca made us feel very welcome from the day we booked. They also offered us a garage for our motorcycle. Restaurant was very beautiful and with mouth watering Sicilian food. there was also live Sicilian music in which we very enjoyed durin dinner. Breakfast was great too with a lot of homemade food. It was a wonderful experience and this will not be our last visit for sure 😊.

Our best stay in Italy! Perfectly located for us who wants to travel by train, just minutes from Calatabiano station that takes you towards Taormina/Messina or Catania and onwards south. The Borgo is filled with historic details, surrounded by citrus orchards and equipped with the outmost caring hosts. Our room was spacious, clean and adorned with beautiful antiques as well as fitted with all necessary commodities, including a kettle and a full minibar. Wonderful breakfast in the old winery with a variety of fruits and vegetables, baked goods, homemade jams, and even pecans and pomegranates fresh from the tree. Also many lovely places to sit and relax out in the garden. And the dinner, amazing! An abundance of sicilian cuisine, made vegetarian upon request, including the best caponata we've ever had. Al fresco dining, entertained by the adorable house cats. Thank you very much Francesca with family, we felt truly welcome. Wish we could have stayed longer. Love, Sabina & Anders
