We loved a garden surrounding accommodation. It is really beautiful and provides for much needed shade. Breakfast is excellent. Restaurant serving breakfast and lunch is nicely located close to the beach overlooking the sea. Lunch menu is excellent. Fitness area is small but good enough and fitness classes ran by Stefania are amazing and so relaxing. Kids club is great. The hotel has one of the best pools I have seen. Wifi is very good.

I did not like the beach, maybe beacause I was expecting a white sandy beach. There is a bit of sand on the shore where sunbeds are but entry to the sea is rocky. Dinners do not feel very special. I felt more like in a cantine. There is nothing nice to see or gor for a walk nearby. We had a car with us as we were anyway planning to do a few trips and dine in Tropea.

The location is perfect with access to the beach and parking in the property. It’s 25 min away from Tropea and 35-40 min from Vibo Marina. They did a pretty good job with the amenities. We love the gardens and the decoration. The staff is amazing, always helpful and able to all our needs.

It’s pricy but you will get back what you pay for sure!

Everything! It was an absolutely gorgeous resort with wonderful staff.

It’s a family friendly location so there were a lot of kids. Otherwise, we loved everything. There are also only 2 restaurants. Be sure to make dinner reservations in advance!

The ocean was beautiful, but there are lots of rocks in the water which can be challenging for children and seniors .

Baia del Sole is a gorgeous property. the grounds are well groomed and the rooms are stylish clean. Exceptional experience all around. One of the best.

Do NOT stay at this hotel without a car or full board. They told us there were unable to seat us for dinner most nights we were there (and other nights only after 9) leaving us with no option other than a 60 euro car ride to Tropea to eat dinner. For a hotel that is this hard to get to, it’s unfashionable that they can’t serve every guest dinner (especially when they are able to serve breakfast to everyone?) Separately, I booked a car through them to pick us up at the port. No car came. I called the hotel to ask about it and they confirmed they had forgotten to book it, leaving us stranded. When we checked in, there was no apology offered. Also, it’s not a good place to stay in bad weather as there is a runoff from the mountains right next to the beach. This meant the water was full of debris from the mountain, making it impossible to swim for the first few days we were there. I brought all of these issues while I was there and was met with no response.
