Wonderful aircon in all 3 rooms during a hot time of year. Very comfortable beds. Excellent bathrooms but the showers were never hot - tepid at best. Breakfast was provided - left in the fridge and cupboards and very basic. We didn't use much of it.

The basins and kitchen sink had hot water but the showers are 'solar' and were never warmer than tepid - OK when you are boiling hot but not comfortable first thing in the morning. Uninspiring breakfast provided.

Very spacious and new apartment in a historical building in the heart of the Historic Center of beautiful Caltagirone. The owner is a wonderful young lady who lives on the first floor below the rental apartment. The street entry is only for her apartment and the rental. She is available for any assistance required and has lived in the town for a long time. The apartment is wonderful, brand new and modern. It has two big bedrooms - one with an amazing view over the town and countryside from its high perch in Caltagirone. This amazing Sicilian hill-town town warrants two full days to walk around and see it all, plus experience the amazing Osterias, Trattorias, Ristorantes (and two nationally-ranked restaurants for fine dining). We stayed 4 nights and one of the days did a fantastic day-trip and scenic drive to Grammichele, Licodia Eubea, Chiarmonte Gulfi, and Vizinni. That brings up an important point that is true for any Sicilian hill town. Parking. There is a free lot in the piazza just out the door of the building (Piazza Innocento Marcinno). Locals park there because it they know hot to get to it. Google Maps will send you up wrong-way lanes and cobbled streets that are so tight that only a local with a small car would dare try. But there is a good way up to that lot.... Set your Google maps to Via Roma and enter it from the Southeast and to the right of the big park (Giardino Pubblico Villa Comunale). Go up Via Roma to the main square by the Duomo and then you are an easy path into the parking lot. Look for the signs for B&B Al Centro Storico. The next day after arrival, I walked it and figured it out so got in and out later with no problem. Or park at the top of the town to the North in the huge free parking lot at Viale Regina Elena, 43 and call the owner who will come get you and your bags (or from any parking lot just outside the historic center). Great town. Great apartment. Great private owner!

This fabulous apartment was close to central storico , recently renovated with everything you need. Our hostess was exceptional, helping with parking and giving us local information. Checkin was easy. We highly recommend this property

Location was great and could walk around the town. Very clean, comfortable beds, good AC, great espresso machine with good coffee and breakfast items. Irene, the owner, was close by for any issues or concerns. She was very helpful.

The apartment seemed brand new. Remodeled with everything a couple or family will need. All modern appliances, kitchen and bathrooms. Within a block of the old town center and many historical sites. Breakfast was amazing! Sicilian pastries, fresh fruit, cold cuts, and the best cannoli in Sicily. Our host was fantastic!
