Among all the good things I have to say about this property, the first one that comes to mind is the location. It is near the beach and all the nice restaurants. We booked a room at the first floor (with a queen size bed and an additional one for our son). The balcony was huge: extending to the edge of the building. The breakfast was good but it could use more variety. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and it was quite good. The roof top has comfy armchairs and sofas from where you can have a great view of the seaside or the mountains.

Clean, comfortable, value priced, oceanfront hotel across the street from the beach in Lido di Camaiore. Balcony had an unobstructed sea view. From bed you can see the sea and the Camaiore Pier. Lots of free parking in town just a couple of blocks away. Air conditioning worked great!

Just a couple of little things.. my balcony didn't have a chair or table. There was no extra pillow in the room. The bathroom could use a stronger light bulb. But considering the price paid and the amenities, this is an excellent value. Looking forward to coming back!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The structure is old but everything (except wifi) was working fine including a/c, which we could tweak to our liking. The location is perfect, near the beach and the main promenade with restaurants and all. Excellent view from the terrace on the 5th floor. The hotel has a deal with a few beach services nearby so you'll get a discount (one of then is right in front of it). The room was small with just a tiny desk, but we managed; there's a small empty fridge and a safe.

Just minor stuff: our room had no balcony (I believe the majority have one) but I guess that's the reason for the lower price. So to dry our clothes we had to go to the terrace where there is a tiny hanger, which fortunately was not used by anyone but us. The parking might be tricky: there's no hotel parking per se, but you have to park in the streets (not free). The hotel offers a discount for it so you'll have to pay 5 euro per day. It was not difficult for us to find a parking spot, maybe we were lucky (saturday afternoon) and there's a spot reserved for the hotel to unload your luggage. Wifi wasn't working at all in our room, we had to use our data connection.

The location on the lungomare was perfect, in the centre of Lido di Camaiore, yet relatively quiet at night, and close to Viareggio. The soundproofing was exceptionally good, the roof terrace with sunbeds had a great view and was a bit cooler than down on the ground, and the staff was friendly. Last, but not least, as a solo traveller I liked the possibility to have a decent and clean single room with balcony and sea view at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay there again if I come back to the Versilia area.

Very friendly staff. When we arrived, they came out and helped us park the car. Parking was paid at the hotel. The room was clean, there was everything you needed. The first line from the sea. Very nice view from the balcony. There is a recreation area in the yard. The stairs in the hotel are covered with a soft carpet, so you can't hear people walking. Everything in the hotel is created with love for its guests.

It's a little noisy outside the window in the evening because the embankment is so close. But when you close the window, there is complete silence. There is an air conditioner in the room so that it is not hot.

The Wi Fi connection really sucks, no way I could connect in my room, I was forced to go in the downstairs outside area, and it still was weak.

We visited Lido Di Camaiore right before the end of the season (15/09), which is probably why it felt too calm for such an area with lots of restaurants, bars, and shops. Our experience with the hotel was mostly amazing: check-in and check-out were smooth, the room was cleaned every morning, and, as a nice surprise, it had a partial seaview which we didn't book and weren't expecting. The hotel is conveniently located in front of an infinite beach, where one can find both paid and free options to enjoy the sea (we actually chose the hotel because of a free beach nearby). A pleasant bonus is a small area with sunbeds on the roof, where one can repose and sunbathe, and which offers a marvelous, almost uninterrupted 360 view. Unfortunately, there is no parking on premises, but you can buy a daily parking ticket at the reception for just €4. Otherwise, parking is €1 per hour during the season, and €0.5 off season, from 8 am to 8 pm. It wasn't busy when we stayed, but it's most likely not the case during summer, so keep that in mind. I can't tell anything about breakfast since we decided to proceed with local cafés and panetteria for that.

As for cons, the room was a bit tight, but sufficient nevertheless. There was only one liquid for shampoo, shower gel, and soap (kinda 3 in 1), so we bought our own shampoo. Everything else was provided. The water pressure in the shower was average (could have been better), but not low enough to spoil our stay :-) Wi-Fi should be improved as it's almost impossible to connect from the room, but we weren't there for Wi-Fi either.

Except there is no own parking, everything was perfect, cleanness, good water quality, etc. I will stay again if I travel again in this area. Thank you so much.

Great location overlooking the beach and the ocean. Friendly and helpful staff. A classic feeling of oldfashioned Italian beach hotel in a positive way. Simple rooms but a good bed, a fridge and balcony. Clean and nice bathroom.
